      As a kayle main I hate riot every day for makeing her w the way that it is right now. 90 mana for a 55 hp is a bruh moment. It only is worth useing if I had a second person to also heal and the only thing about it that is good is the 24% bonus movement speed for 2s witch can help run or chase in lane or bosst a teamate during a chase or an escape. But still to low amout of hp it gives for 90 mana is a bruh moment

      You know what would be more balanced but a lot more fun? Make Kog's passive being able to execute minions. Best feeling in the world would be playing proxying suicide Kog'maw

    A death passive on a hypercarry that isnt suposed to die is always going to be badly designed, no matter how you go about it

      I don't think it's *that* badly designed conceptually. Sure, if you don't make any mistakes ever then it's a wasted passive, but let's be honest. Just because Kog Maw isn't supposed to die doesn't mean that he's not going to be dying constantly, and a death passive does mean that you at least get *something* if the enemy does what they're supposed to and burst you down first.
      That being said the actual ability is garbage, yeah.

    Activating W can also lower Kled's ceiling. His W is one of the reasons why Kled is hard to master because it takes a lot of patience and perfect timing to use it. If you accidentally hit the wrong target with your W1, then good luck for the remaining seconds. Quite a lot of players (including me) wished W could be toggled but that's a bad idea to practice.

      You can see it the other way, the moment you hit a minion accidentally is the moment your mental Kled goes "oh, welp! Time to kill! :D"
      And then you EQ into their face when they least expected you to

    Nasus's Wither is one of the abilities I have the most problem with. With how slow it makes you, it's basically a 5 second point-and-click root that also lowers attack speed for no reason.

      I agree. I once played support Nasus to prove just that. Did not stack my Qs at all. All I did was poke with E, then W the enemy ADC every time they tried to even fight us. They did not have a fun time.

      @@silentkaisei Feels real bad when you're playing a squishy and Nasus ghosts in and withers you, just for your team to run away and leave you to die. It also doesn't feel good as a tankier player cause you just have to sit there and take all that damage you normally wouldn't. You can't even use ghost to counter it. It's just awful in every way possible. The least they could do is to make it a skill shot.

      @@adambryant4149 ikr, and even if you build tenacity it just goes to the max value of the slow/wither faster so it doesnt even help. Slow resists (like swifties, and unflinching) are the only thing that helps

    As someone who used to main Yorick, his W is surprisingly good ability. If you play him enough you get used to hitting E:s constantly which will give you free wall most of the time. Also it is an amazing escape tool seeing you don't have dashes, just run to the jungle and block the whole pathway with the wall (don't try to block the enemy inside of the W, but block them outside it so they need to break the wall or have two dashes). Also best feeling in the world is when you have an vladimir against you and you get him stuck inside your W when he pools. Also if you have your ult and minions out and you get enemy stuck inside the W, you can run in to Q, then run out to wait for the CD to come back while your minions do all the dirty work. Yorick wall is one of his best abilities.

      Trapping a rammus using it's Q is also very satisfying but i'd like the wall to prevent dashes for wall HP like 1 dash 1 or 2 wall HP. That would bring a little bit of couter play against champs like yone irelia and belveth

      He mentioned that anyone can just auto the w to cancel it but it’s hard for players to prioritize that when you land e and there’s 4 mist walkers that also need to be auto attacked imo it’s actually a great ability when used right.

      Yeah I don't get his logic here. Aatrox's W is not wholly reliable either but because his ability to lock down an opponent is stronger makes it a better designed move...??? I also think he's short sighted about the utility of the move. You don't necessarily even need to get the opponent inside of it for it to be useful since you can use it to block chokepoints and mess up enemy pathing that makes it harder for them to engage in certain areas. In that sense I'd actually say it's more reliable and useful than Aatrox's W if we're running that comparison.

      The only problem i have for Yorick's wall is that i wish it has longer casting range. Since it can be destroyed, does not deal any damage, has a delay, and Yorick is not a mobile hero, he atleast should have that kind of strength in cc. I mean look at Veigar's cage, it's quite bigger and has longer casting range. And he is someone who can obliterate enemies very fast. The same goes for Irelia's Ult and she has so many dashes. Also with Jarvan's Ult, Camille's Ult and Thresh's Ult, they can dash from a far distance and entrap enemies. Yorick just has this tiny bit of range to cast it which sucks. But i would argue that his E is worse than his cage. I mean wtf is that projectile. It's like he lazilly dropped a water balloon or something. It doesn't even deal good amount of damage. It just attracts his walkers if you have one activated. It's so awkward to cast, quite slow, and has a weird AOE shape and size.

    Teemo's kit in wild rift is amazing. Everything in there feels cohesive, feels like an actual well thought out kit with a clear identity. Hit and run. In wild rift Teemo has his passive and his e switched so instead of having to stand still to activate it, you can now activate it on demand and you retain invisibility while standing still, instead you get to keep the in is for a few seconds after u move. This already gives Teemo so many new ways to play by being able to choose whether u want to lie and wait or go for damage and then run away. This also allows him to put points into other abilities instead or being forced to put all his points in his e to do his main for of damage. Ofc his w is a small dash (a cute little roll) and then a movement speed buff after the dash. His ulti is a instead a small area of effect that lingers for a bit rather than this big explosion, making it so it reduces people's frustration with him, you are no longer punished for your teams mistakes.
    Basically his wild rift rework makes him less frustrating to play against and more rewarding to play while giving him a multitude of diffrent playstyles. It also allows him to go jungle which tbh fits Teemo a lot more anyways.

      Yea teemo should be reworked to be a jungler imo. Would fit him more anyways and actually give him a place in the game. Top just isn’t it. He kinda works now he just needs an easier means to gank and in invis ability like in wr would give him that.

      It was most definitely stupid.

      Twitch 100-0s u in a W E Combo while teemo wants you to chase him he can combo his Q when u are in range to hurt him so you get mad and run into his shrooms… Their entire game plan is literally polar opposite besides “ohohoho stealf”🤓

      I play a ton of Jarvan and his claim that "Jarvan players would prefer Teemo's W" is insanely stupid. I can't tell you how useful Jarvan's W is for conditioning opponents during ganks and how much that slow actually adds to kiting. Vars just tunnel visioned on the shield; which isn't even THAT good and has situational strength, and acted like the move is total garbage as a result.

    I wouldnt call Kleds W badly designed. Its not satisfying to be bound to its cooldown and involuntary use yes but its the one balancing lever Kled has. The whole design philosophy of Kled is to go absolute ham whenever and when it works you more or less win. So cranking down the damage on W damages the point of the character where you get rewarded for playing risky.

      I personally think that its a great design. Its unique, its cool, and limiting an ability around such a unique factor is much better than just giving them worse stats, long cooldowns, or other factors that just makes it less satisfying.

      I would like Kleds w to be a click to activate tbh over a have to a involuntary proc whenever you auto. Sucks if you are trying to last hit minions but have to proc w to do it leaving you with one less ability if the enemy tanks you at the right time. Most champs top don’t have to deal with something like that

      @@raidenesp1096 That is why you level Q first man, not just for dmg, but for its farming use. It isnt as bad as you say, in early you dont even level it up (just save points) before you need it (longer first trade or first all in, eventually to get fast back on mount level 2). Its not an issue in late game bcs of short cooldown with max level and CR. It only irritating in last moments of earlygame and fist half of mid game, which i take every time over bullshit scaling champs have to go through early. It just takes practise and knowledge how to use it, something like with illaoi passive where you just need to remember spots where you should position in order to get good tentacle

      True. I was KLED OTP, his W is ok. The problem is his bugs AND his passive, his passive works really stupid. Like, when you stack your passive, and even animation begins, there's still a small window where you can take damage and die. It's so unfun, you see that your passive is already stacked, so you save your flash, items. And then you die. They need to make it more intuitive, so players can just look and animation and know that they made it.

    I kind of like Kled's violent tendencies becuase of how well it fits kleds charecture. It also forces you to play smart in lane around it, using your q to farm instead of autoing.

      seems no matter how much you make a case that something is "bad game design" sometimes people just like bad anyway. flawed is interesting and that can apply to characters as well. shit like Singed is interesting and weird and funny as hell and the game is better for having him both despite and because of how he and his opponents are forced to play in such a dumb, different way.

      Yeah I don't get the logic either. From what I notice from Vars, he has this tendency to think every character within a certain archetype HAS to play a very specific way and if it doesn't it's badly designed. Singed's Q is such a cool move in terms of how it allows him to interact with creep waves and control enemies that someone calling it "badly designed" is borderline scrub talk if his main complaint is that "I can't just all in him, reeeeeeeeeeeee"

    I think a badly desinged _abilty_ should _primarily_ be about the said ability’s interaction with the rest of the game. Satisfaction and cohasion with the rest of the kit should come later.
    Because a horribly designed ability can still be “fun to use” or “coherent with the champ’s kit” like Akali’s first shroud that hid her from towers. It was _horribly designed_ despite being coherent with the champ’s kit.

      It's fair to say that abilties like Akali's shroud hiding her form towers are worse than the ones described here, but Vars isn't saying these are the worst abilities in the game aside from the one's he's covered. It makes a lot of sense to cover abilities that are still bad but for less serious reasons, otherwise we might never see anyone talk about problems with Yorrick W--it doesn't have serious problems, but it does have problems and it's interesting to talk about minor issues like that. Might not make a super exciting video, but whatever.

    As a yorick main I love his w, once you hit e it is almost a surefire way to hold them
    But a lot of the time you can control much like an anivia where the enemy goes but with allies having freedom to pass, great for disengages or for zoning and a pain to deal with.

      Exactly. And his E isn’t that hard to hit… There’s a certain *way* to hit it consistently that people either don’t know, or don’t try to know, and then claim it as a “easily missable ability”. People don’t understand something then tag it as something negative, discouraging others from actually playing the champion well. No wonder only Yorick Likers can actually the champ correctly.

    I am not a singed main or player but I really like singed's q / poison ability. It encourages me to play league in a different way concretely. It adds some interest and spice to the game, much more so than the gimmicks riot later added such as dancing around Fiora's ult or Jhins and Graves reload mechanics.

      its still bad design has u are meant to run away u are meant to keep yourself out of the enemy range and out of melee making it so some champs actually cant catch u and they take burn damage and slowed for good measure its encouraging u to play another way but if u are against it its just saying "dont bother cashing me unless u have one of the best lockdown or best mobility in the game" has they in most cases in top lane with melee bruiser they will really bother chasing u has they most likely cant

      I agree I like singed being a easy to learn hard to master champ. I don’t like clicking a thousand times a game, I’m not a Korean internet cafe degen and I’m not trying to play cookie clicker so can there just be ONE champ where it’s all movement and mind games? I like his entirely unique play style. There should be more of that. I also always love beating tryhard 12 move combo champs with 2 buttons it tilts their monster drinking asses so hard

      ​@@darkumineru1681 Almost every new mechanic has something like that. Fiora ult basically says "dont bother trying to tank or 1v1 me, unless you can burst me from full to zero in under a few seconds". What makes these mechanics fun is that you learn how to play against them. What makes Singed so unique is that you play against him using minion waves, short trades, and map pressure.
      His q makes him strong if you keep going after him, but his focus on running away from you instead of fighting makes his team, his turret, and his ability to cs under turret vulnerabilities. You threaten his jungler, his mid laner, or if it is early game where he can't run as fast yet you can push him under turret and force him to lose cs and fall behind.
      Basically the game changes from emphasis on mechanics to emphasis on strategy. Something that league already has but a lot of players are ignoring, which is why I like that it forces players to play strategically instead of just trying to style on others.

      I disagree with your take that Jhin's passive is not interesting. It adds a fun rhythm to his combat, forces Jhin to land consecutive shots 4 shots to access a large amount of his damage, while giving him a weakness to champs with a massive HP bar that he can't burn through.

      ​@@hungrymusicwolf thank you, a defensive and strategic playstyle isn't inherently a bad one, and I get why people are annoyed at singed being uninteractive, but he does have big weaknesses, any playstyle that depends on how your enemies react to your presence does.

    My main issues with shaco boxes is that even if you detect it with an oracle melee units can’t destroy the box unless they have a skill shot because the get feared if they try to auto it

Besides that would literally nerf shaco even more, he's literally garbage. One red and a few oracles counter his entire kit I don't get how people still complain about him

      Just dont walk over them? Unless you werent there when they were set up there is no reason why you would step on them that easily.
      And also, this only actually apply to AP shaco, AD shaco doesnt have enough ability haste and points in their box to just spam boxes everywhere. The boxes from AD shaco are not nearly threatening enough to be a problem

      How is that an "issue"? You can counter (ap) Shacos entire kit with a FREE item, and if you need to really slap him, you can do so with a 75 bucks ward. Give me one single other champion that is countered that hard for free (Teemo also loses lots of dmg if you avoid shrooms but he still has good AA dmg and a blind). And for the range thing: You can say the exact same argument to zyra or heimer because no melee unit can attack their turrets/plants without getting hit once.

    something you forgot to mention about Shaco's W that is super toxic I'd argue the most toxic part actually is that if you are a melee champ you literally cannot disarm Shaco box you have to walk into it because scanning it doesn't disable it

      But if your team has at least 2 ranged champions which is almost always the case you can just buy 2 sweepers and Shaco just cant play the game, thats why him and Teemo are so hard to climb with in high elo.

      i say that if mobility becomes more common and potent, then grounds should also be more common. so far i can only thing of two champions who have it: singed and poppy

    As a singed player, I think you miss the point of singed. We like him BECAUSE he's indirect. He's so unique you need to unlearn the whole game to master him. Poison trail is amazing because it's opposite day for league, and it gives us an edge because it breaks normal player brains

    I think some of the choices kinda missed the point of the video - Kled W and Singed Q are might be difficult to play around, but thats exactly what makes them well designed, as they have very high skill expression. Overall good video, but some questionable choices.

      I would be interested in hearing about the counters to his boxes because all I've seen is people saying you can't disarm them even while lensing them and having seen them. You literally have to walk into them, get feared by them and hit by them to disable them.

    Yorick's W is hard to use as every are cc of it's kind has to be. You always can expect morgana's Q and dodge it but it doesn't make it a badly designed ability. You don't use Yorick's W until the enemie is either locked on an animation or alredy fighting you

      agreed and no lie Yorick W is why people wants to play him....there are alot of non dash champion league all of mages, and alot of top and some junglers.... so sett, udyr, singed, morde, nasus, ilaoli, gp, chogath, sion, and ect... so just by maxing out that w on him would neutralize these champs sitting ducks

    I think your view of yorick W is maybe a bit too closeminded in its usage. It might be just a portable wall but that by itself has a lot of uses be it cutting off chokes or cancelling charged abilities. You can even stand in it yourself to help make space against melee enemies. I think that it is a far more impactful and useful ability than you give it credit for

      Only other champs that passes the annoyance he produces are the other classics like Jax, Trynd and Sion.
      And even then Yorick has Belveth Buff. you gain power seeing your little babies tear people apart 🥹

    Kled's W is actually very well designed and is part of his balance. He's unpopular because he's hard, but that doesn't mean W is badly designed. You just have to learn how to engage correctly since he has one of the strongest all-in's in the game.

    That moment when singed tooltip says it does 100 damage per second but a 33% magic damage reduction enemy takes 15-20 damage instead I love playing singe so much, especialy when you have 3 items and get instakilled by a 1 item Yi because he presses E and you get hit for 1500 true damage...

    As a Yorick enjoyer the main point of his W is that it blocks the autopathing completly. Since everyone always clicks on you to move when you block the way they instantly turn around, just like with anivia ^^

    I forget if you've already discussed it but...veigar's cage. It's literally a big part of why he is my least favorite champion. It's just a better version of another champion's ULT.
    It traps you in this tiny area where it's hard to dodge all the skill shots flying at you and if you fail to dodge one you get stunned and one shot anyway, and oh you thought you could just dash over it with something like tristana w? No it technically goes all the way up so no you are 100% stuck.

    Hard disagree on the singed ability. Here we have an actual unique way to attack an opponent and one that’s been in the game since 2009 and still, it’s somehow viable and in the game and not overbearing. Just because it’s not interactive does not make it a bad ability, annoying does not equal bad or you could make a case for every single ability in the game

    Singed is a well designed champ.
    He runs around. Goes in, disrupts.
    Jarvan's shield used to be OP on release. It's not badly designed, just a matter of numbers. J4's been gutted throughout the years.

      "Running around" and disrupting don't make a good champion. Singed has a very simple gameplay loop that mostly revolves around flipping people into poison and running away. It's not very fun to play because singed isn't popular even though he isn't weak, and it isn't fun to play against because people complain about signed pretty regularly for an unpopular champion. Singed isn't weak, but he isn't well designed. A well designed champion is fun to play as and against, but most players don't find Singed fun at all.
      Which is a bit of a shame, he's got an interesting design and could mix up the game really nicely if he was a little better designed.

    When I first dropped a skin for Yorick, I played him for the first time ever. I had taken down nexus towers at 14th minute, enemy team started flaming "you should enjoy the game, tryhard" etc. I went on a couple of more games, mostly bullying people on top lane, then I got a Jax matchup. Of he didn't give a single f to my W, I so terribly lost that game I didn't touch Yorick for a while again.

    As a Yorick OTP i find the Wall a very useful and fairly easy to use ability. Your point about "if you miss the E you will miss the wall" is mute because if you miss the E, your not getting ghouls to attack, meaning you are missing a massive portion of your damage, making walling someone pointless as it wont really help you.
    Aside from working very well with E, you can use it against slow champions like mord, as well as a general wall to block chokes, cover retreats (especially covering a retreating maiden), slow down an enemy whose trying to all in you (very good against jungle ganks) or to punish champions who use their dash to engage.
    Its a pretty good ability with alot of use cases. (You can also use it to make nunu players cry as it destroys their snowball lol)

      @@novaseer Yes, but you can use it pre-6, any time you know their ult is on cool down, or if you build quick silver. While the main strategy to win the mord matchup is to put 3 points in W and never place it until they R you, it doesn't mean there isn't others times you can use it. In such scenarios, it's very easy to wall mord due to his very slow movement speed.

    Hi Vars, I really like your videos. The only ability i would not agree with is the one from Singed. I mean, i understand what you said, but i do think that is not only Ok but desirable to have abilities that contradict with the main state/mentality of the game right now (that is actually based on direct confrontation), specially for Anti-carries, Enchanters and, obviously, specialists such as Singed. The ability is what makes singed unique and do have a lot of counterplay to it (i mean, any CC makes him not able to move which counters this ability, reducing to almost zero its pressure). I guess it does offer an almost unfair advantage for champions without CC, but a lt of champions have unfair advantage against Singed, so it maybe cause him to be kind of situational. I still think it is a well designed ability though. Kogmaw on the other hand.... Oh my gosh, sometimes i even forget that he has a passive.

    As a Yorick main kinda funny how you find the best part of his kit to be the badly designed one..
    Sure Ghouls, Maiden have bad AI, He technically has no passive since Q is used for graves and you can't even make graves once maiden is out but..
    W is still his best tool because it's very versatile in how you can use it, granted it can be frustrating since it's range is short and cast time is long and is almost useless in some matchups..

    As a Yorick main, I'd like to say that his W is honestly great and adds a lot of skill expression to him.
    Yorick's W is a great offensive and defensive ability that opens a bunch of opportunities for him to both engage and disengage. It is also a great zoning tool and even a pushing one too.
    A few uses for Yorick's W that I'd like to note:
    -Trapping an enemy to prevent escape and/or make landing his E easier.
    -Trapping an enemy to prevent them from engaging on Yorick or chasing him down.
    -Blocking off an entire opening in terrain to prevent rotations and ganks.
    -Surrounding the maiden to prevent enemies from attacking her.
    -Placing it under turret to absorb an entire turret shot to allow your ghouls and minions to deal a small amount of extra damage.
    -Stopping enemy recalls by placing the edge on them.
    There might be a few uses I missed, but I delivered the general idea I had in mind. The only time this ability feels bad is when you're up against a high mobility champion that can simply dash around like its nothing or a champion with auto resets that allow them to instantly break the wall early on. Usually, you want to max this 2nd instead of your E to let the wall last longer, but in situations where the enemy doesn't care about it, you don't.

    If yorick w was easy to hit it would be straight up broken. It preety much guarantees a E hit, which is a lot of dmg. You cant give a stat stick a reliable way to start a fight. Otherwise you have hecarim

    On the matter of Singeds Q.
    The ability may be badly designed when it comes to conforming to the playstyle of most other champions, but it is also what makes him unique.
    His way of hit and run and indirect confrontation is so very different from most other champions in the game that it would feel refresing if it wasn't so frustrating to play him.
    Personally, I would not even want to change his q, or his run down playstyle, but rather his cirumstances.
    The worst part about playing him is usually being forced into the kind of direct confrontation he likes to avoid on toplane, because it is easy to do so in a constrained lane setting, especially for champions that excel in these kinds of things and before he has items that solve his many weaknesses.
    Which is why, instead of changing his q or kit entirely, I would simply prefer it to increase his q dmg against monsters, thus making him a jungler, which would not just solve his crippling mana problems early, but also make it far easier to avoid direct confrontation when you are not ready as well as farm when your team has even a bit of early pressure.
    Even more so, when you consider that his high mobility and safe crowd control are great for ganking and his poison trail far more effective in the constrained pathway of the jungle.
    So, please riot, make him 68% less degenerate by making him a jungler.

    Well, as a J4 main, I love his W for the slow. The shield is the secondary effect, for me.
    Kog'Maw's passive could be modified like this: When Kog'Maw's HP drop below 10%, he becomes invulnerable for 1/2/3 seconds (upgraded in levels 8/13) and moves freely. After the effect, a blast of true damage is unleashed around him in a short radius.
    So you have a great escape tool instead of a useless suicide passive.

    I'm surprised Fizz's E (trickster) hasn't showed up in this series yet.
    It's an ability that: 1) has 2 separate redirectionable dashes, 1.5) that can pass through walls; 2) becomes untargetable, 3) deals AOE damage, 4) deals AOE slow (even if a short one), 5) with nice AP ratio's, 6) and all of that on a short 8s (or less) cooldown.
    You could pick 3 of these isolated points alone and they would already make for a good ability. As it is it's just oversaturated.

    As an ex kled main, I think that Kleds W is absolutely a well designed ability, you essentially said he has too much countercplay to his W. It's a key part to Kleds skill expression and very much relates to his character. It's a difficult ability to master and I don't think that if it were an activatable ability I would love him nearly as much. I don't mind my champ having uncontrolable obvious windows of vulnerability, that's where his depth comes from.

      @@raidenesp1096 I get the sentiment but the point is that it's supposed to be something you don't have much control over, you play smartly around when you can or can't go with W, it's pretty much the difference between being good or bad at the champ.
      Also I think it's kind of a cute way to work the champions character into their kit, it's literally his sporadic and uncontrollable violent tenancies that you have to play around.

    I maintain that HOTS handled the implementation of an ability like Kog's passive infinitely better. One its on Tyrael, who is a tank. Two everyone hit deals something like 50% reduced damage for a few seconds. Three everyone hit also lowers his death timer. That last one could be huge if it was added to Kog

    Veigar's cage. Such an uninteractive ability. Discourages engage or rushdown. Just e and walk away. If flashless, blinkless or spellshieldless you are a sitting duck. Sure veigar has no mobility, but you can't catch him either if you don't have very specific tools to catch him. veigar has one of the best cc and defencive tool on an infinite scaling champ.

    I actually think Kled's W is a greatly designed ability... it's actually a minigame where you can choose to give up a minion to keep the ability and trade, and/or your opponent can capitalize on the fact that you used it on a minion to trade
    In a way, its very similar to gp's passive(in that he can waste it on minions), or fiora's passive(where she can give a minion or two to go back and reset the mark - and you can do the same)

    I always felt like Yoricks Procession should give a little speed boost when he passes through it, like Jayce's Gate. This would make it to where he gains a little bit of sticking power even on a miss and diversifies its utility when enemies are out of range.

    Looking at abilities in a vacuum gives a less realistic look at what they really do. Caits trap seems weak compared to shacos box until you consider that you can't kill cait traps even if she places them right in front of you, so she can hard deny area rather than shaco who loses when enemies learn to buy a control ward.

    My biggest frustration with shaco box is that once it disappears after 1 or 2 seconds of being placed you can’t hit it with skillshots so you need sweeper or control wards if you want to go through it without tanking it.

    I would like to input Fizz's E, having untargetability on a dash that also deals damage on command, on an eight second cooldown lategame, for barely any mana at all means you can dodge anything thrown at you for free and then jump in/out to deal damage and do your combo when their is expended or just jump over a wall to escape for free.

    as a shaco main i think that the real problem with shaco's w is the duration of the fear, for example qiyana also have 2 stuns in her R and the ¿Q? i think, when she has the ice augment but the stun of the Q is short and the R is pretty skill based, shaco can have u in basically a 5 second stun if he times correctly his boxes and his R, that's way too much time for a asassin to have, but with all that i think that is a good ability in paper, it's just the execution that is lame xd

      Nothing about the ability is designed badly , even in the scope of the video he never says how its DESIGNED bad for the character. Just that its 'broken and overpowered!!' , that doesn't mean its designed badly tho? Idk some of this is taken out of context and in an actual league of legends match if you've played against or with a shaco: the boxes if not ap are normally useless just mild annoyances (how the character is supposed to be). They get destroyed in a teamfight instantly before the fear pops off unless he placed them in advance in which case most people scan and someone on the team oneshots it therefore creating an effectively useless ability.
      Then again i play in low diamond so maybe its different but i doubt it is tbh. He's just annoying champ - as he's supposed to be. But badly designed ?? A bit weird take imo. Just simply stating the 'upper potential' (like stacking boxes and getting super cc) doesn't mean it ever really happens in games. And if it DOES - thats 100% a skill issue like chasing singed lmao. The ability isnt the problem at that point. But again this is all opinionated and here to make a conversation happen so ah well haha.

    The yi just made me think of the long cooldown that bel vet's move has in comparison.
    It also made me think how she's kinda underwhelming rn, and how we originally thought she was going to be this minion master empress.
    Well, what if she could spawn her children at E anytime based on a passive? She could be reworked to have her little voiding come out after her E so it has more use! Just a thought...

    12:52 and 13:12... Those two clips really filled me with a grave anger at seeing Yi do this, partially since it's so common but _really_ doesn't feel like it's supposed to be.
    Or maybe it's just my gamer-PTSD in how many times the opposing team's Yi just 1v9's by way of facerolling his keyboard.

    I feel like you could change kleds w to work similar to gnar transform, maybe like: it activates always after 4 attacks in quick sucession, or you can activate it with e/q. That would keep the theme of "angry outburst" of the ability but would make it more usable.

    Sejuani's W uses her weapon, prevents her from landing basic attacks, deals physical damage, but somehow it scales with AP instead of AD

    Jarvan's case reminds me a bit of Chamber from Valorant - J4's shield sucks because his other abilities are so good. Chamber has 2 abilities that are very underwhelming/weaker versions of other abilities and 2 that are insanely powerful in a hands of skilled player. If you're good at aiming, you basically never have to buy any weapon ever, because his pistol is dead accurate, has no damage fall-off and instakills on headshots, while his sniper rifle is similar to the one that instakills on body shots and you can buy for hefty amount of credits, which is risky because if you die not only you lose the credits, but also enemy can pick it up. However Chamber's rifle cannot be picked up so it's risk free. In addition, because he doesn't have to buy weapons for himself, he can instead buy them for his teammates, which is very valuable. I didn't understand it at first, but it dawned on me why his other 2 abilities suck so badly - because they have to, otherwise he would be a menace to fight against.

    Teemo entire kit:
    P:do nothings for AS and invis, can only move in brush...happy infernal dragon.
    Q: dmg and Blind slightly more range than his aa. No not Quinn blind, or Graves kind of blind, but just no aa blind. Abilities hurt normally.
    W: Move faster when not hit, on press move fast for 3s.
    E: Twitch passive, slightly better.
    R: cleansable Shrooms that don't count to vision score. Shaco box minus Fear but longer duration.
    One could move his E into a Passive, P could be fused with W, and this would open up a new E ability.
    FYI Akshan's Passive:
    DIRTY FIGHTING
    Every three hits from Akshan's Attacks and Abilities deals bonus damage and grants him a Shield if the target was a champion.
    When Akshan Attacks, he fires an additional Attack for reduced damage.
    If he cancels the additional Attack, he instead gains Move Speed.

    I'm a kog main and its kinda disappointing how people assure with such confidance changes to fix the passive's issues, when the passive itself is the problem. You wont fix the fact that a hypercarry has to die to use it by adding some scailing, by making it easier to land nor increasing the damage.
    I can't even say it is worth it the funny moments because there were so many times where i almost killed a champion but couldnt, moments where even flat additional damage on auto attacks could have made the difference.

    I love how Master Yi is so similar ot Chipp Zanuff from Guilty Gear series being a ninja glass cannon rush down they both literally have alpha named strikes with alpha blade from Chipp and alpha strike from Yi

    Teemo in wild rift indeed has that skill as a dash
    He also can go on camouflage (instead of invisible) upon command
    His poison darts are passive

    One of the worst designed abilities you should talk about is veigar r. It point and click that has insane scaling and coupled with his passive becomes a death sentence for any squishy in mid and late game. A champion designed to get infinite ap shouldn’t have a point and click ability with high scaling

    i think kled's w is great to characterize kled. kled's playstyle is "me go in" and an ability that basically forces you to trade while its up is one of the best ways to include a character's personality in gameplay and therefore a core part of his gameplay.
    it's like saying jhin's passive is bad because he has to reload, which gives enemies a timer to kill him.
    if you want to be good at the champion(s), you need to learn how to play around it. kled is a great example because players come up with tricks like not skilling W until it's needed for the first time. that way you avoid losing your main damage for a large part of early lane.

    I would love it if they added the dash to Teemo's W. To balance it they might have to drop the actually move speed bonus a bit, at least on the active, but it would make him feel a lot more like the agile scout he's supposed to be, as opposed the bouncing hamster we see on most of his older skins
