Milo Sylvestro released a video where he sings Dielectric. The video has since been taken down but it was very solid. Milo is reminiscent of Rob Trujillo. The fans are a little surprised, at first, then after a while everyone loves him. I have the feeling that he will bring a very nice breath of fresh air to FF. And Dino clearly knows what he's doing.

That's the problem...he is way too nice as it seems. I'm afraid he has a weak stage presence...not on the same level as Burton.

As a long time FF fan since I was 11; as much as it sucks BCB is no longer in the band but i'm still happy FF still moving forward because they will always be my fav band. BCB chose to leave for reasons of his own. I've heard Milo's cover of "Dielectric" & it sounds near perfect. I say we welcome it with open arms & see how he does live.
Everyone has and will have their won opinion, but I agree with you on Milo's performance of Dielectric. I thought it was very, very good. Not to mention English being his second language. Once he practices and performs FF tracks, it will be that much better.
So excited for future of Fear Factory with Milo.

45 minutes for Fear Factory while Static-X gets a full set? I know it's not the classic FF line-up but come on. It should be at least a co-headliner. Static-X had commercial success with their first album, but what did they do that was innovative or influential?

Milo kills the FF songs! I saw FF back in 1996 when they opened for Iron Maiden in Minneapolis MN, and they got the crowd pumped. I look forward to them coming back here and seeing Milo slay!

Jasta was talking about cioppino. It's a big Christmas dish on the coast. It originated in San Francisco.
This makes me excited to listen to Fear Factory again. Not listened to them for years as Burton’s voice live was awful and the quality of their material declined for me. Milo sounds amazing from the live footage I’ve heard. Looking forward to new material and will be seeing them live next time they tour the U.K.

I imagine the first handful of shows will be tough which sucks because people will be all over him before he even hits his stride. I think he will do just fine..Will be looking for streams or vids this saturday I believe that is the first show
Yeah and he also looks too weak, no badassery...I mean I'm not sure he has a great stage presence to control the audience or put them on fire. He looks too much like a normal and good italian guy who still lives with his parents. Anyway....we will see.
@Nacho Cheese Doritos Yeah, you are probably right. I hope so. Burton's vocals are not what they used to be (we all know it), Milo is way better from that point of view...it's just Milo's stage presence is kinda too funny to me (idk).

idk....I have the feeling Milo has not such a great stage presence (maybe I'm wrong), not charismatic as Burton to really control and put the audience on fire. I hope Dino is right regarding Milo, I have my doubts🤔...we will see and hear in live shows.

Dino has a good ear so I trust he picked someone that will sound great. Obviously replacing such an “iconic” or well established voice would not be easy but Maiden did it successfully so it is possible…

Burton C. Bell is the voice and face of Fear Factory.
Dude. He was, after he decided to leave Dino gave him an open door to return, and he chose not to. Which is ok, im a dedicated FF fan/Burton fan as well, but all good things come to an end at times. This dude has a hell of a voice on him, and people need to give a legitimate chance, not just hear one song, and say nah this ain't it. Dino picked him for a reason clearly. Dino is FF, he would always make the right choice for the band going forward.
@@michaelcampos7811 Burton's voice got me through high school, the military police academy, feeling alone at my first base overseas, and deployments. I like to remember Fear Factory how they were. Band ended when Burton left IMO.

@@morbidcorpse5954I think it’s just beginning a new chapter, and I am a long time fan. This band is insane is very much responsible for the clean and distorted vocal style of metal today. I literally started listening to them when demanufacture came out and I was in high school. So I love Burtons vocals but if this is how they will continue I am looking forward to the future of Fear Factory, with the new guy. He definitely has already proved himself. Sounds awesome.
