How I Wash My Jeep Wrangler

- We enjoy taking care of our jeeps, and intend them to be investments made forever. This isn't your typical "detail" video.. This is just how we wash our jeeps after wheeling. In this video we show the basics on how to clean the mud and dirt out/off to keep it looking like new. As I mentioned in the video, we do get under the jeep sometimes with a tire brush and de-greaser to scrub any build up of mud/dirt and rinse off with water as needed. We also do all of the other small things as well.. Like, cleaning the windows and all of your other basic car wash methods.

I take my lifted 2013 2-Door Wrangler offroad and one of the things I find very relaxing is cleaning it after a day of going offroad. I figure by washing and cleaning it, I can inspect for damage and keep it well protected against the elements. I feel having a clean vehicle has a pride of ownership element to it. Your lifted Jeep is among my favorite Jeeps on youtube.
After I enjoy an off road adventure, I always wear the mud embedded with insects, twigs, deer bones, shallow grave human remains, and rocks for one day to show off the results. The next day I do something very similar to what you are doing, then I run it through a standard car wash. This method has done well for me since 1996. I have grown old with my Jeep over the decades. But I still love our outings together as if it were the first time we went out.
A two door that’s clean and goes off road?...love it!
LOL
Your jeep is so awesome! I take my 2 door off road and on trails, and afterwards, I enjoy washing and cleaning it after going on the trails. It's a pride of ownership, and also by doing a deep cleaning, it allows us to do a close up inspection of all the components, which in turn can hopefully ward off any potential issues on the trail. Your 2 Door jeep is one of the best looking that I've seen on UA-cam, looks so rugged, yet so well maintained, and that's awesome!
That is one badass 2 door! Nicely done.
Love your attention to detail!!! Gorgeous rig!!!! Love the direction your taking it!!
Wow thats good of you i will never do that cuz i 4 wheel every other week and im not doing all that lol
But dude thats great ur jeep loves u
I mean i detail my jeep a lot but i never took the tires wheels off for a wash or detail
Super clean!! 😍
Just looking at your jeep I would say it’s a mall crawler.... but watching some of your videos you really use it... pretty cool keeping it so clean after wheeling it...
Your my favorite jeep channel
Looking clean 👌🏼🤘🏼
Wow, looking good!
Holy crap..a video with a 2 door..(nothing wrong with 4 doors). Nice jeep. Glad to see you take care of it. Good job. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
Awesome video bro!
Dude thank you, this is the best looking jeep period.
Bad ass Jeep man! That thing is gorgeous!👌🏼
great job. keep up the vids
Nice video. Good job keeping the Jeep clean!
Sick Jeep brother!
Great jeep...very cool💪💪💪
Impressive, cleaning is practically a hobby when taken to this degree. I remove the bulk mud in 10 minutes so it doesn't rust and then move on in life. I'd rather wheel 2 days versus 1 day and clean the next. Sometimes I wish I had the patience to do this!
Is there actually any reason to remove surface dirt (like where you point out behind the shock) other than for appearance? As long as it's not caked on mud it's not really going to trap liquid).
Wow.... really impressed. You’re super committed to keeping that thing clean. I watched your sway bar disconnect video and noticed how clean it was. I thought there’s no way you take this Jeep off road. Then I saw your trail ride videos. So I had to watch this one to see how you get it so clean... btw, you’re in my area. Might catch you at a Shelby Off Road ride.
That's one amazing Jeep.
Man loves his jeep. Respect.
finally a lovely 2 door Jk video!. thats the way al 2 door JK should be look like!!
Nice Jeep! I don’t think I’ve washed mine since I’ve bought it... 3 years ago!
Since buying my lifted 2 Door 2013 JK, I've watched many Jeep videos, and your jeep is among my favorite jeeps that I've watched on UA-cam by far. I think is great that you keep it so well maintained and clean too, and by doing so, you'll encounter a lot less problems on/off the road, since during cleaning, you'll be able to spot any potential issues. I enjoy taking my jeep off road in the Washington State cascades, but I also find cleaning and detailing the jeep after each run very relaxing and enjoyable, as its a hobby of mine. In addition, I've been able to correct a few potential issues in the process of cleaning before they became problems. Your Jeep is so awesome, that I have saved several of your videos in my Favorites.
Nive Jeep. I have a two door Jeep with manual windows and locks. Love it.
Nice Jeep bro
Nice rig!
My Jeep stays pretty filthy through the winter mainly because we don't salt the roads so don't have to worry about that. I must say you have more patience than me when it comes to washing and cleaning looks like that jks ready for SEMA!
That's some serious love, right there. :)
Incorrect usage of grammar, however, I shall allow it since I love my Rubicon too.
Love you’re Jeep
Are you going to modify your tire rack like you had mentioned , possibly removing tubing to give it a cleaner look
Looks so clean! you really went crazy taking the wheels off hahaha. What tires are those?
I see you changed the head lights too. Beautiful ride.
Fender Cutting Game is on point. Every time I see your cut fenders I get an itch to cut mine. And then I think mmm maybe NOT...
SPARE TIME VIDEOS I cut mine in my black 16 jk but nit that much. Still looks cool , to each his own. 😎👍🏼
The painted fenders cut real short look better than the short flat metal fenders you buy. I cut my 4 door fenders and everyone NOT to big into jeeps asks were did you get those fenders.
Wheel Hard, Clean Harder! That's what i always say!
Hell of a nice jeep bro, I took mine out about a week ago and the engine bay got some mud on it, how do you suggest going about cleaning that?
Clean 👌🏽
Have you ever thought about installing different muffler? I just installed magnaflow on mine it makes a huge difference 🙂
Where did you get the passenger airbag handle caddy type thing?
That bih clean😁
Might be a dumb question but, would it be bad to bring it to an automatic car wash? will it water damage anything under the hood?
Did you re-torque down all of your wheel spacers to spec
Sry I have a similar question. First of all nice jeep man. Really clean build. Just wondering why your running spacers at all if you could have got the proper backspacing when choosing your rims??
Intrinsic Off-road . That makes sence. I never considered that they might not make them in that offset. Thanks for the quick feedback!
Nice! What Simple Green product do you use on the undercarriage?
What pressure washer are you using? Electric? Gas?
Sweet rig bro. Are the Track Bar and Drag Link after market? I also like to keep my Jeep clean. I get knocked for it a lot lol
What headlights are those
Wow looks like you did a wax job on it, very nice
I use wd40 to make my inner fender liners look new and it helps wash mud off if applied before a trip off-road like the videos
Just got back from a 3 week overlanding trip. thinking bout pulling off the skid plates to clean behind them. Never pulled the gas tank skid off have you?
please can you say what type of jeep this is like the full name would love to get one
This is literally my dream build when i get my car in couple years
What lift and size tires are you running?
How do you have no rust anywhere? Do you paint over it? @Intrinsic Off-road
your Pitman arm points forward,, ( i think ) that is unusual, which model / year of TJ is that ? ta.
What size tire and rim are you running ?
what gears are you running with those 37's?
What wheel spacers you running?
I would like to see putting tires back on. Have to be heavy or do U have special method??
So it takes 2 people?
This was 3.5in RK springs right?
what year is your jeep?
Nice JK man! What are the specs on that lift?
thank you, I ended up finding this video right after I posted.. I subbed, great build man!
Hey were did you get them fenders?
Thanks bro. They look good.
Nice Jeep ..how much lift & tires ?
Intrinsic Off-road
Thanks
This is why I would never buy black car except Jeep Wrangler. You can just pressure wash it and it will look like new again. Try to do same with any other car. After single car wash people swear not to buy black color cars anymore. Great job buddy!
The 2 doors are the real jeeps
Clean
Mamalón junto con la casa jajajaja
Can we see more of the Jeep in the background
Girl friend looks annoyed or jealous not sure which lol
My Jeep need a undercarriage cleaning like that
Aaaand your clear coat for undercarriage is gone .. light pressure wash is all you need
Lol just Jeep owner things
You spend all this money on upgrades but mats Get some weather tech
Burnt Taco he just got some bud
Dude, leave it muddy and hit another puddle...lol...
WOW a 2 door!!! This is great!!! Tired of all the 4 door bus vids. Only thing is keep those Jack stands under axil or your gonna learn a terrible lesson. I have a black 2 door. Take a buffer and some polish to it. You'll be shocked at the shine you can get. Look on auto geeks website
Exactly! Sheesh, so sick of seeing those 4 doors, they're so ugly & disproportionate lol. 2dr Wranglers are way better looking. But I still love my 2dr xj.
dirty Wrangler looks kinda cuter though.....
Nice Jeep but I’ve got to say it. “Pavement Queen”!!!! That’s not that much mud. Granted I do the same thing if I hit the mud; however you could plant a garden in heap of mud that I wash off of and out from under my Jeep. Here in Florida we’ve got bottomless pits of peat mud. It will turn a pavement driveway into a dirt road.
No problem man. Don't forget to wash the hard to reach places like in the frame, in the holes under the rocker panel, top of the skid plates, and in between the skid plate and the gas tank. Rust is no joke in jeeps.
It was not that dirty to begin with
Great Jeep but do us all a favour and blow your snotty nose!........ It's not a good sound.
