Thank you so much for your instructional videos. I've learned a lot . I'm a new microgreen grower in the north east. Do you treat the arugula again with hydrogen peroxide mixture after it's out of germination and starting to grow its leaves?
We don’t grow sunflower often but we could easily do a video. Where are you getting your seed? That’s the big issue we’ve seen with sunflower. Poor seed quality. We get our sunflower from Johnny seed as well 😊
Thanks for getting back to me. Thanks for your awesome videos. I live in South Dakota and I’m at a full rack in sales now. I’m not looking back and moving forward and have the desire to be a first in vertical farming. Planning to apply for some grants. Any info you are willing to share would be appreciated! Thanks
I live in a humid environment where fungal issues are a staple. I'm interested in the Zerotol product. I read that it biodegrades within a day or so. In your experience and expertise, is this food safe? Thank you!
You say you hand water arugula. Do you measure or do you use a hose? Also, where did you get those spray bottles? I had 1 brand burst open on me 2x with h2o2 in it that was just sitting for a few days unused. Thx and keep up the great work!
We use 2L jugs to hand water and we do it by feeling. We get our spray bottles on amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B07L4Q3MVY?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_ab-ac-bia_nk_11_12_kp1ap0&=&crid=W95ADF8VKDC6&sprefix=garden%2Bspray&th=1
It varies crop to crop and we have a whole formulation of seed weight per crop. You have to figure out what works vest for you in your grow environment.
@@tinyleafmicrogreenfarm thanks for the help and also the videos. Only growing for myself here in Florida but would love one day to do more than feed me and the family 😂
We are required to sanitize all equipment with GAPs protocol before harvesting any crops we sell. Which would also include personal protective equipment (which we do not wear in these videos). These crops are for demonstration purposes, we took them home to enjoy ourselves. Thank you
cant wait for more videos!!!! we needed this in the microgreens community
Thank you Sarah! We’re excited to help others as many farmers helped us along the way ❤️🌱

More videos please.
Should be uploading more soon
How many ounces do you get from a full tray? Great videos! Thanks!
It's a smaller Yielding crop. We dont weigh our micros. we do volume.

amazing! how often do you water and what is your light schedule? when do you turn off the lights? thank you!!
Water as needed if hand watering every day. Depends on your humidity and airflow in your grow. Light cycle 16 hours on 8 hours off.
Can you tell us what is the proportion of the sanitation mixes? Hidrogen and xilytol, and water
Follow the recommended guidelines from the bottle and mix accordingly.

It is ok to use in your production of microgreens. We also grow in a humid environment
Thanks for video! What size container is that? Could you provide a link to it please?
We purchase our 32oz clamshells from Webstruant store online. check them out.

one last question what nutrients do you use for your microgreens
We use Ocean solution and we use Maxigrow in our ebb and flows.
@@tinyleafmicrogreenfarm do you use this on all your crops? Not Gaia?
If there’s a video on this pardon me… but wondering how you choose how many seeds of each plant you put in one flat?! 😊
It varies crop to crop and we have a whole formulation of seed weight per crop. You have to figure out what works vest for you in your grow environment.
Where do you purchase those packets you put un the clam shell for moisture?
its a company in Texas called Aptar google them

may I ask you just pour the 3% HP put of the bottle and into the sprayer at 3%
no we use 2oz per spray bottle and the spray bottles are 1.36 gallons so its a diluted mixture.
I love it but it's "sow" not "sew."
Good eye. Appreciate the feedback.
You should clean your knife properly after "sharpening" it. Especially if you sell the crop
