Expanded Clay. Expanded clay is a popular grow medium. ...
Peat Moss. Peat moss is a relatively inert organic grow medium. ...
      Coco Coir.
      Gravel
      Rockpool
      Sand.
      Perlite.
      Vermiculite.
These are some of the hydroponic growth medium can be used u can also use 100 percent organic tissue paper too
Which do not any any chemicals or bleaching agents.
      Thanks 😊
      Good luck

The first time I tried this was with the same kind of containers you have but with lentils. I can't believe how many microgreens you get with just a quarter cup! And they're sweet and nutty tasting to! I didn't use any tissue or soil at all. I just soak the seeds for a full day until they sprouted their little Tails spread them in the container, and then flood washed them like you did once or twice a day kept them in the dark for about six days till they got fairly tall, and then put them in the Sun for a few days to get green! I can't believe with this way I could wash it out completely pull it all apart, and with just a quarter cup I got a large colander full of microgreens, roots and all, that can be eaten and taste good too!;-)

@@upscalehealth I did notice that they tend to get a little fibrous when they're grown to this length. But that's not a big deal, I just cut them up with scissors into one or two inch pieces when I need to use them.

Your chia seeds may produce mucirofibrils roots which might look like fungus growth
      So don’t get confused

I wonder what is more expensive, paper tower or soil lol.. I have a feeling paper tower is. also wondering if the plants might be taking it tiny particles of soaked paper tower into its roots as food.
