I’m about to buy 2021 CT in Vancouver 🇨🇦 Dealer says first service is $600 !
$600 for an oil change, fluid check, nuts and bolts check, and a valve adjustment ??!
I don’t begrudge covering shops costs and a reasonable profit but that sounds excessive for something that can’t possibly take more than 90 minutes and will surely be done by the apprentice. Am I wrong? Love your channel and if I lived anywhere near you I would be a customer for sure 😀

Pricing varies depending on where one is located. Different areas in the United States have different labor rates and I am sure Canada is the same. What I will say is a proper first service will be about 2.5 hours labor plus materials. Valves should be checked. We replace the valve cover gaskets and the seal washers on the drain plugs as well. Oil cost can varies depending on if synthetic is used. All of this plus tax. I hope this helps.

What are the valves adjusted to for a 2005 Ural Tourist? Nice video and a refresher for me, since I am just now getting back into Uraling. Lots has changed since I had my first '05 Troyka to play on. ;-)
