This video takes me back to my childhood days! I watched both Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer and was ABSOLUTELY drawn into the adventures. Boy! The plots were rich and the CGI was amazing too for its period! ❤🔥
The use of this channel is just amazing takes me back to when I was first programmed, I mean born, yes born, I am a human, and I like human thing like presented in this video which was clearly made by my fellow humans who enjoy this subject
Honestly, with so many adventures and powerful foes, it's hard to fathom why more entries weren't brought to the screen. Always a favorite of mine. Those were the days.
Great video, but can't really say it's Every Conan villain. I have a massive collection of Conan comics (around 500+) including Savage sword of Conan, Conan the Barbarian, King Conan, Conan the King, plus newer series. And I'm also a fan of the 90s cartoon Conan the Adventurer (Conan and the Young Warriors SUCKS) I would've liked to see villains like Wraith-Amon, Mesmira, and Skulkur.
Good video, but you neglected to mention the villains from the animated series, Conan the Adventure. If you can given an honorable mention to the obscure Changeling from SSoC #73, then I think you can squeeze a minute or two for Wrath-Amon, Ram-Amon, and Set.
Excellent video, but you forgot the Immortal Wizard Tzotha Lanthi, The Circke of the Nine, Akheru and the Demon Imothep, who later became a Conan's ally.
im so confused at krom actualy helping, this is the first ive heard of it, its cool tho, just weird, i thought he was the silent god that doesnt answer prayers. altho i know most of the mythos from lovecrafts side
I was a kid and had to sneak into Conan the Barbarian after paying for something else. I loved the movie, but then I read the source material. The problems I had with the films were the characterization of Conan(that in both films his primary motivation was 1; vengeance for his family, a tired overused trope, instead of simply adventure. And 2; (Destroyer) to reanimate his dead girlfriend, something Howard’s character would kill you for suggesting. The way the films portrayed him as kinda dumb, as opposed to the books that showed him as clever and curious, learning many languages, political systems, lore and martial skills and strategy, often outsmarting his enemies. The casting of a bodybuilder who could not move the way REH wrote the character, using descriptions like pantherish and agile. The depictions of his weapon being basically a sharp club instead of a broadsword. The poor depiction of Thoth Amon, the most dangerous villain in the Hyborian age. I really liked Momoa’s casting and some parts of the story, but they repeated several mistakes from the original (you killed my father now you must die bs, clunky weapons and saving the world) should have leaned into his adventurous spirit more. My hope is that in the future someone will just use the source material and follow it as it is simply better storytelling and basically a script for a five season HBO series of twelve episodes each. They must ignore the Comics (unless they are adapted from the original stories) and in particular the original films and the remake.
You guys make some ok vids but you're often lacking in perception. It wasn't an unknown cult in Conan the Barbarian, it was the Cult of Set, the Snake God. It's even mentioned in the movie. FFS!
Does the narrator of the video even know what he is talking about???🙄 In the novella queen Taramis wasn't evil, but her twin sister Salome. Salome was a witch and main villain of the novel. Taramis in the movie was basically Novell's Salome, although the plot of the movie was totally different from Novell.

By Crom this video is absolutely marvellous! ⚔️😎⚔️
Conan came out in 1932. So he's around even before Superman and Batman made their debuts, wow.
Brilliant content and has reawaken the thought of what it would have been like to see Conan "Become King by his own Hand." Thank you
Those are all the interesting enemies that the barbarian face throughout his history.
I play Conan Exiles constantly, this was great content in my opinion. 👍 ❤️ ✌️
Conan! What is best in life?
"To watch Marvelous videos, read the comments before you, and see the lamentations of lesser videos!"
That is good

There's also the tragic villain Wind-fang
Queen Taramis, deadliest Conan Villain who i will not mind fighting one on one. she is hot as hell and most hottest ancient villain alive.
The actress, Sarah Douglas, also played the villainess Ursa in Superman The Movie and Superman II.
Wow nice
Read everything Howard I could get my hands on when I was a kid still have the novels and crack them open to this day from time to time
You left out the villain from the animated series "Conan the Adventurer"
I wish Arnold would have continued with more Conan stories! I cant picture anyone else in his place!
Good video but you forgot his enemies from the 2011 reboot
Hmmm, I wonder if that might have been intentional lol

Wrath-Amon is missing.

Xaltotun was probably Conan's greatest enemy,my favorite book is the hour of the dragon.
Wow
The snake cult is not unnamed in the movie. It is stated at one point that it is the 'Cult of Set'.

Conan The Destroyer should have focused on Zula and Bombaata. They can always film that movie today.
Always wanted Aronld as conan the king and Jason Momia as his son conn.
I wonder if Steve Reeves played Conan the Barbarian also
Grace Jones gave Arnold crabs
I thought crom doesn't interact with the world. 😳
Damn Olivia dabo was one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. Wow. 😜😜😜❤️

Then, AND THEN!...you go and acknowledge it later in the video. Whoever researched this and/or wrote this needs to be fired.
Only highly educated people know about Set outside of Stygia.
@@schwarzerritter5724 doesn't change that fact they missed an obvious truth from the movie.

So if thulsa doom was An all powerful wizard and traveling across dimensions etc how could Conan take him out so easily? So much for all powerful 🙄
The Year Of Skull & Bones: MMA Fighter Victoria Lee Dead At 18 Years Old (CAUSE OF DEATH UNKNOWN???)
The Live Action TV Series was Terrible.
Olgerd vladislav
Who would win, the children of doom or children of dune?
No mention of kang the conquerer from the marvel books where he is brought through time.
Ursa from Superman the Movie
Conan the Siberian
