Facts this one was one of the best just like duck wing duck freakzord and all the cartoons from the 90 and early 2000 with stories back stories and the actions they should make a live actions movie and shit
Demona (DE-MOAN-A) Elisa Maza (MAH-ZA) One of the greatest cartoon series I have seen in my 46 years of life. I was 16 - 18 through this time, and it was completely beyond what I thought Disney would do. Still have 95% of the toys for the show as well. Holy damn you left out A LOT of episodes.
Thank you so much for putting the pronunciation of their names he did a great job with this video but he was driving me insane by mispronouncing their names. I watched this show every episode as a kid every episode.
@@duncanmoore3780 It's an AI voice. No one pronounces 'Pendragon' as Pen-dragon, it is however the correct gaelic pronunciation no one uses because quite frankly something like pen.dra.gone sounds better
While all of those are good, I sort of enjoyed the Conan The Adventurer cartoon from the 90's as well. Even when you consider the original source material is far FAR darker in nature/more mature.
Fun fact: they had developed a board game that accompanied this series upon it's initial release, my mother before she passed, had bought this and I can slightly remember busting it out and excitingly following along with the show while traversing the board. It was a neat addition to drum up attention, plus this was during the age of anime deserts being prominent everywhere! I would literally purchase or "rent" a vhs, or DVD of anything animated. So when the promotional ads came around I was pretty much a sure thing at that point.. 😃
Haven't even started the video yet and I'm already excited! First the Pink Panther, then Thundercats, and now Gargoyles. I'm loving these classic recaps!
Greg Wiseman was the creator of gargoyles. He helped produce the first two seasons of gargoyles. The last season was called the Goliath Chronicles, Greg Wiseman had very little involvement. That’s why he does not consider the goliath Chronicles cannon. He is currently writing the the new reboot gargoyle comics.
Thanks when I got out of the military, this helped me while I was in the hospital healing stories id read as a kid ( yes I old ) what ever happened to stories like this
@ohwellherewegoagain some inaccuracies. Mispronunciations as well. It seems like the writer pulled from Wikipedia, reworded it and handed it off to someone who just hasn't seen the show. Like the narrator's comment introducing Bronx. It's a comment someone (such as a s/o) would make if you were a big fan showing them it and they want to show you support despite definitely not getting it. It comes across as inauthentic or clunky and forced or AI generated. Kind of hard to convey via written words.
I wished my favourites past Disney animated series like The Gummie Bears, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks, Wuzzles, Gargoyles, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, House of Mouse, Kim Possible and American Dragon Jake Long are onto a complete Blu- Ray (with the entire episodes)at last just like they did for Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and Tangled the animated series. Because some of the Disney films like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Hercules for examples have their own animated series which is why I still think that the past Disney animated series deserved to be released onto Blu-Ray at last more than the Disney films.
There were several episodes of the World Tour left out. Such as the Irish one with Cu Chulainn and the Banshee. The one where we meet Eliza's mother and Ananzi. The Mayan Gargoyles with the sunstone amulet. The one where Jackal of the Pack becomes a vessel for Anubis for a short time. The one with the London Clan where Goliath used the Phoenix Gate to save Gryph in WW II (important as the he will be the first of the new Knights of the Round Table when Arthur starts to tour the world). The one with the alien guardian on Easter Island. The one where Dingo ends up bonding with an AI controlling nanobots in the Dreamtime. The one about Foxes father trying to transplant his soul into the Golem of Prague. The one about the Japanese clan that lives as openly as the later Manhattan Clan did in Castle Wyvern. (I am sure I am forgetting even more ...) Among other episodes missing is Hudson learning to read due to meeting a blind man, Broadway and the gun safety incident. Actually everything about the Pack returning with their upgrades as well. I also don't remember this recap mentioning Tony Dracon.
I'll admit it, I watched this while I was in college and loved every minute of it. It was the only thing Disney did right at the time. Man this hits the feels just perfectly.
It's funny how the brain works, I completely forgot I use to watch this like crazy as a kid.. And when I saw this video it was like a light bulb going off, and suddenly I'm flooded with memories and familiarity
Same. It's kind of embarrassing to admit, since I'm an older guy, but some of my favorites in this--roughly 5-year--time period were: Sailor Moon, Conan: The Barbarian, Exosquad, and Gargoyles.

I love this series🥰 Been so long since I’ve seen it so the recap is great. Could you do Mummies Alive! too? I believe both shows were made by the same company as Gargoyles. It sucks that we never got the planned season 2 of Mummies Alive! it’s such a gem. Would there be a chance to see a MA recap?

1. This guy ain't a millennial. ✅
2. This guy's an AI ✅
This show was so ahead of its time.
Not really….it was made in reaction to Batman: the animated series. Disney entry into dark and gritty cartoons that apparently had an untapped market
No. It was actually good. Entertainment got worse, not better.
How did you watch the whole show and not learn to pronounce Demona and Elisa correctly?
