These are gorgeous. Could just make out the beautiful details as you turned the pieces, but I can only imagine how amazing they must look in person. Oh, and how cute is Doris?? What a sweet little voice she has 😄 and that cute little paw at the bottom of the screen. Brought a huge smile to my face, what a little star!! 🤗😄❤
Hi Kathryn - Greetings from Tucson, Arizona. I always enjoy watching your tutorials and finally found Pardo translucent (and 3 metallics) and gonna try this technique with the Pardo. I also use the lolly sticks as spacers and glued 2 together, 3 together and 4 together so they stay put.
Hi I am Newbie to Your Channel.. I Just Needed to Say Omg I Love Your Videos-Tutorials Beautiful Pieces.. I appreciate You for These Videos.. I am Learning a lot from Watching..
Those turned out beautiful❣️❣️❣️ And how simple!!! I really like the green one, too, made me curious about how other colors might turn out- like silvers, coppers and black, hmmmm 😁 You inspire so many ideas, Kathryn, I love it!! Thank you 🙏
I've just discovered your channel and I Iove it! I like the way you do mokume gane better than any others. This technique is so pretty - very ethereal. I can't wait to try it.
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing! In the future if you have trouble with the mica you can make a paste by adding a drop of liquid clay into the mica then painting it on. Not that you need it, your pieces came out lovely, but I'm impatient so that's how I handle it.
beautiful pieces and colors. I adore her spontaneity. Thank you very much for the added translation work. I hope next time you don't "bathe yourself in mica powder" !!!!!! :) :)
Thanks - found them both - which I could have done on my own if I had half a brain! Have you tried Cernit's metallic white? It's really pretty - very pearly and very white. Am having a wonderful(!) time watching your videos. Have only done canes up until now, but I am loving making faux stone and mokume gane.. Thank you so much for sharing your style and expertise!
A beautiful finish thank you so much for the tutorial. I’m not very technical, but is there a way to have the info for the tutorial run across the screen at say the beginning and end. Explaining all you need can be found below. And I love your tattoo ❤️ xx
Kathryn those turned out beautiful! I’d love to see you make a mother of pearl one or even something with a shell effect. Like an abalone look. I just love watching your videos. They are fantastic when you do these looks. I’m excited for the next video! 💗
No need to apologize for the stained hands, they make beautiful things! And you share them! Thank you. These are so pretty. Can't wait to try them!

Hi Kim, probably but I’d have to do it in multiple languages as I already do 5 lots of subtitles 😂. I’ll just keep saying it at the start x
@@KathrynHalstead oh no that’s definitely a non starter 😂 x

Gold fingers! Lol
Can you use another brand of translucent. I don’t have Cernit
yes Nancy any brand will do ..... just remember the Premo may have a beige tone to it x
Can you use alcohol inks in place of mica?
Nancy the Mica gives the effect so you woulnt get the shift effect, but you could tint pearl clay
You are my idol! Thank you. So creative, Kathryn. Where do you live?
สวยน่ารัก.
ขอบคุณมาก ฉันจะเพิ่มซับไทยถ้ามันช่วยคุณได้ในวิดีโอหน้า
