👍awesome video, I have a similar ram truck build in my mind
Good morning Justin. That is a nice truck for sure. That GT sport would be my next pick
Good morning from Sudbury, one of my Chevy Silverado buddies bought one of these this year and then 2 more of his buddies jumped ship and got Rebels too. This is 2 brothers and their best friend. They were Chevy guys for the past 10 years. Is 10/10 rock one of these too!
Great Video as always! Curious as to just what the mpg was over your time frame? Love the F150 Tremor and would build it with the V8 but would consider the Ram as that V8 sound is intoxicating for sure!
Hey John
Didn't track the mpg in this one, usually these testers are low mileage, not broken in and therefore are not achieving representative fuel economy figures as I'm driving them.
What I can tell you is that if you drive about 25000km per year, and assume that gas costs $1.50 per liter, the difference between these two trucks according to their fuel economy figures is less than $300.
I had this truck as a rental for a month while my GM was waiting for parts to fix it .
I actually liked it better, then my GM .
Good power and loved the big screen and the navigation works without a monthly subscription!
Yep, I definitely want this beast.
Beautiful truck! What are your thoughts on the etorque system? Long term realiability maybe too early to tell since its only been 3-4 years.
I have a 2023 with 38,000 miles with e-tourque with no issues at all. I like it because I don’t have to turn the start and stop off every time I get in the car. It’s so seemless
I'm curious if the electronics gave you any hiccups during your test period, Justin. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee for a week as a rental (only 35 km on the odo when I picked it up) and the FCW and Auto-braking never worked once. This meant the adaptive cruise control never worked. I'm curious if this was a lemon or a common thing from Stellantis.
Hey Sean actually nothing beyond a sometimes -fussy Android auto connection that I chalked up to bad cable.
I've driven plenty of brand new FCA stuff, in my experience the glitches in Gremlins are few and far between but I know they are out there, my brother and his wife have been hunting down some nav system issues with her Durango for a year.
Luck of the draw??
Cheers
It adds 131 ft pounds of tourqe and 16 hp, that's the speck on etourqe.
Why do they give same hp rating as the rest of 5,7s?
Because the e-torque adds it to the bottom end only, not where peak hp and tq are measured.
My favorite
How’s Mathew doing
I love my GT Laramie
I have a Back Country and all the Tundra can see is my tail lights
The Rebel is dated on front end , the Back Country has more off road add ons and is a better buy
