- The Rebel takes all the great things about the Ram 1500 and adds the equipment it needs for full off road capability. Under the hood is a 5.7 Hemi V8 that is producing 395HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the outside the Rebel has unique bodywork, wheels, and other touches to separate it from the rest of the Ram crowd. This makes me excited for new renditions of the Rebel in the future. Even though we just got the TRX, I think the Rebel is the perfect sweet spot of bang for buck when it comes to offroad capability and 90% pavement drives.
I also notice that Joe doesn't get wet even when it rains. This is no average Joe guys.

Ram has really stepped their game up, they have the best looking trucks and nicest interiors.
Love my Rebel! Looked at Ford and GM and there was no comparison!! Only wish RAM would have put a nice sounding exhaust, way to quiet for a Hemi! Its all good though baby, i installed a Flowmaster Outlaw muffler and now that Hemi screams HP and torque!!!

I drive my 2019 ram rebel for my daily driver. I’ve put 23,000 miles in one year and have had no issues with the power train. She’s a bit quirky at times in terms of the electronics, the screen turned off once, the back up camera was fuzzy once or twice. Those electric issues cleared themselves by restarting the truck. There was a terribly annoying rattle coming from the passenger seat belt whenever it wasn’t being used that I took apart and added a rubber buffer and now it doesn’t rattle. I love my truck with all its quirks Bc when u put your foot down she goes and sounds great with the borla s type exhaust
2 months ago, I rented a car for a 2 week roadtrip. I was suppose to have received a premium vehicle. They didnt have one on the lot and I was given a choice of either a Honda CRV or Ram Rebel. Of course I took the Rebel. I put close to 2,000 miles on the Rebel and it was a great ride. The hemi had plenty of power, including climbing tioga pass at Yosemite. Then off to the northern California coast. Being a rental, I didn't really offroad it, but did take it up a couple of logging roads and the suspension did fine. The truck was comfortable, got decent mileage if I kept my foot out of it and the interior was best in class. I was going to buy a rebel this summer, but given current events, may delay my buy. I have friends with newer tundras and yes they have a reliable record, but the rams ride, mileage and especially the interior was much better than the tundra. I don't need the offroad capacity of the gladiator or the raptor, just something I can use on utility roads or the playas of Nevada. Good job ram.

@@truevhazo4001 Stay in cash right now. No one can predict the bottom. Treat investing with the same discipline as getting better at a sport. Read every day about investments. Dont expect to get rich overnight. Understand investing has risk. At 22 you can afford to make mistakes, but learn from them.

I own this truck, the 2020 RAM Rebel. I have the RED interior, which is what I wanted/want. That's one reason why I bought the Rebel I saw the unique red interior and was like wow, that's cool looking. Look for ppl who are wondering, there's nothing like taking a truck from the dealership for a weekend test drive. If the dealer isn't a idiot, he's gonna let you do that if he thinks you're a serious buyer. Butttt for ppl who are just curious and or wondering, I previously owned a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, which I bought in 2017. The Jeep was and still is very close to if not being my favorite vehicle I have ever owned, I miss it A LOT. But what I can tell ppl is, the RAM Rebel is much bigger and more spacious inside. So you have lots more room inside and more storage space. Otherwise you get a bigger screen, which I like. K here's what really matters to me, OFF ROAD. I took the Rebel to almost all the off road spots I took my previous Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the RAM just ateeeee it all up. Literally just ripped through everything a lot easier than the Jeep did. The Jeep didn't have a problem. Butttt what the Jeep felt, the RAM Rebel didn't even notice. I can crush and run through 2-3ft of snow like nothing with the Ram Rebel. So the Ram Rebel is a beast, meaning really good off road. The only one complaint I have about the Rebel is if you're not driving it on the highway where it goes down to a 4cyl, its EXPENSIVE on gas, you'll see if you get one. Costs $100 to fill it up and only lasts me a week. So that's $400/per month. Where the Jeep costed, $80/per fill and lasted 2wks so only $200/month. 🧡 My 2020 Ram Rebel and if you want awesome truck that can do it all, I suggest you try one!
This infotainment system blows the one in my explorer ST away I am jealous! One of my St is Soso not so great very slow!

Ordered my rebel last week. Cant wait to get it. Raptor being a Ford will break under duress, that's one of the reasons why I got the rebel because it's from a more reliable company

Rams truck interior and exterior designed are top notch compared to competitor but reliability has been an issues. 2 of my Neighbors have bought brand new 2020 rams truck and within 3 months both have visited the service shop for some mechanical/transmission issue. But this RAMS rebel is very nice

You need to check your tow capacity, if it has the 3.92 axles it tows over 10k/lbs. That has to tow mirrors so it should have the 3.92.
Also get the all four air suspension, it's worth the money.

I have always wanted a place for my nutterbutters! Love your style, Joe!! Those Duratracs are a great tire! Run them year round on my 4runner, even in the snow when we go up to our house in VT! My only complaint is they tend to wear out faster than other ATs and once you get some life on them they get pretty noisy.

The two front vents are functional. There are two small ports under hood. Not much but they are functional.

@@85mackey1 Oh I'm sure they won't because you say so. I tow my wakeboat 3-4x a week with an AT4. Large cab and short bed too. Guess what, fantastic at towing and comfortable enough for my family on the inside. Personally don't care about the bed. I like it, keeps the truck short enough to drive daily, but can be an 8' bed when I need it with the tailgate load stop.
And went with the AT4 for that reason. Tons of towing tech - cameras, trailer TPMS, trailer profiles, etc. It's like Ram forgot this was a truck first.
We have a Yukon as well, and this is a great step up for people who actually tow. More 1st and 2nd row room, longer WB, tows better, better tech, etc.

Hey Joe, I'm of two minds when it comes to trucks. I personally love the look of the Ram Rebel. If I were to only use the truck for off roading then I feel it would be good. It would be perfect there there were Ventilated seats and a full pano sunroof. But if I was like the typical person who buys truck for what mainly they are built for which is towing. I feel that's were Form has all the competitors beat. In this case the Ram has a 5.7 Hemi which will max to about 7 thousand lbs. And form with their eco boas V6 and tow around 15,000 lbs. I could be wrong on Fords numbers. I just feel for a V8 it should tow a lot more. And at the price point have more bells and whistles.

Good looking truck! However I think RAM should've put the 392 6.4 hemi from the srt8 Challenger in this truck, just to separate it from the rest of the RAMs, but this is a good looking truck!
Once pick up a girl in my ram rebel. She quoted “This is a nice truck, literally I love the interiors, I have been in Chevy and Ford and GMC truck, they weren’t nice as this.” 🤷♂️😂

That tailgate would be cool for overlanding. Mount a little folding counter on the inside and you get your swing out kitchen with access to the bed.
I have the 2019 Rebel and mine has the optional Panoramic sunroof which is beautiful and it also has the rear passenger DC Power Plug and usb connections, mine also has the RAMBOX which this one was missing and running boards as well all said I got it for 53k almost fully loaded.

I love your reviews because of the food references. One thing confuses me. I don't know why that specific truck didn't have any outlets in the rear. When I build a rebel on Ram's website, it requires me to pick the level 2 equipment group when selecting the Rebel 12 screen option. The level 2 group states that a 115 volt rear outlet is included.
The 1500 big horn with almost every option (Msrp $47000) is only $33,000 at Jerry Ulm. I might have to get it

They are a no no in Canada. My wife’s rebel has air ride always freezes and breaks. Expensive to fix. We’re trading it in for a ram with regular coil spring/ shock suspension.

I'm just curious man. Did you have the 5.3 or the 6.2? If you had the 5.3 then I can kind of get it but the 6.2 rocks. For me it's all about the motor.
