@@toddfeltman3748 good stuff man! I went to my local Ram dealership, and we were a LOT of $$$ away from making a deal happen. Going rate was $7k (USD) above MSRP, so I couldn't logically commit to that haha.
The Rebel can be had at the price you quoted. Good luck finding a TRX for less than $100K. Add to the TRX increased fuel costs and insurance premiums, and the Rebel starts looking like a much more sensible option.
Huh? That color is terrible? And then you state it needs to be dark, like the silver TRX that you said looked awesome? I never considered silver to be dark. I, for one,. am tired of vehicles being some sort of shade of non-color (black, white, or somewhere on the gray scale). Also, what's up with offering a pickup package and then not permitting a crew cab, short bed? These pickups with extra-short 5'-something beds are useless.
just saw this. good segment. i have a 22 RAM Rebel Echo-diesel with air suspension and 33 gal tank. it runs in the "normal" mode at speeds less than 60 miles per hour (+-) and lowers to Aero when you run the interstate or go fast.... i have the 8.8 Uconnect 5 and it has been a PITA. There was an update a few weeks ago that may have fixed my SIRIUS XM stations from dropping. visibility is also hampered by the pillars and the windshield mirror. other than that, my complaints are few. i have the surround view to aid in parking but it still is sometimes challenging. i also have the lane assist and adaptive cruise control. i think mine rounded out at $79000 or so out the door. i had a 2014 Ram Sport a couple of years back and i liked it and traded my wrangler and Ram for a Gladiator. I liked it but i was hoping for the best of both worlds but didn't get the best of anything. coming from a wrangler and gladiator it is a little large and i needed to get used to it all over again. You cant get a GT with the Echo-diesel. i special ordered mine and looked at the GT option but it wasn't available with the diesel. i picked the diesel due to the fuel economy as i was driving over 100 miles a day to and from work. when i ordered it, diesel prices weren't that bad. I'm retired now so that expense isn't as much as it was back when i took delivery in june 22 or November/December. thanks again.
All trucks ride like crap??...since when ??...they all ride like cars Ram being the best of the bunch in that area...my Ram rides as good or better than my wifes 2021 accord.
I’ve owned two rams now. A 5.7 hemi not fast? Lololol. So weird. What other 5.7 V8 is as quick as the Ram with a Hemi? I’ve driven a few, and it’s funny to hear that from you.
As an European, I got shocked with the 30 gallon tank and 15 mpg consumptions. Can't imagine how much it will cost to run a truck like that in this side of the pond.
right now where i am in the US it would cost 100.00$ us to fill the tank, and 15mpg is optimal, my guess is more like 11mpg. you would always be going to the gas station and giving them all your money. 😭 I can't wait till we have some good EV's at a decent price here in the US.
@@markm6488 Where I live it will cost 176 € or around 200 USD, so this truck is just not an option for anyone. That's why the pick-up trucks here are really small( compared to US) and 4 cylinder diesel .
US government subsidizes fuel prices in the US to enable people to buy these gas guzzlers. People might make some more responsible choices over here if we stopped enabling over consumption.
Work on your review skills. You are all opinion, and your opinion sucks and un informed. I'm a Chevy guy and I don't like Dodge at all but this is a bad ass truck. It is an Off Road truck. You have no idea what you are driving. You would scream like a little girl if you hit dirt full power in that truck. You would either love it or tell the driver to stop the ride and you want out. I think the latter.
You call it’s a Ram. Which is correct. But then you called the Grand Wagoneer the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It’s not a Jeep. It says now where on the vehicle that it’s a Jeep. I know it’s in the Jeep website. But they even call it just the Grand Wagoneer. I wish you review people on UA-cam would get it right. Thanks
I love trucks. Can’t wait to do some EV vs ICE pickup tests!
That color is AWESOME, hydro blue. We need more of these colors beside the boring white, black, silver colors.
Absolutely like they’ve done with TRX orange green yellow and they look awesome
good lord, when car people try to review trucks. somebody get this man a Prius, please. Europoors, didn't even think about it lol
What do you mean?
"The color is terrible, it really is" - really?? I think that hydro blue is beautiful..
Totally agree. We just ordered ours in that color!

One of the worst review i ever seen showing a new veicle

even with the wind,, your audio was perfect
Hydro Blue is a great color!
If they are calling it the baby trx why didn't they offer the 392.
I guess somebody that can afford a $72k pickup doesn't care if he spends $100 every time he fills the tank.

Love blue truck 😍😍😍😊❤️
Did not know about holding the right paddle down to reset to D.
I've been switching my bmw from D to Sport and back to reset. nice tip!
I just want the rebel to have the 6.5 ft bed with the full crew cab

Just going a 2023 GT w/ 3,400 miles for $56k thinking of pulling the trigger.
Will it let you turn the wheel with the engine off? You mean if power steering is available with the engine off?

The G/T is only available with the 5.7 ETorque, no base 5.7 or diesel options
I love the TRX but it would be an absolute PITA driving it around LA.. parking decks.. small neighborhood where we live. This would ‘fit’ much better.
You like all the vehicles you try out.
I think I might of seen you driving this. I was on a hike recently here at Horsetooth. Must have been you lol

2022 Ram 1500 Rebel Hemi eTorque G/T Crew Cab 4X4!
It’s probably the best riding truck on the market right now besides the ev trucks

Adaptive cruise that can hang 5" off a car's rear bumper?
That would be useful to RAM drivers!
RAM es RAM ..... Bella hermosa esa Camioneta su porte su diseño y su estilo son lo máximo excelente maquina que RAM creó felicitaciones a RAM
That engine cover 😂 “please don’t look under me”
does it have 3.92 gears? it might feels slow due to gearing
I wish Ram would've allowed you to put the 392 SRT engine in this instead. The Hemi is powerful but nothing like that SRT engine
Because there is still god damn $20 or more mark ups on trx
turbos are better at altitude than superchargers due to the way they operate
Nice dent in the front bumper lol
Skip the e torque smother shifts.
I need a front bench seat. Wtf does ram not offer it in TRX or rebel? Powerwago it is I guess
TRX is a luxury truck. You won't find a bench in a luxury truck.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 yet you can get a front jump seat in a Land Rover Defender
@@carperdiem8754 Maybe because Land Rover actually thought about customers that want that.

It is a jeep. It's on the jeep website, has the traditional jeep grill, regardless of them putting the word "jeep" on it, it is a jeep.
It has Jeep in three spots on the Grand Wagoneer, it is still very much a Jeep product
Uconnect system is garbage
