Eric F krackenthorpe Janick well and truly deserves his place in the band, and he’s probably my favourite songwriter, even though I prefer Dave and Adrian’s solos most of the time. His one in this song is perfection though

@@einherjar8147. As a metal head and Maiden fan in his 50's, it's a toss-up between Seventh Son and Brave New World as my all time favorite Maiden albums - but sh!t, they're all good.
Seventh son of a seventh son is the main reason I started to listen to heavy metal and become a musician myself. My favorite is Infinite Dreams and The Prophecy. I still hold that album as the best ever (tied with Operation Mindcrime by Queesryche)
All of these songs you do reactions to, I have heard every one of them and at least half of them are all time favorites that I played out already. But there's something about your reaction to them I feel like I'm listening to them all for the first time again and it's giving me a renewed perspective on these songs! Keep doing what you're doing because it's reinspiring me
This entire album is f**King fantastic, saw this song live in Glasgow with my 3 lifelong buddies. Plenty of beers and tears, it's a special song for me.
Preston, Preston, Preston. You have given me hope. I'm 40 this year and have dedicated 30 years listening to Maiden. They were my first love, my greatest love, my last love. I have seen them only 7 times and like you I missed their early years and it brings me the greatest pain to have missed those classics live. However you continue to hit it right with your synopsis. They have a signature, they have a hook and are stubbornly carving their own path and unfaltering in that journey. My dad who is in his 70's has joined me to see maiden twice and we both love them. I've got to say, the feelings, emotion and joy you're feeling is exactly what I felt as a 10 year old boy watching live after death for the first time. Heart beating fast, physically shaking and hairs on my neck stood on end, I knew, this was it. There's just nobody like them. Seeing you experience them for the first time on hallowed be thy name was a joy. You just GET it. I'd really like you to have a listen to "The thin line between love and hate" off the Brave new world album. Bruce's vocals on that song are insane. Also give "stranger in a strange land" off the album Somewhere in time. Neither of these are what the typical maiden fan would suggest but they are songs that have had a huge impact on me and my own playing style in my own band. Happy listening.
Iron Maiden North America Tour kicks off 2019! Ends here in San Antonio,Tx definitely going to see them and enjoy ‘tis timeless songs of IRON MAIDEN🎶🎶go check them out brother👍🏼
Yes, yes, yes...as an Iron Maiden lover Preston this is their penultimate song, watch the live recording from Ullevi, Sweden and prepare to be knocked out.
I saw them last summer and they played it live. And it is special especially how Bruce introduced the song; he said how the world leaders are fucked up for trying to divide us. And said that there's people who don't like people for their skin color, that they don't practice the right religion, don't like that who they marryor just don't like people for their face or what have you. That none of that matters to them - everyone is there to see an Iron Maiden show and none of those things matter to them; that everyone is welcome. Basically saying we're all blood brothers. I thought it was really amazing and everyone had phone lights/lighters whatever (mostly lighters where I was) But it was truly awesome. They're so good live and love what they do and the fans so much - you can really tell by the way they perform.
Such an amazing song! Thank you for playing it. The best live version of that song is from "Rock in Rio". You have to see them live to truly get a feel for them. If you live where I think you do (creepy as shit, I know), they're going to be playing in Tinley Park, IL on Aug 24, 2019.
If you want to hear a crazy fucking tune, that many people never think of or have probably never heard of but is a crazy rock opera masterpiece, listen to Chance by Savatage. Or even Morphine Child etc. I know you like these unusual and unique songs, so this is one hell of a contender. The song transforms like 3 times, and shit gets very real. You may even like Morphine Child better - so fucking epic.
Preston; there are SO many Maiden songs you would love. Just to name a few.....Where Eagles Dare, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, Wasted Years, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Still Life, so many more. You should do a whole week of Iron Maiden reactions.
I could see the exact point you really “felt” this song. Awesome to see! I’ve been a lifelong Maiden fan (I’m 42). You will say that this is your favorite maiden song countless more times.
One of my all time favorite maiden tunes. Such brilliant lyrics and a beautiful beat to this song. One of their best for sure. Glad to see you enjoyed as well. 😁
This song always hits me My oldest daughter's best friend was a huge Iron Maiden fan. I got to take Steve, Spike (my daughter's husband but then boyfriend) daughter to see Iron Maiden's Somewhere back in time tour. This was their first time performing in Vancouver in 25 years (I have seen them every time they have played here), and the first time that they saw Maiden live (my daughters first large venue concert) Absolute GREAT concert. When they came back 2 years latter Steve didn't have the money for a ticket as he was between jobs, so we bought him one for his birthday. Steve, Spike and another friend Tony were starting a band at the time. Two weeks after the concert Steve and another friend Kaleb were killed in a car accident on Steve's 22nd birthday. At their memorial service Tony played Steve's acoustic guitar while Spike sang this song. We will be going to our third Iron Maiden concert since their deaths this summer, and I know at some point they will play a song that hits my daughter hard and she will cry.
I’m British and live nearby where Bruce comes from in west London. I have no idea you’re background but I’m jumping up and down in joy watching your reaction to the music I grew up on. I play the guitar and got the similar tone to what they use with my rig. Honestly so glad I have randomly found you’re channel. You have probably gone through their catalog already but download Dance of death and listen to that album on your own in your house no distraction.
at minute 7 even the guitar repeats everything that the lead vocal just expressed so perfectly!..... it's beyond genius it's what we are all listening to right now years later.....
This album marks the return of Bruce and this song written by Steve is in memory of his late father at that time. Such a precious album with legendary songs like this one, the Thin line between love and hate, The Ghost of the navigator, well in the end I think I love them all. Great reaction as always, hope you had the chance to listen to more Maiden after all this time, take care bro.
Also one of my favorite Maiden songs. Maybe my favorite album from them (and yes, I've heard everything from them, trolls. Love it all. Different strokes tho..). It would mean a lot for you to react to Novembre - Aquamarine. It's simply a beautiful metal song and will hit you in your musical feels, man. Nobody is going to request the band. They're fairly unknown, but you won't regret that gem of a band. I've enjoyed watching you make this journey brosef. Keep going!
lol, there's multiple Live versions of this song, you'll love them all, specially Blood Brothers( En Vivo)....,when he screams "What Are We????, and 60,000 people , give or take go ... "We're Blood Brothers..., We're Blood Brothers........" Excellent as Always!!!!
I was lucky enough to witness this song live back in 2010. The Wicker Man and Dream of Mirrors are also great songs off that album. And yes, there's two recorded live versions from 2001, Rock In Rio, and 2011, En Vivo!
Steve Harris wrote Blood Brothers to pay respect to his father, who died while he was on tour with Iron Maiden.
I knew Harris wrote this song, but, didn't know he wrote it in the memory of his father...
I didnt know that, thank you.
His father was on the tour? Fair play to him
I didn't know that Steve wrote it for his dad.
Just for a second the glimpse of my father i see...

We will be going to our third Iron Maiden concert since their deaths this summer, and I know at some point they will play a song that hits my daughter hard and she will cry.
I might need to start listening to Iron Maiden now
Join us and be one with the Maiden
Live version of this song (Rock in Rio):

PLEASE REACT TO DIRE STRAITS-SULTANS OF SWING !!!
Tornado of Souls!! Please bruuuuh
Masterpiece of a song!
MEGADETH RULES
at minute 7 even the guitar repeats everything that the lead vocal just expressed so perfectly!..... it's beyond genius it's what we are all listening to right now years later.....
“Wrong side of heaven” from five finger death punch! Please!
Not my favorite. Try Iron Maiden "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" for an epic song.
Keep going!
If you want epic Maiden listen to "Empire of the Clouds" it's a masterpiece, it was written about the R101 airship disaster
lol, there's multiple Live versions of this song, you'll love them all, specially Blood Brothers( En Vivo)....,when he screams "What Are We????, and 60,000 people , give or take go ... "We're Blood Brothers..., We're Blood Brothers........" Excellent as Always!!!!
And there is a live version
I was lucky enough to witness this song live back in 2010. The Wicker Man and Dream of Mirrors are also great songs off that album.
And yes, there's two recorded live versions from 2001, Rock In Rio, and 2011, En Vivo!
Iron Maiden - Afraid To Shoot Strangers :D
Reacting to this I can really see you are liking this music not a fake. I like all walks of music. You are one of my favorite youtubers now!
Clansman live at tele2arena Stockholm you won't be disappointed
You were completely mesmerized by the song. I don't think I've seen you so caught up in a song.
