Which player handled themsevles best and worst in the ring?
Ablett is clearly a natural.
There was a story about Ablett beating up a bikie at a car yard about 10 years after he retired from football. He was definitely a good fighter.
@@toneloc9084 awesome. As far as I'm concerned, he can beat up as many bikes as he wants.
Bikies* still.
Doesn’t move his feet enough. Would have been dangerous (like he was on the footy field) if he did …
You can say that to him directly. I'm not!
With his hands, not feet
The Richard Champion vs Billy Moore was easily the best fight on that night.
Hall was pretty tough when he was whacking guys on the football field when they weren't expecting it................
Really embarrassing for Hally, putting himself through that at his age. He really can’t take a punch. Should just go gardening in his middle age …
@@ma3stro681 hall would have cleaned him up 20 years ago
Hall has always been a gutless sniper. Weak as piss.
As Mike Tyson said," everyone has a plan until they get punched" 😂😂😂
Matt Kennedy won his fight on the Meninga card. The AFL player showing the most is Clay Smith. He is knocking everyone out at the moment
Couldn't get the footage otherwise I would have added it in. Maybe a part two is on the cards???? Thanks for watching.
They get smashed by NRL players
I have to agree
Roids
That Pettifer bloke never took his head off the centre line (unless Robbo hit him!)..
Didn't even see the fella try to parry!!
Meninga is the man. Nicest guy
Mal not even breaking a sweat..
I know. Absolutely smashed him. Thanks for watching and make sure to sub!
Funny Maurice Rioli would of beaten all those NRL hacks !
I’ll save you all 20 minutes, they get knocked out by league players. Time and time again.
Ablett was getting toyed with listen to the delusional commentary 😂😂..as a boxer this is hilarious to watch, the corporate game elitists trying real world and getting smashed easily 😂😂😂
What was Kane Pettifer doing in there …
Getting smacked up by Robinson.
13min was that the mouth guard or the falsies?
Ok, a bunch of ex-footballers trying to stay in the public eye and promoters using them as a gimmick. Real pro boxers from the old VFL include Stewart Gull (South Melbourne) 3-1 as a heavyweight, Bob Rose (Collingwood) 9-2-1 as a welterweight, the great Ambrose Palmer (Footscray) who at one stage held the Australian middleweight, light-heavy and heavyweight titles and trained Johnny Famechon to a world title, and Bill Lang (Richmond), Australian Heavyweight Champion who fought Tommy Burns for the world title, knocked him down in the second before being KO'd in the 6th. Another comment on this video mentions Maurice Rioli, worth relating the fact that Mark Jackson who features in this video pissed off Rioli when they were teammates at South Fremantle, they settled it in the ring, Rioli gave up a lot of height and weight to Jackson and those who witnessed it say he absolutely smashed Jackson, not even a contest. EDIT: Apparently Jacko was set up by Rioli's cousin who convinced Jacko to stir up Maurice and challenge him to get in the ring. Jacko was blissfully unaware that Maurice had a quite impressive amateur boxing record. Alas it was in the days before cameras on phones, but because of the weight and size difference it is an easy one to visualise. Footy fans will keep retelling this story, not least because of the fact that Rioli became a greatly respected footballer for his great ability and the way he conducted himself, Jackson, well not so much to respect, the fight was a contrast in character as well as size
You could have lined up another couple of AFL boys for Geyer straight away and he would have done the same
AFL players are generally more talented but Rugby players are tougher …
True dat except there have been a few that I would never shape up to.
@@ma3stro681 yeah sure miss a goal, get a point , catching a ball is a big thing in AFL but you can get away without catching it ,AFL is a game built on errors and imaginary stats , the more skill thing is BS
Cornes v Nathan Brown?
We both know that was a farce and would have done this video a disservice 😀
2 little gay bitches like them prob could nt hold the gloves over there faces
Was funny but!!
@@baabaabaa-yp2jh it was. Thanks for watching
league vs victorian football is not really fair.
RL players seem to do better, eg. Anthony Mundine 😊
AFL players are great fighters 😂😂😂😂
