Remy is my favorite… he is an instant hit …. Such a jolly personality… please do add him in more episodes other than chef series
And he is very good-looking to boot!
@@heymikey1981 that’s one of the positives about him
What said is perfect
Love Remy!
Vegan tacos that's is a sin !!
I’m so glad Remy won. He was the most honest and generous with his scoring, his tacos were the most similar to what I would make or order, and he seemed very kind and silly.
Wish I didn’t come to the comment section before finishing the vid😭😭
@@StaticOz_BRO LITERALLY I HATE WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT BROOO like some people just wanna look through the comments while u watch yk then we have people like them spoliling them. They could have just said I’m glad that person one or something like that not say any names. HATEEEE people like that I thought I was the only one
@@clown2657 How you gonna blame other people for that lmao? a comment section is for reacting to the video AFTER watching it. how you gonna hate on people for using something for what it was designed for
Remy was great, seemed to be the best at rating others! (His scores actually matched his reactions to each taco !)
agreed
One or two of the others were lowballing compared to the others. Remy was probably highballing and still won.
When Remy looked into the camera and said “wish you were here” he was talking SPECIFICALLY to me. He’s so sweet
he's super dope, tell him to start his own bloody show!
Will: This doesn't seem like an authentic taco, after she literally makes her own tortilla.
Also Will: Puts a salad in a crispy taco shell and does no cooking. **TACO**
Will made my blood boil with his Taco
😂😂
None of them were authentic
I hate crispy taco shells. Eating a crispy taco shell is like putting a shell made of glass shards in my mouth for me.
It was all forgivable until he said his "yehh haaa"
“Chefs try each other’s veggie wraps”
Lol
... But Tacos are not wraps
100% correct. So disappointed in this video. They made a vegan video and didnt announce it as such.
@@shawnm7246 Totally
Right! Why didn’t they specify
Olivia: puts pickled cucumber on taco
Will:this could use picked cucumber
maybe just wasn't pickled enough! I've had some things pickled that aren't particularly strong.
This should be, "who can make the furthest thing from a taco and still call it a taco."
Well, the most traditional won anyways
I'd be bored if they all just took a traditional salsa and traditional guac and slapped tofu or beans on it and called it a day.
I like that they tried new things to keep their tacos fresh and interesting, and all used such different flavor profiles and ingredients. Gives me some ideas to use when my vegetarian friends come over and I'm lost for what to cook.
why mess with something already perfect?
@@johnr797 none were traditional nor even close
@selena naw, Remy was really close. Made a vegan refried bean with salsa. That’s pretty traditional.
Only thing he could have done better is fried up a corn tortilla.
glad to see Remy win for actually sticking to traditional taco.
Don’t say who won in the comments cus some people didn’t watch the whole video yet. Don’t spoil it for others
@@clown2657 How stupid do you have to be to read the comments then without finishing the video? It’s obviously going to have bloody spoilers. Finish the video then read it’s simple, got no one to blame except yourself.
@@clown2657maybe don’t look at the comments lmao
That was not a traditional taco lol
Remy has the pefect name for a chef and also looks like a snacc! 😍
yep he does
He was in Spiderman Far from Home and Crazy Rich Asians
@@zitronentee wait really???
@@keremh. Yup, and he was in Marco Polo!
@@aakashpatel1103 have a crush on him since Marco Polo 😅
Remy's recipe is indeed the closest to the tacos from California which are also reminiscent of the authentic Mexican tacos.👌🏼 Remy also seems like a nice guy, he was gracious with the points he gave his competitors 😍
Plus, easy on the eyes
Yall should invite a mexican chef too
honestly
Right
It took me way too long to realize that nobody was using meat
They mentioned at the beginning of the video but not in titles that’s what caused confusion
Bro I was so confused too. I was just waiting for someone to use meat then eventually I was like this is vegan tacos isn’t it? I wonder why they didn’t put it in the title
Whaaat??? I was confused too!! I was about to cut the video off. And I love vegetables! But I said “let’s just wait and see what everybody else does.” Then it made sense lol
@@joydot.dot.dot.8040 we definitely know why they didn’t put it in the title
Vegan mate
Remy's taco gets my vote, even though he forgot to heat the tortilla.
And add more avacado
@@zohatanveer9736 if you are going to critique, its avocado* 🥑 🙂
@@lostheartslostminds doesn't matter
@@sugastangerines3754 does
Remy: he's an actor who's also a Chef. Learned cooking in an Indian cooking class in London. Love his diversity and energy.
Remy's enthusiasm in the kitchen, you guys need to have Remy and Ryan in some cooking video together, feel that would be a fun time!
I second this 🤩👌🙏
Yes!!!
omg they make ONE meatless video and ppl who eat meat are so mad lol just add meat????? imagine being someone who doesn’t eat meat, watching all the cooking vids with meat…you know what we do? we adjust it to our personal diets. lol grow up
That's not the issue, they should've been clear so we could ignore it.
@@necrogenesis1981 what
@@lttledreamer They didn't put vegan tacos in the title, if we knew that we would ignore it and not waste our time.
@@necrogenesis1981 you can just add meat it’s not hard :) i’m confused ?
@@lttledreamer They needed to be 100% clear, I hate clicking on a video and finding out it's something I don't want. I could "just add meat" but that's not the point, don't waste my time.
I didn't realise it was all vegan until I read some of the comments complaining about not being warned it was vegan? Lol, I enjoy meat but good food is good good and these all looked super tasty. Will definitely be trying Remy's and the mushroom ones!
I love them all... but Remy is a jewel
I find it highly comical that Remy is a fantastic chef with amazing training and he shares his name with Remy from Ratatouille 😂😂
I love how genuine they all are, very honest with good critiques.
16:48 he said it needed pickled cucumbers yet her "taco" was topped with pickled cucumbers....😅
I'm surprised nobody did traditional potato tacos
Right? As a vegetarian, born in TX, that’s my go to (yes I know some cooks use animal fat. I ask).
Or any form of any traditional taco....
Where’s the meat
@@yoitsli0n Australia doesn't know what traditional Mexican food is sadly.
wait, is a potato taco what is considered traditional? I thought that was just a taco bell or breakfast taco thing. I was wondering why no one did a nopal taco?
Will: described Olivia's taco as teriyaki
Also Will: South East Asian
More Remy!! Loved everybody but his energy was just infectious!
love how alot of the Buzzfeed Oz winners are usually the most humble and kindest. Way to go Remy you are a legend
The one guy specifically said he didnt want to mash his beans too much and he didnt, yet the one girl said she wished he didn’t mash them into a puree. Hmmmmmmm lol
Yay!!! Remy won
His taco is the closest to an actual Mexican taco, and I would order it if I saw it on a menu ❤ Actually, I’m surprised no one thought of making cactus tacos, those are super veggie Mexican tacos
Cactus tacos and the cheesy-potato ones I get in NC are literally my favorite things at the local Mexican restaurant in my old neighborhood.
right nopales are amazing
I can’t stop staring at the holes in Remy’s shirt at the armpits
same 😆
Did she just say to not make refried beans the correct way? I have heard from Americans living abroad that other countries outside North America can’t make Mexican food, especially Brits, Kiwis and Aussies and now I see why. 😬
I think people just take the ideas of traditional foods and change it up to suit how they like it which isn't bad because they can create amazing new flavors from it like in this video. As long as they don't call it traditional or authentic, it's all good.
Such a lovely surprise to see that these were vegetarian-friendly tacos! I love these videos but so often can’t make the recipes in my own kitchen. Would love to see some more videos like this going forward!
There's nothing like watching people eat tacos with lime wedges to make me deeply sad that the world has seen fit to make me allergic to citrus fruits.
Can u add vinegar?
Or pickled onions !
Try rice vinegar!
Me watching people eat cilantro/coriander without thinking it tastes like soap
@@johnr797 Every thing tastes great if done in a right way
I love these videos where the chefs are super kind but fair in their critiques
Why, oh why, do you not include recipes or links in the descriptions? I would love to make all of these.
I love Remi he is soo wholesome would try that Taco recipe and also the first Taco recipe looks yummy 😋
Love that they are all meatless! 😍 am going to try all of these
Love Remy...such a positive vibe he gives off...glad he won!
The hard shell tortilla oml i would cry if someone served that to me LMAOO
Another Chefs Try video, MORE ENVY because Remy's dish looks fantastic and I have to make it as soon as possible.
the last one looked the best. i’m surprised no one used a traditional soft corn tortilla
lazy arse bitches lol
I think this was my favorite episode everyone was so amazing and a great vibe. They did justice to the dish I genuinely didn't realize there were Hispanic people in Australia let alone that you know our dishes. 10/10
The last taco recipe looks especially good - now im craving tacos so I plan to make some soon 😋
Yeeesss I watched Remy on "gengis khan"!! So talented! Good to see him again
"Chef's Try Each other's Tex-Mex-inspired Vegan Wraps"... There I fixed it.
Chef's show they didn't do their research on Mexican cuisine* 😂
it pained me to hear them describe tacos so nicely and then the first chef starts with flour tortillas 😭
@@jasminidk depending on the region of Mexico, flour tortillas are common for certain taco. Especially in northern Mexico like Sonora and Baja California. That was the lowest on the things that annoyed me lol
when the pre made Taco Bell esque shell was brought in my soul just about died
Will is out of his mind. I haven’t seen one where he hasn’t had the lowest score.
I think I'm in love with Remy. Such a lovely personality. God bless you. We need to see more of you.. I just love it!!!
I love these videos because of the judging & the yummy looking food 😍🤤☺️
Notice how they didn’t put Vegan in the title 😂
I'm surprised that Will thought he'd win, he didn't actually cook anything. At least the last one cooked her tofu
1000% making remy’s taco’s today! YUMMY
As soon as he said Homestate I had a feeling he'd win xD
He said pickled cucumber would be good but she did put that on there 😂
Also, why not say "vegan"? So many meat free people would have clicked to watch this. I'm not vegan and I'm only selecting a few videos before bed. Not sure if I would've picked this as one of my 3 videos if I knew it was vegan but to me they looked good so 🤷🏼♀️
so every meal you ever ate contained meat?
@@rebekka8887 no? I'm just turned off by tofu. I said it looked good, did I not?
@@rebekka8887 almost, actually
I think not putting it on the title might actually be better because then people aren't biased and watch it with a closed mind or not at all. This way, we all learn how to make awesome vegan tacos! I am not vegan, but I think we could all learn to incorporate more veggies and less meat into our diets
@@superemillita2710 I agree with you except I think people who want this kind of content are going to pass it by because it doesn't specify.
17.7 😂 such a jolly and positive person
Oh Remy… we all want to try the taco WITH you 😜💀
As a Mexican from America, I’m thoroughly entertained with these “tacos” lol 😂
You know what would be great on these? Pickled cucumber, as he looks down at the pickled cucumber 😂😂😂😂
I think Will was having a very off day or something. Was there a mix-up or something that led to him finding out about this at the last hour?". A crisped up corn tortilla with a little bit of charring would have been good, and would have provided a boost to chili sauce on cold tofu slices. I'm sure it's fine, but a letdown to be served as a great idea. Can't help but believe that if someone else served an equivalent to him, he would have given at best, a 5. Also, there *_was_* pickled cucumber on Olivia's tacos. Maybe he meant to say something different.
It would be really cool if you could get actual vegan chefs for these episodes. I think there were a lot of great vegan ingredients/protein sources that were overlooked here that a vegan chef may have known about (ex: impossible meat, cauliflower, vegan cheese, jackfruit, Just Egg, potato, etc.). I’m so glad Remy at least used beans but I’m surprised no one else did.
Rabbit food is for rabbits.
@@necrogenesis1981 you must have the unhealthiest shits
@@schnozz4301 it’s a snack, it doesn’t matter that much lol
I thought this was going to be regular tacos but, this was pretty enlightening.
As a US citizen, I love this channel. I also love that they call what we call "peppers", "capsicum"
Guys, I'm a bit confused is Remy's shirt ripped in the underarms, at 7:10, or is it a new fashion trend?
I was looking for this comment 😂 why are there holes 😭
😂😂😂
Same
Also confused!
Finallllyyyy ….. I scrollled and scrollllleddd for this comment
Unless it's a tortilla shell I cannot imagine a chef not making their own tortillas. They are so easy to make.
The Rollercoaster of volume in their vowels is killing me lmao
can we have a whole production with just REMI PLEASEEEEEEEEE
hahah Remy is a good sport. dude was suprised that he even won😂
I'm drooooooiling guys. Definitely making these first chance I get☺️
Am I the only one that recognized Remy from Spiderman Far From Home!? 😭❤️
Love the vegetarian/vegan friendly options❤😊
I LOVED Remy in Marco Polo - underrated show, massively underrated actor
Marina’s taco is the one I wanted to try most tbh
Remy and Will all day....they are adorable
When I rewatch Crazy Rich Asian few hours ago, Alistairs characters were seems familiar. Look up the cast name and instantly remember this eps where I first saw him 😂
I love that you made this vegan/plant based! Can you do more please?
I knew he'd win when I saw the outcome
I was focused on Remi's ripped shirt 😂 wasn’t sure if it was on purpose or an accident 🤣
I’m a meat eater but love my veggies too and WOW most of these tacos look delicious! Gonna try these.
Remy is so cute and respectful 🤍
Love Remy. Also, I didn't know he was a chef. He played Allister in "Crazy Rich Asians." I knew I knew his face
Love the pickled radish and onion- authentic as!
I knew Remy would win when he said “pico de gallo” correctly lol. Plus his name is Remy like from Ratatouille🤣❤️But seriously, his tacos looked the best.
good way to start the afternoon
Also, Will Mahusay was fun with his tasty crispy 🌮tacos. Yihaw!!! 🙂🤠
YES I LOVE CHEFS TRY ive been waiting for this for sooooo long
I think i'm in love with Remy....so gorgeous and he can cook
I would love to see Mexican Moms react to this!
everyone seemed really sweet and it was cool to see what they came up with, but i’m begging y’all to research more on what tacos/salsas really consist of 🥲 i’d never relate cold flour tortillas/hard shells with tacos (small corn tortillas are typically used)
also big props to remy to sticking with a little bit more of traditional taco flavors (beans, pickled onions, and radish are pretty common additions!)
Was wondering where I recognized Remy from… far from home! Great movie!
Would love to see takes on traditional tacos
When I saw this vid and saw Wil from Sydney Cebu Lechon I got excited because I thought it’d be a pork chicharones or pork sisig taco then he did tofu and I got confused and my taste buds got a little sad 😂 All the tacos have great elements that look delicious thatI’ll give a go but I’m not a fan of either beans or tofu so I will give the mushroom taco a go first.
Btw if you have tried Sydney Cebu Lechon it’s bloody delicious. 🤤 Crispy skin and juicy flavourful meat. The marinade of Cebu Lechon is way more flavourful than regular Lechon (Filipino suckling pig)
how did i get here buzzfeed it’s 8am
Remmmyyyyyyyy
I'm in love
This guy is 🔥🔥
if youre going to make tacos, the least you could do is use corn tortillas. its literally the staple grain of mexico
Remy's is closest to how I make mine so I'm happy 😊
Did he not know his shirt was ripped 😂 or is it part of the style Lmao
please write these up !!
Omg Remy was in Crazy Rich Asians 😮
And Spiderman FfH
Australians really enjoy their food
“You know what i would put on here, some pickled cucumber” …. She literally says she put pickled cucumber on there😂🤦🏼♀️
I was wondering where I knew Remy from, he was in the recent Princess Switch movie and Spider-Man far from home 😂
