It's like BuzzFeed, but down under. We're a bit cooked, not afraid to get deep and sometimes we'll make you crack up. New videos every week!
When I heard them say someone made noodles from scratch, I knew Ryan would be in this video.
Same. As soon as I heard that, I was like, it HAS to be Ryan.
What ryan is doing on buzzfeed he should have his own cooking show ….
His cooking skills is on point. Wow!
Didn't he say he made the oil too?!
We love you, Ryan! Your food is making me so jealous and hungry! Lol😅
Fun fact, I learnt how to make the noodles when I shot a video with Jasmine Pak from Tasty in the US. Always grateful to have these cool experiences.
Y’all need to pin this comment!,!
I saw you from somewhere. Yup can't remember 🤔🤔🤔🤔
You are unreal! I thought the lasagne sheets from fresh was a new level but noodles too?! I’m amazed!
What does this have to do with this video? 🤔🙃😵💫
@@jshaianne26 duhhh he’s in the video????
Steph’s so full of energy.. love it 😂
I was looking for this comment
As always, Ryan out here doing the most. I love it.
I wish Karima's udon got higher marks; it seemed so original in that it was a different take but still introduced the same fundamental concepts. 10000% would try it
I think it would work better with bulgur or vermicelli noodles 😍 it’s hard to associate noodles with anything but sticky savory sweetness! A for effort though
Ikr! It’s the one I wanna try the most
na bro that was weird 😂
originality isn't everything.
that is not stir-fry noodles. you needad rice-noodles to soak the marinate
thank you so much for having me!!! everything was delicious I wish I brought a takeaway box lolol
Ryan is a fucking legend, always going the extra mile 💃🏼
It's so satisfying watching him cook
he loves going the extra mile with the BuzzFeed executives at the Christmas party
When Steph said "bust down" I was like "YAAAAASSSS!!!!!! BUSS DOWN, STEPHIANA!!!!"
Karimas dish was slept on. Those flavors called out to me. The creativity and conception 😍
I would’ve loved that one 😍
Yeah. I think it was impressively creative.
karima's dish is the most unique one. should've had higher score but maybe the spiciness prevented it from getting higher score. still, well done karima!
most unique doesnt mean its the best tasting, to be honest it wasn't even a "stir fry", it's like saying spaghetti is a tomato stir fry
I don’t think it was due to the spice, Ryan’s was spicy but scored well. I think it’s because they’re unfamiliar with the palette
I think it would have worked so much better with potato fries. We do that in Central Asia. Think not everything can be paired with noodles
I love how they enjoy others meal and give generous score and comment. ♥️
Meanwhile in other similar channel like Buzzfeed UK or else the chef always act like they about to throw up and mocking others dishes.
I am from the UK and have really enjoyed the BuzzfeedOz for this reason (more the chef videos though, the ones that are just "Aussies try" have some reactions like that :/
It's really great to see the passion and respect (although its sad there is such a low bar for basic respect 🙃)
I love seeing these videos because I'm always so excited to see how amazing Ryan's dishes are! At this point it's just impressive lol
Janice is lovely, her smile is just contagious 😊
Ryan puts so much effort for each recipe ! It's made of love ❤️
Kudos to you!
He used store made sauce?
@@Yungdil he used chilli oil
@@sravanthisampara that’s not just chili oil lol. It’s literally used for hot pot
@@Yungdil ok
The winning dish was definitely the most traditional and looked most authentic to me, but I would personally choose Ryan's dish if I saw it on a menu.
Steph is great!!! So funny. Please bring her back
She gave me life!
@@fxncis yasss buss down
@@fxncis youre hella sexy
She is a damn cheater Ryan should have won.
@@MrsJen_xoxo Ryan's was not nearly as better as steph. His had too much going on to it. Steph won fair and square and definitely not a cheater
karima’s udon looks SOOOO good oh my god
Bussdown bussdown LMAOOO !!
Karima was really generous with scores!
She said about noodles from scratch and instantly I knew it was Ryan lol
Ugh I hate how generic this comment is….
But Janice is a vibe. Please bring her back for more videos!
yeah i was suprised to see her here myself LOL
HELLO HELLO HELLO. i was missing that
The beef chow fun is the least original and probably the least complex, but the stir fry technique and approach to making it was really good. There's nothing wrong with being creative and experimental in terms of ingredients and sauces, but you need to master the tradition and know why the tradition works the way it does.
chow fun needs the wok hei to give it that extra depth of flavour
and overloading a pan, not having the pan or oil hot enough or not having a strong enough flame affects the outcome
master the basics first! 🔥
@@sydkoh1078 You explained it much better than I could have!! :)
@@sydkoh1078 yes, the guo xin (I learned it in Mandarin haha) is definitely what makes a stir fry. The heat and maillard effect of the caramelization is what makes a stir fry a stir fry. Throwing everything into the pan together is a bit of a mistake, because the release of all the juices is gonna make everything a bit soggy (that’s what she said).
I love that Ryan made his own noodles.
"If anyone tells you they don't like bean sprouts throw them out" lol forreal forreal
Always a love for Ryan, but my girl Steph... love her!!!!
I love these videos. These are my favorite ones where they try each other’s dishes.
The shawarma stir fry was so interesting. It really opened my mind! I mean you can make a cheeseburger dumpling and plenty of other dishes so why not cross other cultures for a stir fry?
I really loved all these new chefs! A pleasant to watch! and of course our lovely Ryan!
BRO the first chef is KILLING ME "You want to make it juicy and soft in the middle..... like me..... HEHE" bhahahahah
omg when i heard the "hi babes" i was sO HAPPY TO SEE STEPH she's one of my fave food content creators on tiktok
FR I LOVE HER
All of these look delicious and a lot of effort was put into them. But I think steph’s stir fry with the wok hey probably took it to the next level which is essential in stir fry. But everyone’s stir fry looked incredible
Stephs energy is awesome!
I love that everyone gave their honest opinions and not just to trash the next person to win. Very refreshing
Steph has an awesome personality and I just love Ryan ❤
Also Janice is so kind and cool
“It is she” period sis 😂😂
Steph had me dying
the chefs from buzzfeed australia are so wholesome 🥰🥰🥰
Such a wholesome group
maaaaan, i would kill to see Ryan pick a fellow TastyOz teammate and compete on My Kitchen Rules !!!
OMG this needs to happen
@@ryanpaturzo947 RIGHT like brb while I slide right into Manu’s DMs 🤩🤩🤩
I’m in Canada and honestly I’ll advocate for you from across the globe!!
I just love how versatile Stir-Fry is. You can really create a massive variety of flavours and textures.
Ryan and Karmimas got my attention! I’m all for spice 🥰
YESSS NEW CHEF'S TRY LET'S GOOOO
Ryan is so talented
I don't know what it is with this video, but it's soooo refreshing! Such a nice watch

I was saying the same.

Ryan always does his pasta or noodles from scatch, his recipes are always a knock out
I love Janice so much!! Bring her back more :D

Omg loooove Steph!!! Lucky dragon is my favvvv!! Go Steph!!!
They all looked amazing!!! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Ryan's dish is 💣 as always! 🤤
Steph's dish looked glorious. Now I need some beef chow fun.
I'll take the shawarma stir fry! That looked so good.
Ryan is literally the sweetest ✨
I AM SO GLAD STEPH WON BECAUSE HERS LOOKS SO DELICIOUS like I wanted to eat some so bad it looks so flavorful and good I had a feeling she was gonna win hers is the best
Gosh Steph is a mood 😗❤️
When Ryan said her dish has healing powers
Watching this at 2am like 👁👄👁
JANICE AHHH ONE OF MY FAVORITE UA-camRS
YES JANICE
janice is so sweet
Juicy and swaaft...like me hehehe😂😂
Took me out
Would be interesting to see Steph do a cooking episode with another famous Australian chef, Reynold Poernomo.
Janice Yay. I love her vlog
I just made the middle eastern stir fry but with Shanghai noodles and it is friggin delicious, HIGHLY recommend. I didn’t have chili oil on hand and it definitely needed that slight extra kick though.
Was so pleasantly surprised to see Janice on this video!
Here for Ryan!!
Man i love their accents. I wish i can visit the oz so bad
Janice is so adorable 😍
I need more videos with Karima
I loved what she did
Ginger and Garlic, Man Ryan would really appreciate Indian Cuisine.
Ryans looked crazy ive never seen anything like that i want to try it so bad!!!!❤️🤩
Adore fusion. Need to try Karima's dish!
Ryan needs his own cookbook.
Rayan is super human 🤗❤️
I was really hoping to see Char Kway Teow, Mee Hoon or Chee Chong Feung. My three absolute favourite noodle dishes. Cant half tell I love Malaysian food. :-) Hopefully next time.
I am malaysian and love all that. Char keow teow is one of my absolute favourite malaysian food. Do you like KL hokkien noodles? It has thick yellow hokkien noodles and in a dark black sauce
@@lildevil872 Yes very much so.
“meatiness from the meat” 😂
I made Steph's 🍜 noodles and omg do yourselves a favour!! Yumm! 🤤❤
Ryan is my favorite cook 👨🍳 for sure yaaaaaaassss ☺️😉
What I love about these vids is the real chefs are always so supportive of each other. The home cooks in the other vids like this are always so ridiculous.
Ryan's had my mouth watering.
Steph's for me
all this food look delish
someone tell Steph i love her🥹
Always end up hungry.. ughh .. lol great job
YESSSSS STEPHHHHH!
reunite them 👏🏽 reunite them 👏🏽
Ryan’s is my dream dish omg
I already wanted some good noodles and I've just moved to a different city and now I just wanted even more. Everything looks so wonderful!
Ayeee bussdown buss down buss down i mess with Step, she needs to be back ASAP
I SOOOO WANT TO HAVE KARIMA'S UDON 😭😭😭😭😭
As good as home made noodles are, idk why no one is pointing out that Ryan used pre made/store brought sauce? And trust me, as good it made seem for his chili oil. His wasn’t all that, the color was way too light. Oh don’t get me started on someone complained about how beef chow fun is too easy. When all ryan did was mix everything in his “sauce.”
Exactly so much praise because he made the noodles when it looked like a meh dish
Hater
Fr. And his had too much going on stir fry is a simple dish not a party
When I see Ryan I click the video so fast ❤
