- Quick warm up run to get used to GU again after having lent my Switch to my little brother for a few months. For now most GU runs will probably be with LS because that's pretty much the only endgame set I have right now on my english savefile.

Silver los is the best I got as well aside from gx old fatty as far as pure damage sets go, them god charms are scarce D:

Just got in MHGU and I am having a hard time parrying with LS. I am almost tempted to go back to Adept DBs :(
I recommend adept db first to get used to the monster's attack patterns and its easier to use it than valor longsword as positioning is key

The LS with the valor style has a parry on the R button when you're in valor mode
So canta tell me, in order to counter attack astalos' hits you just press R right in the moment when you receive and attack? I don't understand pretty well, please help me
First hit of the spirit combo has a parry when you are in valor mode

I dont get it when i use valor ls my valor meter drains so fast and i cannot counter with L when there is no meter on the sword how is dis even possible?
It's weird to me how I love using Long Sword in Monster Hunter World, but hate using it in the other games because of how often I miss with my attacks on those games.
I'm not even sure what I'm particularly doing wrong on 4U and GU to be absolute ass with Long Sword. I don't have that problem on World, even if I confess that I am not near the level of perfected skill that you display at this.

Nah, you can that roar, a bit tricky for me to get used to it in GU tho because the timing is different from world. Funnily enough though, this is the only attempt where I failed to roll through that roar but it's still my fastest out of the few attempts I had done.

@@officialkirin7219 that happens as you get better! 3U was intense for me, 4U was rough, Gen was kinda hard, world was easy, GU i solo'd up to/beat ahtal ka! Lao shan, and rajang were my only speedbumps in g rank on GU, but for me it makes me enjoy the games more by them not feeling as hard anymore
