- Haven't uploaded a video in a while and Nargacuga just got announced with the G-rank expansion for World so I figured I might as well do a quick Narga run to let you know that I'm still alive and to show off the monster that everyone (myself included) is so excited about.

that was truly epic
Bullfango always come at the most unexpected moment and from the most unexpected angle. But somehow canta was able to dodge and counter it.
That's what that Bullshitfango gets for constantly interrupting us hunters.

I really love nargacuga. Their attacks are direct and straight forward, no delays, no feint, no circling, no wide area-continuous damage, no tremor, no long roar. Trully a fun monster to fight.

I started with World, but I intentionally look up Valor Longsword runs because it looks nothing short of spectacular. Like, look at moments like 1:38 and 2:53 and tell me with a straight face that’s not some of the tightest shit you’ve ever seen. Valor Style for next MH, please.

And this kind of videos are making it seem that the valor counters are easy to pull off. It's like a millisecond time frame. Not to mention constantly pulling off many timeS consistently. Canta has beast reflexes.

Hey CantaPerMe. When you're learning a monsters attacks, and how to position accordingly, do you always react just to the attack, or try to follow a pattern. How do you go about it?

G rank Narga in this game is insane, way faster way more unpredictable, makes World Narga look like a chump.
His enraged pounces always throw me off.
I can't wait for newcomers to face Nargacuga. Probably my favorite thing about World bringing in new people to the franchise is the possibility of introducing them to the old monsters they missed out on in the future.
getting back old monsters in new monster hunter games will always be a treatment, narga will get way more fans than he has right now just watch.
If only they could bring tigrex and zinogre too in MHW :(

Ayyy. I was actually struggling with this fight with this weapon and style (but it wasn't G rank...). I'd only fought Narga with weapons like DBs and SnS before, and they were fast enough to let me just walk past some attacks, but I was finding it hard to keep up with LS. I'm gonna watch this a few times and give it another whirl!
Hmm, I think my biggest problem was that I didn't abuse the Valor sheathe enough before activating Valor mode. Parrying Narga's stuff is mostly practice, but I couldn't keep up before activating Valor because I couldn't find chances to land the sheathe cancel moves reliably. I guess catching his turnaround was big.
Narga is the best Monster to counter with valor parry, also you can easily practice the ls valor parry with this monster
And here i am always get spanked by the bullfango, EVERY GODDAMN TIME

Hey Canta, there's actually a much tankier version of this set now with the new Elder sets. GX White Fatalis body/waist and Z Silver Los everything else. You need at least an Expert +10 oo- charm though but with one you can get these exact same abilities with nearly 150 more defense.

The english version of this game is on the Switch only.

If you attack with X after countering, you can counter again afterwards
Can someone explain to me how at 0:58 does he do : Valor Spirit Slash 1 (with guard point), then an upward slash, and then another Spirit Slash with guard point. If I press R after the upward slash, it's a Spirit Slash 2 or 3 which has no guard point.
Doing an X attack after a successful parry will reset the spirit combo, allowing for another parry right after

If there's a slight delay afte the 2nd sweep, he'll jump at you one more time before doing the final leap

depends on the matchup but most of the time Striker is the best style for DB
So as someone who started with World, what's up with the hype for Narga? I'm genuinely curious cause I see everyone raving about him and I'm just wondering
Very nostalgic monster that originated from one of the most beloved games in the franchise for veterans, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite I think. At the time, Narga was a very unique monster, emphasizing speed and quick attacks moreso than any other monster. Many players felt accomplished when beating it, as Nargacuga was a great monster for learning when to dodge attacks at the right moment.
Overall, it's a very iconic and memorable monster for longtime fans.
