The quality of your videos just keeps getting better. Well done on your film making journey, must take a lot of effort to set up the shots, edit etc. Don't forget to enjoy it!
*_Hello, my natural friend, Mr. Geordie... I like your adventurous style, solo camping in a location with very beautiful natural scenery, I like it and I support it... Greetings to me Rudy Outdoor Tutorial from Indonesia_* 👣⛰🏕💯👌👍🙏
You had a great spot there, lovely sense of space and solitude and not too far from the tarn. I definately wouldn't have enjoyed being within earshot of groups of folk if I'd hiked up there for peace and quiet. Beautiful views and timelapse
Nice video. Ive got Angle tarn on my list but always heard its too busy so wasnt near the top of my wishlist. After watching this ill be visiting sooner than later and heading further out like you, excellent spot.
Good morning. Firstly I have to say I really enjoy how you often have a new tent to try out. It's very helpful for those looking to start or extend their collection of abodes. Secondly wow that sunset. 👏 🎉. I agree, solitude is the reason I camp. Its always worth looking further for that perfect pitch. Another stunning video Stephen. Say hello to jess. Those views were incredible. I'm glad you got the quiet pitch you were craving. Take care and have a good weekend 😊
thanks Emz, yeah i got lucky finding a decent pitch away from the crowds. Im very lucky to get to test these tents its a bit of a hobby but glad i can showcase them for everyone.. thanks again
Re Facebook mention... Found it 👍 it looked happy sat up there. I nearly bought a sil one, but was torn on wether to get the stove Jack included. I'd probably never get round to committing to buy a Ti stove and a bag big enough to carry it along with fuel etc. I do like their hunting packs that are designed for packing in and out, heavy loads I comfort. Ps. They're a long way from Canada 😉 Props on a nice clean video without the palava some add. Fair winds fella. #staysalty sithee 👍
I'm clagged in on the fells currently seeing the views vicariously 😅 looks like a decent pitch, definitely some inventive to push on past the crowds. The Silex looked a bit small sleeping wise for my liking, but you've caught my attention with the stove jack...
Cracking location that Ste with a lovely sunset over the Helvellyns. Interesting tent with the hot tent feature built in, not something you tend to see on ultralight shelters. Thanks for sharing - BR
got to be worth the hype for skies like that☀️👌last time i camped there it was a week day so quite apart from a guy walking around bollock naked 🤨 can't remember who's vid i was watching but the had some great little magnetic tie backs for fly sheet door.(could have been milsey).
Cracking video...I went up for the first time couple fridays ago, it was a wee bit busy and i had to drop down to the tarn due to the wind. but all the islands had people on haha, but i didnt really see rubbish and everyone keep a respectful distance 😀 definitely pop back again but maybe during the week or out of season
Cracking spot, well worth the extra effort, I deffo couldn’t camp at the tarn like, no chance 😊. Tent looks canny, I use magnetic bands as an extra door tie back on the Durston, they’re spot on, £10 for 6.Beaut of a sunset that with drone footage to boot, like you say worth the trip itself! Really enjoyed this Steve, Atb mate 👍
Deffo looks a canny tent wish I'd known go lightweight before spent fortunes 😂can't see point pitching near others space to chill for me looking into trekking pole tents so another to consider now great drone footage too grand vid alroond youngan 😂
Nice camp Steven , your right about the cloud tho ,deffo get better sunsets or sunrises. And you certainly got one 🌅 I’m a loner so wouldn’t be camping near that tarn which attracts the masses, but you found an isolated beauty of a spot atb Dave ⛺️👍
Nice chilled video as always 😊. The problem is angle tarn has been over popularised and it’s very accessible. It’s a lovely spot to go to (where isn’t in the lakes?) but I’d never camp there. I’d push on for some solitude somewhere else like you did, and you got the 5 star views! Like the sliding door on that tent as well, very slick! Thank you.
Don't envy that climb up! I came down that way and it was super steep and a little confusing lower down as the path kind of disappears. Angle tarn is every bit as beautiful as highlighted but it's far too peopley for me. I save it til winter as it's still.really accessible bit waaay quieter 😊 Take care mate, Adge
Looks better than the notch. I’ve seen Seek Outside’s gear and think - as with a lot of so-called ‘cottage brands’- that it’s over-priced and very basic. Like what with your observation about absence of tie-backs. We pay all that money - Do I really want to have to take a clothes line peg in my diddy to do the job. Nice vid btw👍🏼
I hear you buddy. Yeah i know with another tent i have with them they have tie backs so im not too sure but i have provided feedback for future iterations...quality on this tent is superb
The lightest stove for that tent is actually the one from seek outside as more of it is foil. I really wanted this and I'm glad you've got it! I personally think the guardians a bit better for winter so you don't end up touching the stove and ruining your gear
@@thegeordiewildcamper it think it's the same stoves (medium or large) for both tents. I think the guardian is a 2 man too? I probably would have got that but I had just bought an xmid 1p silpoly

yeah, although without the inner its plentiful! im not sure you can use the stove with the inner installed... ight be dangerous.
Cracking sunset, looks a lovely part of the country 👍
It really is!
Camped there before but we hit lucky and were just one of 3 tents which were well spaced out.
thats not bad then really!
SeekOutside is based in Colorado, USA.

thanks Lisa, i think out of season is the way forward with a bit snow and ice to keep the masses away...

Are the masses of tents together as a group? So many tents...... This is what spoils it for one tent wild campers.
yeah there were a mixture - 3/4 tents together which isnt great but i coul hear them as soon as i moved..
