We took on the challenge of making Shrimp Po’ Boys for the first time! 🍤🇺🇸 With crispy fried shrimp, fresh toppings, and a classic New Orleans-style roll, this Southern sandwich is a fan favorite. But here’s the twist-Mr. H doesn’t like seafood! 😱 Will this Po’ Boy change his mind? Watch to find out! #ShrimpPoBoy #BritsTry #NewOrleansFood #Seafood #CookingFirsts #Shorts
It's really cool that you two are raising a child with the idea that trying new foods is good and not scary. Even helping your niece try new foods is extra fun & important for larger things in life later on.
Alivia was a hard sell. I bet she changes her mind in a few years. Now Elana, she's going to sneak one! I hope she isn't allergic, because she has the beginnings of an exotic palate! Glad you all liked it too! They are good! Merry Christmas H's! BLY!
PoBoys are FANTASTIC! My favorite is grilled shrimp or perhaps balckened with tartar sauce instead of mayo then iceberg lettuce and tomato. Fantastic. I had a great one once that was fried shrimp with serious pork belly bacon, the thick kind, and fully dressed. Roast beef with debris gravy is always good as well. SO many good options to chose from but a great shrimp poboy is always my first choice. beed
Just a hint on large sandwiches. After you make it, wrap it in wax paper, parchment paper or butcher paper. It squishes the sandwich innards together, making it more cohesive and easier to eat.
hey y'all!! Merry Christmas from Pineville, Louisiana!! for the heck of it, there's a 'po boy shoppe' in the area, and on the web, called po boy express. i suggest you 'have a look' to get some ideas. and for trying that sandwich, bravo!!
merry Christmas, I believe breaded or assault and battered shrimp are a work of the debble. these shrimps and there fore the sammich would be much yummier if butter and garlic type baste was done on skewers or a grilling basket type thing. and don't over cook the danged things, grill hot and baste and turn until they are opaque/white, just a very few minutes, do not cook them like beef, you did get fresh shrimp, right? now, one more time...

Isn't that a roast beef sandwich ? I think of a po' boy as being sea food.

My sister won't eat seafood unless it's fried.
No remoulade on the sandwich??
Did you dig out the center of the baguette? It doesn't look like it.
