The way you did the top of the dome with the triangular bricks was spectacular, I've built about 3 ovens know and I know what effort you put in with the cuts and etc. I just wanted to say I really did appreciate the craftsmen ship you did with this build. Congratulations, Again I was really impressed!!
@@maheswarnaik3400 typically for the floor they use 2” ceramic fiber board, and for the dome of the oven we use 1” fiber blanket as insulation, typically people will do 2 layers off it.
Awesome build! Could you perhaps provide a material list for those of us who aspire to create something as beautiful as this? That angle setter wooden thing you used to set your brick is especially interesting!
Brilliant! The 'prep area' is something not many people think about when building these and the top of the dome finish was ingenious. Saved for when I get around to doing mine
It just amazes me that people can do things like this lol every time I think about building one I see videos like this and I just give up looks like a ton a work
Buenas noches. Felicitaciones por el video. Quisiera saber cuántos ladrillos refractarios fueron necesarios para hacer la cúpula. Saludes desde Colombia. Gracias
I bet when that thing is cured properly and for its relatively small size, you could probably get that thing close to 1200°F...Bake a 🍕 in about 90 seconds 😋!! Well done!
What is your method of keeping the chimney in place before adding refractory castable? Is it sitting on something between the arches? Using the the rebar or something else to keep it in place?
Well made. That's for sure. But... why build it directly on the ground?? Without any kind of isolation under the basement, the cold coming from the ground will make the oven cool much faster.
Great job, and thanks for sharing! I have some questions, if u don’t mind. I’d like to know how many bricks did u use for the whole project, the size of them, and the inner diameter of the oven ( it seem 1m). Thanks once more!
Good job! Could u tell me the inner diametre of the oven, and how many bricks (and the dimension of them also pls) did u use for this? It would be great to see it in action too. Or your impressions of using it. Thanks 4 share anyway.
High Refractory Motor is the best practice in conjunction with fire brick. A Soapstone floor (single piece) is the best floor for high heat pizza ovens (+1100°). The ceramic blanket is a must have for wood ovens to reach the pizza sweet point of 900°- 950°. It's better to reach that degree with anthracite coal. It's also a better tasting pizza. A pizza at that temp will cook in 30-45 SECONDS. I also recommend a damper in the chimney stack with a smoke chamber to help stop wind and rain from blowing down onto the floor.
@@triplescorpio soapstone even though an excellent choice has been know to crack also . Then you have to try and remove the piece . With herringbone pattern and firebrick it’s easier to remove a broken brick .
I was wondering the same, it's an angle grinder with a blade for brick/stone. when the jig can't make a smooth turn I think he makes a cut so it fits better making a rounder dome. that's my guess anyway!
Hi Iv build similar one to yours. After you’ve had it 2 years what are the good and bad points. Mine are smoke can’t get away threw the chimney that well and should have built it in the roof of the dome if I’m honest it would have extracted it better. Plus do you find the oven takes a very long time to get to temp (white oven) how long does yours take
Beautiful artistic labour. Love your work attitude, prepared, clean in control of your work and your attention to details is top notch. Please air your video in a normal motion so we can enjoy your art more.
Didn't you face any problem with the chimney? I mean when you fire this the metallic chimney will expand and that may cause problems. Did you face any such problem? How did you solve it?
That’s not a pizza oven. That’s a masterpiece. Worth being in a museum and shown to the world. A video which must be shared.

Do you think is ok how he just layd the floor bricks without insulation will it create any problems
?
Friggin GORGEOUS! One of the cleanest builds I've seen! Looking into buying my floor blocks next week.
Awesome build! Could you perhaps provide a material list for those of us who aspire to create something as beautiful as this? That angle setter wooden thing you used to set your brick is especially interesting!
Using the slope of the Hill as the elevated platform For the oven you can tell this dude knows what he’s doing from day one. I feel inspired !
He’s a white dude. Of course he knows
Wait until rain comes
Genius build. Love the prep station off to the side as well!
Brilliant!

Trabajo fantástico, perfecto! Genial!
Nice work. I would have stopped on the pizza oven itself about eight steps before you did. Lol. Hats off to taking it the extra mile.

I was sure the end of this vid was going to be the fire department coming to free you from the dome after you bricked yourself in.
you look great, congratulations on exquisite workmanship and aesthetics

Muito bom, parabéns 👏🏻🇧🇷
Nice Work, Loved it!
Very well done...Bravo!
You are really amazing with your work. Nobody did such a good video like your. 👍👍👍excellent job .
Excellent craftsmanship, job well done
Have you insulated the floor and submerged the firebricks in the water with what you attached the firebricks to the floor?
that was my question too, looked like he did not insulate the floor at all, so all heat will leach out that way.
Spectacular. Respect ✊
How much do you think it would run if I finished the base but just needed the dome to be made ??
Top job, very impressed 👏
Great work how many bricks did you end up using?
hi,great job! i would like to know what type of metarial you used in 4:46 ?
You may want to add a small wall behind you beautiful oven to keep run off from damage in the future

At exactly 1.54 it shows what he did with two pieces of rebar and some wood.
Meraviglioso , sei un fenomeno.

May i have the name of the central piece please? The one that serve to make measurement of the central of the oven.

What's that corny stuff you put on around 4:17?
Can you link tho those Products?
what is that tool he's using in the middle of dome to set the angle of the bricks of the dome?
Looks like a jig to keep the mortar elevation at the right angle for the next level
