My son was a stone mason and built beautiful pizza ovens and more. He passed away in an accident 2 years ago at 24. He made me a stone wall and hearth for my wood stove. You have a beautiful gift, your mom must be proud! 💕

It will never fall apart. The red clay is superior to any kind of manmade firebrick what do you think they did for thousands of years before they had man-made firebrick ? They still have clay pots in China more than two thousand years old and they still work for cooking just like they always have. Nothing man-made Beats what God made.
    God Bless Y'all.

Math speaking, it will take less than 10,000. Also, you have never had a Neapolitan pizza. Also, in a well-made brick oven, you can cook for two days with residual heat after cooking pizza. Roast, Veggies, potatoes, you name it. The break-even is getting smaller and smaller, and without counting, a photo of you next to the oven. That has no prize. 🙂

You should place the chimney in front of the door. If you place it on top of the clay circle, the heat will escape through the chimney and the stove will lose heat.

Thanks for the video, it's a very good and beautiful piece of work. But certainly done by pros. I notice that you do visible brickwork very well, have you also taken part in competitions? When I was an apprentice, we also did this kind of work indoors, and several of my colleagues won prizes - your work deserves one. We all too often forget that masonry is an Art, and that it's far from simple. It's really very beautiful, is useful and will perhaps give vocations to young people to practice a trade where things remain and are not virtual like many activities these days.Bravo and enjoy your meal !
