In my personal opinion. This is the most beautiful car design ever. It's timeless, it's so beautiful that adding wings and body kits, make look ugly. The design is just perfect from every angle. ❤ I dream of owning one some day. Since I was a kid actually, since 1990. I remember when I was a kid, man I couldn't wait for the commercials to play on TV during baseball games.
Yea man. My brother had a 91 tt manual. With a chip and an exhaust upgrade that thing was a beast. Had to add at least 60+hp. They drive so nice and and also slide very nice, lol. I dont know if it was because I was younger but it felt so fast and I've driven a couple 500hp cars now and non of them seemed as exciting as that z. Very underrated car. Glad you got to try one out but you really need to try a manual version, as you know. Thanks for the vids.. im a rx7 nut to, with a gslse! Keep it up
GT cars like this feel fast as hell, despite how huge and heavy they are. My 88' Supra feels SO much faster to drive than it's actually going compared to smaller cars, even my 01' Celica GTS! My brother has had a 300ZX for 20 years now, I do admit it's a much more powerful car than my Supra, but either way, they really give you the driver's experience that a lot of cars do not.
I just realized.. Datsun/Nissan his been in my life almost since birth! My dad had a small late 70's datsun pickup truck for a work vehicle when I was a kid and my aunt had a early 1980s Z and used to pick up in to stay the night at her place and that's where my love for jdm cars started. I just noticed that after watching this video.
Anyone growing up in the late 80s and 90s was in love with these. So different than everything else on the road....just straight bad ass. My dad and I would scan the roads when we'd go anywhere looking for that rare Z. Irocs and mustangs....dime a dozen.....but these were something unique.
Love the Nissan 300zx, I had 1990 back in 2001 and kept it for 12 years , it wasn't twin turbo but still had enough power..the looks and the handling are what attracted me to it
I really like the BFB test because nowadays everyone (including myself) carries around a big Yeti-style insulated cup, and they never fit all the way in many cars' cupholders. I usually put mine in between my backpack and the passenger seat in my Miata.
I love the 300zx. I fell in love in 1993 when my father was looking at new cars, we tried the Supra TT but it was too expensive at like 45k 1993 money and instead bought a silver 300zx TT.
Your making me CRY bro. Yep.... I had one for 10 year's. 1991 n/a automatic 2+2 leather package on pearl white and tan interior. And started to have interior engine problems with my values at 260k and yep.... time for a new car. 2012 scion Tc Release Series. Believe me it took about a year to get use to my NEW car. Both are rare to find on the streets and stick out from the crowd !!!!!
The low beam headlights sucked on mine but the high beams were so bright in broad daylight in the sun you could see them lighting up the road signs from a 1/4 mile away. Not only that people would flash me in broad daylight like people do at night when you have high beams on. When I had them on during the day it would blind them.
I got lucky and Purchased a 95 NA, 2+2, Auto with only 100,000kms (62,000 miles). But it’s just what I needed considering I’ve got a NA mx5 for the weekend car. I’ve had my Z for a couple months now and I’m loving how comfortable and cruisy it is. Especially coming from a rattly and crashy mx5
Loved your presentation of this z32 beauty. If the owner installed a completion torque converter and mildly booted the power up to just over 400 plus horsepower, that would transform his docile automatic in a demon when accelerating sharply. ha-ha.
great video and super nice condition that one pitty it's auto thou, i have had 1990 2.0 for 20 yrs now, id'e like to clear something up about the headlights people always say the z32 has lambo headlight's, a 300zx z32 does not have lambo Diablo headlights, it's the diablo that has 300zx z32 headlights the Diablo has a cover over part of the light so you can't read the word nissan printed on them. id'e rather hear the truth that lambo chose the z32 lights for there Diablo model which they were on a deadline to finish and bring out but having no headlights designed for it yet so they shoehorned some z32 headlights into it cutting a deal with nissan so they could use them. in my opinon a 300zx 2.0 z32 looks much better than a Diablo
How much did you pay for it? The 1990 in automatic was $75000 AUD back then, it was very expensive. You could buy a 2 bedrooms condo in Sydney then gir the same money
You can find a nice NA one for 5-10k and a turbo for 10k up into the 20ks for decent to really nice low miles. I bought a 1993 NA with perfect interior and a little paint peel with 130k on it for 4800. Great cars and when I was dating a twin peaks girl all the other girls were constantly telling me how nice of a car it was. These are succubus women who think all guys should make 6 figures and drive 50-100k cars to be worthy of them 😂.
This design doesn’t age! Impressive! Still one of the most beautiful cars 😍

I owned one for a few years. Gorgeous to drive, so comfy. Loved it. Only sold as too expensive for me.
100%
One of the best looking cars from the 90s. It was way ahead of its time in design if you ask me.

Still an absolutely gorgeous car inside and out. I really appreciate your passion for this car. One of the most desirable cars ever.

Love the fall foliage and how you incorporated that into the video! Sick car!!

Is the "trunk bathtub test" the evolution of the big friggin bottle test? Great work as always dude. Such a cool car for the early 90s.
Thanks for your enthusiasm, makes me want to get mine back on the road!
I love the 300zx. I fell in love in 1993 when my father was looking at new cars, we tried the Supra TT but it was too expensive at like 45k 1993 money and instead bought a silver 300zx TT.
Might be a reach, but does your father still own the Z? I’ve been looking for a silver TT for ages! 😄
I drove a red 1992 300ZX Turbo working for a car auction in 1995. I love the design and I got to hear both turbo’s spool up.
My brother had a manual TT version about 20 years ago.
Such a beast and awesome high speed cruiser.
Absolutely love the Z32, great car and great review👍🏼
The Maxima 1997 was fantastic...

You do a great job on your b roll. Awesome video Zack 👍

Pro tip: if you remove the cigarette ash tray, you can keep certain sized cups there.
There’s also a slick top/hard top variant plus a custom convertible hard top which is a 1 of 1 concept.
I love this car 1 of my favorites plus racing with it on gran turismo for ps2
The Z32 hands down looks the best out of all of them. I miss my J30. (Not as fast as the Nissan Turbos but still decent.)
The sheer disrespect!!! “The convertible looks hideous” I have a convertible!!! They look AWESOME!!!
Let’s see it!
That car is beautiful🏁
In my mind you have the 300ZX here and everything Nissan made after. Seriously.
I got one before in 2003 and sell it in 2008. Now i regreat it after i saw this video.
0:27 Engine designation VG30DETT. I had a VG30DE in my J30. Infiniti J30 = Y32 chassis..this one: Z32
Your rear wheels are on backward. They need to swap sides to be functionally correct.
Hopefully one day you can review my Fc
Yes it eats up the miles in comfort.
Do a Valve body mod on the auto and then see what happens, 😁

Damn, SWB must be the best!
Time to test the new Pathfinder or another new Nissan so finally a pass again with the BFB test. 😁

You could buy a 2 bedrooms condo in Sydney then gir the same money
Autos had 280hp vs 300 for manuals. Clean Z!
Thanks for the clarification!
I got a 1996 z32 tt 5 speed you can review

Giddy up! Original owner of one as well. 18000 miles.
Anyone have any idea how much these things go for rn?
You can find a nice NA one for 5-10k and a turbo for 10k up into the 20ks for decent to really nice low miles.
