Zack, you are very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the car! and i am happy to report the car is still going strong! Keep up the good work! PS. I put some mufflers on lol.
I personally disagree on a purely aesthetic level. The 2+2 has always looked a bit stretched to me (which it is) but I still love the Z32 with all my heart (especially the TT)! It’s a tie for me between the Z32 and FD RX7 in terms of favorite 90’s Japanese sports cars, though I love the NSX and Supra as well.
I didnt realize till recently researching these that the 2+2 is actually the most saut after version, and it's the one that they would build for racing back in the day. The longer wheel base handled better they say. Also better weight distribution. I woulda thought the opposite, I'd prefer a 2 seater myself but with these car most people couldnt tell the difference unless you parked them side by side and told them the difference..
I’m 15 and I got a 1990 NA non turbo 300zx for my first car and we had to rebuild it a little but it’s about 6hrs from completion I’m so excited to feel a 300 for the first time ❤️❤️🤩🤩
When the z32 was created, Nissan was very proud of producing virtually indestructible cars. This z32 clearly shows that it is loved and enjoyed very much. Thanks for sharing.
I think the 240z is tops but I grew up loving the 300zx and believe it is one of the best looking JDM’s of all time. That body style is timeless. I think the interior is pretty amazing as well.
Nice. Yesterday (for my time zone) with all these new Z reviews coming out here comes this Z review of the Z32. Not the "original" Twin Turbo but hey it fits. And a nice high milage one at that. @9:40 Oh good.
I always dreamed of having one of these back in high school (only the 2+2) but could never afford one. At 10:00 that sounds like me, especially the part where you build the car in your favorite video game (need for speed or midnight club) and then the model becomes solidified as one of the all time greats in your mind
That Z looks really good for the age and miles. It's surprising that it largely escaped modding. I like the long wheelbase proportions. It's got Lamborghini headlights! Nissan did a good job cherry-picking the most iconic Z bits for the new one. No leaks might mean they've never been opened, or at least not in the last 20 years. My old Jeep's windshield frame gasket barely leaks but putting the windshield down would destroy the gasket so I've never put it down. Aftermarket gaskets don't fit right. Not operating the T-tops will leave the gaskets as they are and keep the bits up against the glass and metal from dry-rotting. There's one of these with the junkiest rattiest body kit you could imagine farting around my neighborhood. Swoops and scoops and faded primer and cracked fiberglass and fake Ferrari taillights. It might have looked decent 20 years ago when tuners were big but it hasn't received any upkeep since.
@@womanofgoldenwords3881 Correct.....Diablo headlights were from this car!!....That's how impressed the Lamborghini cats were with it.....the design was and still is stunning.
5:18 My 2+2 back seat fit people fine. No complaint from them and my family will always complain if they're uncomfortable. They also don't weigh 200 + pounds...
The 2+2 just looks long and wonky to me. The 2+0 is where the money is! Those miles are crazy but if you leave the NA unmolested in stock form I could see it being reliableish. It’s still a Z32 though and they all suffer from the same problems. Love my Z32 but it is a toy that is never relied on to be actual real transportation.
2+2s look great with a TT wing but wingless they look a bit too long imo.. I've owned both and personally I thought the 2+2 has a more exotic look to it while the 2 seater looked more sporty. Its like comparing a Murcielago to a Gallardo
I've owned both the 2+2 and the standard.....the 2+2 is much easier to live with as a daily driver. In my opinion, THE first Japanese supercar available in the states.... Jay Leno dissed the entire Z32 line.....ummm, he obviously forgot what Steve Millen's crew did with the Z32.....decimated the GT class for many years.....so freaking fast the car would do 180 degree endos off hill crests.
If you modify that car and get over 400 horsepower that car requires constant maintenance every day you have to do something to it Also you don't think of that car like A2JZ or an FD Halo cars that turn people's heads at shows no one cares about those cars
You gotta be kidding me that is the ugliest car Nissan ever Made! The 2 + 2 are the most hideous production Nissan ever made . Working at the Nissan dealership in the nineties we couldn't get rid of those cars every time we sold a 2 + 2 we had to laugh and make fun of the idiot Customers That got scammed into purchasing the 2 Plus 2 The normal 300 is so much better looking than a 2 + 2 I can't believe that car survived it belongs in the scrapyard But idiot wants a 2 + 2 you can't even use the back seats
Most people wouldn’t be able to tell a 2+2 and a 2+0 unless they were next to each other. Nissan had made much uglier cars too *cough *cough Murano CrossCabriolet, Pulsar NX
Zack, you are very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the car! and i am happy to report the car is still going strong! Keep up the good work!

How much you want for it?
The 2+2 always looked nicer than the regular, looks more proportional
100% right on.

@@VNCTHE1fr, waiting for an update
The 300Zs of this era were so beautiful, and beyond the reach of most people. 42K in 1996 was a hefty chunk of change.
When the z32 was created, Nissan was very proud of producing virtually indestructible cars.
This z32 clearly shows that it is loved and enjoyed very much. Thanks for sharing.
In Tennessee there’s this guy josh who has a 800k mile z32. Original engine finally got rebuilt at 650k
Holy moly, according to the sticker @10:52 this thing cost $77,497.43 after being adjusted for inflation.
IMO, still the best looking of all the Z's...and that includes the new 2023 model.
I think the 240z is tops but I grew up loving the 300zx and believe it is one of the best looking JDM’s of all time. That body style is timeless. I think the interior is pretty amazing as well.
It's because of the fuel tank location on the 2 seater the tank is closer to where the rear seats are on the 2+2 hence the cap location change
I had that same shift knob in my Miata.. Actually I have it put up somewhere in my garage but it’s in red though. Also THANKS TIM!!!
Haha, no problem! Interesting we have the same shift knob lol.

Love the 2+2s. Had a 300zx, a few 260zs and they were always fun

It doesn’t have Lamborghini headlights silly.
Lamborghini has Nissan headlights.

One of my favorite cars I’ve ever owned was my Z 32 TwinTurbo
Dude
I'm in luv with your channel
My 93 TT has 177k miles, everything still works and turns heads everywhere.
Its so bizzar that you could but a longer back seat version of the 300zx. i cant imagine that ever happing again with future Z cars.
I owned a 95 2+2. That car was built like a tank.
That's an aftermarket shift knob. I bought the same one for my Honda Fit Sport!
1996 was the year I graduated from high school. Back then the high school did have automotive department, but not anymore
Just bought one with 12k miles
The ash tray easily pops out so you can use the space as a cup holder.
I had one of these in highschool. Such a cool car for the money. Paid $3k for it. A few times people asked me if it was a super car.
My Z31 300zx t tops don't leak.
Zack just get a nice 2x2 Turbo now as prices are on the up! its the japanese lamborghini!
10:00 Looks like the e brake is on.
Do you notice any difference in the 2+2 and 2+0 chasis? Since the 2+2 has a slightly longer wheelbase.
2+2 has a larger turn radius, accelerates slightly slower, and is slightly inferior in slalom. I own both and those are the major differences.
@@Slays_Media Ah okay thanks!
@@Slays_Media So if i understand correctly, the handling of the 2+0 is slightly better?
@@Nachtpyro no, the 2+2 has a 50/50 weight distribution making it the best handling Z32 model
2+2 supremacy

Front driver side and rear passenger wheels are on backwards
As the owner of a 1991 Z32 twin turbo I beg to differ with you. The twin turbo Z is much faster than the N/A Z !

Nissan really makes great cars when they are ready …………if I ever buy Japanese it’s them, not the others.
U got to buy that car zac.
I got to drive a 1991 300zx 2+2 and that thing goes man, it easily beat a 2007 stock rx7 (the 300 was also stock) with paddle shifters.
I like classic cars
There were called dog seats for a reason.
222k and still pushing never say a vg30 not reliable
The twin turbo is much faster don't just say the difference is not big
it was the first engine fully designed in CAD. so its Realllllly cramped in there.
my t tops leaked
The best Z car .
I Know About the Backseats. How Tall Are You?
The headlights on the 300zx are just timeless and classic. Looks so much better than the new 2022 Nissan Z , whose headlights look like the miata 😒
