I realize I made a confusing choice and mistake in the video, and instead of saying the character names, I say the names of the games that they’re from! Apologies for the confusion, that’s totally on me. Thanks for being here!
Interesting video! Main characters are always a great pull for some games, although I wonder what about games that don't have an in game main character? How do you instil character into the game itself?
I don't love leaving negative comments, so I'll first say that I thought it was a good idea for a video. But saying "the character that..." and then calling that character by the game's title (Hollow Knight, Silksong, Celeste, Hades... none of which are the names of these characters) really made it seem like you hadn't researched this topic, let alone played the games. Nearly every named character in this video is misnamed, which undermines your whole point of these characters being memorable. It's very possible you meant to reference the games, not the characters, but the script doesn't make that apparent. You do good work, and I hate seeing that ruined by mistakes that are very easy to avoid.
You’re totally right! I believe what I did was confuse the main character with the with the title name as you mentioned! Rookie mistake on my end, thank you for mentioning it!!
I think it's okay, though. The video is commenting on the strength and memorability of the character *design* not how memorable their names are. I've played a few hours of Hollow Knight and all the way through Celeste but I didn't realize those aren't the main character's names. From a marketing perspective, having a memorable product name is definitely a good thing as well.
This is the first video that I've seen of yours and you referring to Zagreus as Hades for a solid minute made me click away. You might want to clarify or redo this script since you seem to have good points.

You have brought the right video at the right time, very good, will you make another video, will you do game market research?
Cool video, but those are The Knight not the Hollow Knight and Zagreus not Hades
Oh man, you’re totally right! When I was making the video, I believe I confused with the title, with the main character total mistake on my end!
Good video but does not feel like a dev log, feels more like a dissertation on designing characters.
