The dough came out so well but this was a tough bread to braid and shape. The filling and dough went soft really quickly and was hard to shape. I had to work quickly and take out one piece of dough at a time from the fridge. The chocolate leaked out onto the mat when i cut it and i had to wipe it off if not it will stain the next piece of dough. Phew it was tough. Am in awe of how well you shaped it in the video! Kudos!
Late to this but I tried this recipe and it turned out really good (taste and presentation wise). I used instant dry yeast so I skipped the activation process and directly added into flour. Also added chocolate emulco for extra taste! Made 4 big ones but they look like one of your 8 pieces! 😅 Will definitely do this again, maybe with a different filling :)
i just tried this recipe and it tasted awesome! the bread tasted really good that even wo the chocolate filling its already good. the only thing for me was when i rolled the dough with filling, it only made one rolled bread unlike here where you got 2 bread out of a quarter portion but its ok! when it was done the rolled one was still huge!

I like this recipe, finally found the prefect recipes that one day I may b able to bake, n even my brother could eat it, cuz my middle age brother is allergic to peanuts n any nuts types that he can’t eat. Gd thing I found it n I’m gonna copy it on my notebook of recipes, Incase I’m not able to find any recipes that doesn’t comes with any nuts. Question tho?…y in the world people likes to add nuts ingredients since few or more n more people who r allergic to nuts types but likes to bake but they can’t find any recipes that doesn’t comes with nuts!???
Hi! I have tried your recipe today, and I found out that 113 grams of butter is too much butter. It made my dough to be too "soft" / limp and hard to work with. It's very hard to roll and shape it. Somehow luckily the rich-with-butter dough didn't stick. I recommend to half the butter amount in the recipe.
Hi, this is a “brioche” dough, it is supposed to be rich in butter flavor. It’s the characteristic to be soft but if it sticks, you can flour your worksurface, rolling pin and hands so it becomes easier to handle. Hope that makes sense. Thank you.
Pls refrigerate the dough n use ONLY!! I went on with it without refrigeration….that high amount of butter made it messy to shape!!! I think the many of butter can be reduced as well… otherwise the recipe is good !
