Bluefin Tuna Fishing In The UK

With reports of giant Atlantic Bluefin Tuna swimming just off our coast we just had to get afloat and have a go at catching one of these majestical creatures. We joined the Hookpoint Magazine team for a day trip from Plymouth aboard Crusader Charters. Lures were trolled behind the boat and we were all on the lookout for signs of life either from working sea birds, dolphins, or the tuna themselves smashing into shoals of bait fish. Needless to say, the trip was a huge success so we hope you enjoy the video and gives you some inspiration to get out and have a go yourselves!

Hi chap. Ive got a rib at plymouth and always wanted to see these tuna jumping. Ive been out to the eddystone lighthouse several times and seen dolphins but no tuna.
Did you have to go along way out to sea to find them (past the lighthouse)? Any tips where to see these majestic beasts jumping?

Nothing wrong with stand up using bent butt rods especially if the fish goes deep.
