So, looks as tho you have well & truly got your sea fishing mojo back! Just a bit more exciting than lying on a bed chair, in a bivvy hoping you might see a few bubbles from a carp breaking wind. There were Tuna caught last week off Brighton & Yorkshire, so they are well spread out this year. There are so many sandeels off the south of Cornwall this year that all the predators are doing well. Scad are more plentiful than Macks so Tuna got lots to feed on. Well done mate, great day out, great effort, great video. Top angling!

I use to fish the Florida keys 15 years ago it was good but I think something special is happening in the uk waters and its half the money I was paying then👍👍

Please don't fish for them too much. They may look like really big robust fish but they fight really really hard and get completely exhausted. Unlike most fish they have to be swimming forward for water to pass over their gills - they can't just open and close their mouths to make this happen.
Yes buddy we know this that's why we hold them with the boat in gear so we can get water passing over there gills and revive them until there kicking before releasing them Fish care is number one priority

Not a good idea to troll through the feeding tunas,aim ahead of them or on the sides…I think your strike is set too low too….that’s why they don’t get hooked
Caught hundreds of these twice the size, swordfish, merlins, blue eye tuna and mayko sharks, all above 400kg +.. while working at a comercial fishing boat in international waters near china, using long line method. I also dont know why youd release such a fish, I wouldnt
Because years ago guys like you caught all the fish and there was no breeding stock left. after 30/40 years of no one targeting these fish ( what was left) the population has made a come back, And we as sport fishermen would like to see that continue...
