hope everyone thats bashing videodrone knows that ty tought JD how to sing when they were kids...oh and fieldy produced this whole incredibly awesome album. LOVE VIDEODRONE!
This song was written at my studio in Santa Ana California, called Gargoyles Rehearsal in July 1998. Recorded at the original NRG recording studio ...will always remember those weeks. Thanks to Cradle of Thorns/Videodrone for a great memory with Jonathan Davis , Fieldy. Munky and Ryan from Orgy ...one of my Rock n Roll moments
This song is fucking great. Im glad I finally found this song. It took me many years.Korn the best there is the best they was & the best there ever will be.
I still own this cd from back when it came out, I listened to it today for the first time in years and it reminded me of freshman year in high school.lol
Holy shit. The memories that just came flooding back to me. I almost died on this Rock Is Dead tour. #jonathandavis still my number one. This album was bad ass. Both from Bakersfield.
So crazy to see these guys together again singing... I remember when Jonathan and Ty played at Bam Bams 20 something years ago... Jonathan I recognize but wow Ty has completely changed... They still throw it down for sure!!!
i love the groove that the guitarist, bassist, drummer, and the keyboard guy had they had there own style. if i was in this video i would of been dancing just like the keyboard guy.
I remember seeing these guys open with Dope for Orgy. Ty Elam licked his microphone stand from the base then snaked his way to the microphone itself as a start to their set. I was sold. I may give this album a listen for old times sake. Talk about a blast from the past. Nice guys too.
Go check out the band HEALTH, there's some pretty similar sounding aspects that I'm just now noticing. I've seen em live twice and adore them, they also did the soundtrack for Max Payne 3 if you're curious. They're super interesting and intense sounding.
I'm from Bakersfield and I occasionally have JD come into the vet hospital I worked at or I'd see him in stores shopping all normal. He's always been a cool dude according to people I've talked to (BFL is small enough for everyone to be like 1-degree of separation from everyone)
I remember this!! This was the second Orgy type band Jonathan Davis signed to his label back then. Reminds me a lot of my highschool days. Aaww, memories lol
It's amazing to see that this was Jonathan's prime, and still somehow nowadays he sounds even more potent. Like how the fuck? I have nothing but admiration for his hard work perfecting the use of his voice.
Saw them play with Korn and Rob zombie on my 12th birthday. Everyone in San Francisco absolutely hated them. Bottle thrown and all that. I got this album the next day.. It's like the better parts of Prick mixed with Korn
I remember when I found out they were opening for the Rock is Dead tour I bought their album so I'd know their songs and was happy that I did. Great show all around. It was at State College, PA. Rob Zombie with all the props and shit for each song, and Korn just killed it of course. Awesome memories.
I'm entertained by the comments on here. You do realize that the whole reason that JD is on this is because they (Videodrone) were ORIGINALLY on Korn's (now defunct) label "Elementree", right? Along with Orgy also......
fack ya I'm the clueless fool? "The singer was a mentor to Jonathan". Perhaps you should look up the definition of the word MENTOR. It works better like this: "Jonathan and Ty Elam were friends since high school, and Jonathan was Ty's mentor" And yes, they were friends. Jonathan was the muse for this song, and he also guest vocalized on it. Videodrone released one album on the now defunct Elementree records. I didn't feel like writing out the entire biography of Ty Elam and Jonathan Davis. Next time you feel the need to try to embarrass or show how much more intelligent you are than the rest of the class, you may want to use your words correctly, and if you don't understand the word you're using, there's this WONDERFUL invention called a "dictionary". Maybe you should try it. Have a nice day!
fack ya I can see how you would think that I'm trying to troll you, ya know, with your limited IQ and all, but do us both a favor before you speak again: go back, reread what you wrote to me, then reread my response. If you STILL can't figure it out, well then, sweetpea, I can't help you. If you cannot grasp a simple concept like what I laid out above, there is nothing I can do for you. Like I said, awesome invention called the "dictionary", give a try. It even comes in those archaic forms called "books", that have paper for pages and everything. Or, you can try it online too. Just stop speaking, because you're only making yourself look like you should be wearing a helmet 24/7, and I hate picking on retards.
Not mad at all, just pleasantly entertained by your idiocy. You, sweetheart, are literally too stupid to insult. I never thought that I would run across someone who fit that description, but thank you for proving me wrong. Again, you should look up the meaning of the big words that you try to use, just so you don't look like a complete fucktard.

I have the first and only VD CD at my house. Its in constant play on my stereo when im going to bed. They deserved to be so much more famous. I heard that Ty got together with two other friends of his and restarted VD under their original name Craddle Of Thorns. They released one song so far thats pretty decent. Hopefully they'll put out another CD or something

It was named Cradle of Thorns from 1988 to 1998, changed to videodrone until 2000, broke up, reformed in 2007
@@axcxvevof771 I know this is a stale comment, but something to note about Adema is that the original lead singer (Mark Chavez) is JD's half-brother.
LOL "Big thing"
This was the first band I have seen live, I was about 6 or 7 and it was the tour with Korn and Rob Zombie
Your parents/legal guardians are absolute trash if they took you at “6 or 7” to see this band play.
