Lyrics:
Will you, walk me
To the edge again
Shaking, lonely, and I am drinking again
Woke up tonight and no one's here with me
I'm The Way You Like It to you
Take me under
I'm The Way You Like It to you
I'm dying tonight
I'm The Way You Like It to you
Watch me crumble
I'm The Way You Like It to you
I'm crying tonight
I'm The Way You Like It to you
Caught up, in life
Losing all my friends
Family has tried, to heal all my addictions
Tragic it seems, to be alone again
I'm The Way You Like It to you
2024 anyone???
Absolutely!
Here for it
OF COURSE!
🤘
Yes!
The 2000’s was the best decade for music (specifically rock and metal).
You forgot the 90s
Agree fully bro the 2000s (2000-2009) was a gold mine for this genre of music 🤘🏼🎸🥁 wish it would be mainstream again
1995 - 2005
For Buttrock for sure
Sorry no 80-90 for rock/metal but PRO-PAIN has been going since 91 and still going best band ever. NYHC. 👊
Mark Chavez is such a talented vocalist. :( He sounds like mix of Jonathan Davis and Marilyn Manson. I feel sorry, that he didn't get as many recognition as he deserved. "Adema" album is one of the best in nu-metal history. So many great songs there!
Jonathan is actually his brother!
@@fatalerok half brother actually

If only there was a way to know you’re in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them.
The early 2000s, little did we know, this was as good as life would get. Wish I lived it to the absolute fullest.
Sad but true...
Well if you were a kid in the 2000's appreciate it man. Cause nowadays you can take advantage of tech and fashion to live like the 2000's. It's a lifestyle, not just a phase. Punk never died.
The more time passes the more I lament the good old days...
I think both suck to be honest.
So many concerts and shows I wish I would of went too 😭
Literally cried a little when i saw Chester Bennington at the end.
I laughed and cried a bit. He was so young here!
Where is Chester? I never seen him.
Edit: Ah at about 3:17, Joe Hahn the LP dj is also there with him as well.
The rockstar life is always a rocky road. Some die, others just go weirdly crazy.
Hehe a saw it back in 2000
FUUCCKKKKKK WAS AMAZINGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the most early 2000s thing I have ever seen.
LOL 😂😂😂 I was guessing late 90's but I'm sure you're right!!

Dale Maher Woodlock So true.
There is no difference between 1999 and 2000

"Sometimes I only remember the days when I was young" ...that hits hard
There's many old school songs that I love, but only a select few truly take me back to childhood innocence. This is one of those few songs. A divine fusion of nostalgia & melancholy is how I'd best describe it
Damn...many persons think about day that none remember...
SOMETIMES? :D
2020 checking in here, I miss bands like this.
I just miss those years, obviously excluding the bad shit.
2021...still a nu metal head here!!
Adema is still around. Ryan Shuck of Orgy/Julien-K is the new lead singer.

@@lacuna17hes got so much passion for the band too, im liking the new stuff, im hoping for some like this remembering the old days.
This band was extremely underrated.
Very underrated for sure
Still is
Not really. Adema was quite popular in the early 2000s. It faded into obscurity near the end of 2005. People only came back to like it today.
Great band but not underrated. Just well-rated
Markey is JD's half brother so they got quite a lot of exposure because they had that Korn vibe and they were family. I wouldn't say they were underrated, they got the exposure they deserved in my opinion.
This band is underrated for a reason, lol.
Back in the days of napster, fifth grade, hearing constant reruns of creed, my sacrifice on the radio, when limp ruled TRL and white pony by deftones was released. Can't forget the cargo shorts.

I've lived long enough for this song to go from edgy to strangely relatable.
A little too relatable...
This song brings me right back to my childhood. I’m here because my bf detailed his car yesterday, he comes to Bakersfield to visit family. I forgot he’s Jonathan Davis’s half-brother but I see the resemblance. Korn also originated in Bakersfield. I miss LA, but it has an eclectic musical history.
Rip to Chester! Who's still listening in 2020?
Why don't bands make music as good as this anymore?
Lol they do. Were just getting older and starting g to sound like our parents who saod the exact same thing.
Cuz it's not 2001 anymore lmao. I loved nu-metal but music changes and evolves. Nu-metal is coming back around to the younger generations, though! The same way old pop-punk has been coming back around for the last few years.
Nu metal should be a trend again
@@Aimee42agree with the second part, but as musician i feel this way today : the quality of the compositions is much worse and simplistic, even lazy some times. Im talking about most of the top 10 . There is many other good compositions but it's not these that are the most listen in the top 10 commercial charts. I think that people also seem less demanding. Careful , there was some bad stuff that worked before too, but it didn't last long, or everyone took it at face value, nice but not good.(sorry for my bad english)

O comentário que eu queria ouvir
I love checking out these old videos since I love seeing everyone who's around my age and missing the good ole early 2000s. But I also like seeing the younger folks who discovered this song somehow and are keeping the music alive.
A band that kept me going so many times when I was in middle school. Bus rides to and from that hell with a mini-disc player and a few discs of bands like this, Sevendust, early Linkin Park, Disturbed, and eventually Smile Empty Soul. Those 15-20 minutes each way to school were everything.
Now come 2021, that feeling is back again.
I felt that, here in 2023
Ahh the nostalgia. I remember bumping this on my way through Memphis and listening to it on my room.

The Way You Like It
I'll get inside you
I'll get inside you
don't live with shame
'cause feelings change
and fame remains
the reason why
you're gonna wanna take me home tonight
it's all the same
up in this game
the people change
and money claims
everyone from everything
I can't believe
that you would think that shit of me
I was amazed at the torment that you put me through
if you could see right through the greed
and all your needs
you'd realize that you're just about as bad as me
Sometimes I only remember
the days when I was young
nowadays no one remembers when they were young and stupid
they way you like it
come on baby help me
someone to confide in
I'll get inside you
now you're begging me to stay
My life has changed
but fuck the fame
I'll stay the same
you can't complain when you can pay the bills and do your thing
appreciate
don't playa hate
congratulate
I miss the pain and the torment that you put me through
so what's to fear when everything is crystal clear
you realize you should do the things you wanna do
don't give into
what people say
don't be ashamed
to separate the feelings on your mind you can't sedate
sometimes I only remember
the days when I was young
nowadays no one remembers when they were young and stupid
the way you like it
come on baby help me
someone to confide in
I'll get inside you
now you're begging me to stay
I'll get inside you
now you're begging me to stay
I'll get inside you
you would always say I'd never be shit
they would always say I'd never be shit
but look at me now, look at me now
I'll get inside you
now you're begging me to stay
I'll get inside you
now you're begging me to stay
the way you like it
sometimes I only remember
the days when I was young
nowadays no one remembers when they were young and stupid
