Lyrics:
He's a loser
She said
"So I grabbed my shovel"
"So I grabbed my shovel"
"So I grabbed my shovel"
Great pains
I've gone to gang slang
I've gone to lame brain
Looking for gold, I
I have become someone else
Outside stepping to inside
Stepping to my side
Stepping
I wade through shit
He's a loser
He's a loser
She said (said)
He's a loser
He's a loser
She said (said)
"And I beat him in the skull and took him down"
"And I beat him in the skull and took him down"
"And then I grabbed a rope and I hogtied him"
I am mine
I am mine
I am mine
I am mine
I am mine, I
I can't become someone else
Jumped up, rip out a chainsaw
Rip you from neck down
Rip you from head to toe, ooh
He's a loser
He's a loser
She said (said)
He's a loser
He's a loser
She said (said)
"So I grabbed my shovel"
Stupid
"So I grabbed my shovel"

"So I grabbed my shovel"

This bands stage presence was unreal. Wayne was one hell of a showman, and in my opinion, was severely underrated.
He was, and awesomely sounded the same in concert as he does on albums
@@aarondaniels2306 one of few bands that sounds BETTER live, glad I caught their show once before Wayne passed
@@brycelynch8094 i was too young to have gone to a show when he passed
Saw them with ill nino and opiate for the masses. Best show ever! 2005 or 2006 commadore ballroom
I could only imagine. I wish I was able to attend a show before Wayne passed
He's like a cartoon, but his movements are just so fluid and natural. Its crazy. Its like he's not even trying.
You should see him live in concert at the Conan O'Brien show in 2001 where he wore a white and red shirt that looked like where's waldo but he was so awesome! was a HUGE fan from that point on. Also you should see the music video with him in the Xecutioners - It's goin down. Also a great and underrated song!
Right?! It’s hypnotizing. Check out “movies” by alien ant farm! The singer is hard to stop watching
@@musicalADD_theband that video is so sick!
I saw them at a few Ozzfests back in the day and it was a hell of a show.
Well, that's 'cause he's not 'trying', if you know what I mean.
When he said
"IAMMINEIAMMINEIAMMINEIAMMINE"
I felt that
don't forget "IIZAAMANDENGDADOGOOOOH!"
We say this alot Working at Mc Donald's serving food to these locusts
@@brandonvessell4659 that is the last thing they hear before you beat them in the skull and take them down

When you listen to Static X, make sure the whole block does too. 🤘
I'll give you love for this comment
Hell mufuckin yea 💯🤟🏼🔥🎸🥁
Fuck yeah. :)
FUCK YES!!!!!!!

Miss the days when this kind of music was played on the everyday radio. Things have gotten so sterile.
I miss those days as well
Just heard "destroyer" on my little central texas radio station. Had to google the lyrics. And now im here. And static x is the shit. And im a new fan to wayne static 4/11/2019
Not sterile, plastic....
Whole music industrie turned people into douchebags. Sad world no words for that
I found this song really annoying when I first listened to it, but it slowly grew on me.
Some of the best concerts we ever saw. Rest well Wayne.
Fine brothers listen to good music?? thank god. \m/
***** ahahahahahhah
WTF :D
Big thumbs up to you guys for being good music fans. Maybe make a react video to some metal artists, probably Teens react would be the most adequate.
He asked for a reaction to metal bands, not his death.....
R.i.p. Wayne static. You die twice, once in life and twice when your name is said for the last time. may we never forget Wayne static one of the gods of metal.
So true. I never thought of it like that. Long live Wayne Static!
Gods of metal 😂😂😂😂😂
@@thejoker7239 What is so funny?
F
Wouldn't that be thrice?
Late 90's and the early 2000's were the greatest times on this planet.
YES!!!!
Yea high on grass maybe some beers good gf...everything
Agreed
Still to this day, I just randomly get the urge to listen to this song.
Fucking same, man
Yep, same here.
same ...
Same here, brah.
They should have played this when Cody parkey missed those field goals
Still remember attending a Megadeth concert in '99, and Static X opened...completely blew me away with their thunderous bass that made me feel like my feet were literally being lifted off the (main) floor!! Many around me were just stunned...I thought that Wayne looked like the Slim Jim commercial character, BUT only with black hair instead of red....EAT MEE!!
RIP Mr. Static...from a fellow Michigander.
Hilarious, I was just thinking he liked like the Slim Jim mascot while he was in silhouette.
State theater! Megadeth was cool...but these guys ruled the night!!!
Imagine being Dave mustaine and having this little local group open for you and then go out there with this and now you have to follow all of this outrageousness
Saw Static X, DDT and Megadeth Nov 1999. Fantastic show! Luckily saw Static X a few times after that.
wayne was raised in illinois but yknow... midwest all the same
I saw Static-X once in concert and it set the bar for all other concerts I've ever been to. So, tonight in my drunken state, I will seek out all Static-X videos and post this comment. Wayne Static, you brought joy to my life. I'm sorry you went the way you did. I'm here and I still love you. Jazz
Hell yeah. I saw them open for Mudvayne and Black Label Society. Then several times headlining. Wayne could have put Zakk Wylde to shame if he had wanted to.
The only one that comes close is Sevendust as far as lead singers that just create a presence on the stage that's larger than life.
Lol@@leftyeh6495
The Wisconsin Death Trip came out 14 days after I was born. BORN. 21 years later I wonder why I love Static-X my dad must of played this when I was a baby.
I grew up on Black Sabbath with Ozzy and Dio. Byron Johnson has filled in nice for AC/DC and I hear hes a class act but hes no Bon Scott. These 4 people I mention are Rock Gods. Wayne Static was just as talented if not more so than any of them.
That guy's hair is unreal. Doesn't move an inch.
Elmers glue
the whole bottle of ultra hold hairspray
I'm pretty sure semen was included in there somewhere~
One could even say it's static.
so much poweerrr ahhh
one of the best metal screamers in general

One of the best him? XDD go to heard death metal ignorant
@@JoNesBlacKkrafkini yea but his screams sounded unique and good
this has nothing to do with metal, i like these kind of bands but its not metal.
@@rosaceusborgogne5517 its actually called nu metal bub.
ANYONE 2024?!

Yep!!!
Poop
Hell yes!
Not gonna lie when you go back in time there is so much more originality in metal than now. Big up early 2000's
Last Era of "garage bands". I was in one and man. Authenticity isn't there anymore. It's not allowed to be there anymore. So many amazing artists at home right now.
back when we were a family, my father took us four-wheeling every weekend in his big blue dodge pick-up and would blast Static-X and everything in between for the entire trip. Never knew I could feel such nostalgia
thats a nice memory

Welcome to being old :)
ELEMENTwolf1997 - your dad is awesome
Was it a Wisconsin death trip?
After all this time, there's still just something magical about static-x. It never gets old
Nobody out there sounds like them, truly unique, RIP Wayne
I was 19 when this album came out... It's still fire!
I’m 19 right now and discovered them while playing NFS: most wanted because their song “skinnyman” was in the video game, I bothered to check more of their stuff out and man I was not disappointed, these guys were badasses
@@marioncarbonell6047 for their time, I had never heard guitar like that, I was big into Candiria then and it was the closest thing I could find to that guitar sound. Albums heavy as fuck!!
old man
@@kazz8326 and one day, you will be old and this album will still be fire.
Im 19 and found this last night
Man, but some hair gel company just lost a serious investor.
Actually he used hair spray, but either way a company lost a good investor
X DICAP using that much hairspray would stink so bad
He used Rave 4x hairspray, which is what I use.
Evil Taco he used. hairspray not gel
"Goth Juice. The most power hairspray known to man, made from the tears of Robert Smith." - Vince Noir, The Mighty Boosh
RIP Wayne Static \m/ (>_
Yeah first song I heard of them as well. Sad day indeed.
Grew up listening to them, like you I kinda stopped listening... this album was the bomb diggity.
Love Wayne and all of Static-X, been listening for years, such a shame. RIP brother.
Yeah man.
"Centuries?" Dude, a century is 100 years.
I'm so late discovering Static-X. I feel sad to know Wayne is no longer around. Now I'm enjoying all their hard work in music.
More power Static-X
Just love the energy. The crazy, randomness, yet his natural
Movements are just pure gold
Havent listened to Static X in ages, their style was always really different, but also very catchy
Update: Its all ive listened to for almost three weeks now
Update 2: Ive gone deaf
worth it xD
u mean early late 90's early 00's metal
There are no words to express how much I LOVE Industrial Metal. And it was Wayne Static and Static-X that started that love.... and now he's gone. He was a talented innovator, and he will be missed
dominic garcia you know any similar bands?
blebleh999 There aren't very many bands with a similar sound to Static-X that I know of, but I know a good few Industrial Metal bands that are pretty good. Rammstein, Spineshank, Kmfdm, Nine Inch Nails (Occasionally), PAIN (Peter Tagtgren), Ministry, Stabbing Westward, God Lives Underwater to name a few of the top of my head
blebleh999 sorry I'm late but White Zombie and Motionless In White
Jake Taliaferro miw? I mean okay they have synths
Corey 742617000027 they're newest album Graveyard shift is a lot of nu metal and industrial metal
Static-X got me into metal back in 99' when I got Wisconsin Death Trip for free. RIP Wayne, in my top 3 for life.
That is exactly how I came to know Static X. I got a free cassette of Push It on the Korn family values tour back in 99
This groove... like so many from Static-X. great band.
Wayne Static is a fucking legend and a god of metal in his own right. May he and his one true love rest in peace and rock on forever
I think he has re-incarnated in Japan ua-cam.com/video/AOWJ2Vdk3jo/v-deo.html

Classy understatement.
it's weird, bands that I didn't really care for back in the day, I like now
You are aging like a fine wine ;)
When you realize all the new crap is...well, CRAP, you understand how good we had it then!
Same. Just had that thought today haha.

I guess it's more or less the same with the girls, until you find the right one.
I miss him so much. There will never be another voice like his.
Still awesome today! Who's still listening in 2024?!?!?!
Korn, Deftones, Static-X, Slipknot
:)
Tim Wilson 🤟🔥
Add System Of A Down and Mudvayne and BOOM!
@Nitty Gritty shut up
Sepultura?
Element eighty, SOAD, Disturbed
rest in fucking peace. a musical talent that is far underrated.
I wouldnt be hell if there was any peace
Baronwoof well the devils better let him play his music there.
I've been obsessed with this song for 2 weeks 🙊
This is my favorite of theirs, the perfect mix of metal and an industrial dance kind of feel that I've never heard pulled off, or at least pulled off as catchy as this. Totally makes sense they called their sound "evil disco" after hearing this song.
Static-x had real talent for original song writing. The gem of that era.
So MAD I never got to see Wayne and the rest of the boys live in their prime. Hoping to see them after the new record releases next year. RIP Wayne.
Static-X is one of the top tier artist and band out of all of Metal and Rock
Apenas este año volví a escuchar su música.

I haven’t listened to Static in years. It’s like watching for the first time all over again. Makes getting older worthwhile.
That riff is something else I can´t get enough of this rhythm
R.I.P. Static. Got me through a lot of teen angst in the 90's. Sad year.
And b4 u nubs bitch. Yes they were around in the 90's. They were big on the internet long before WDT
Im a die hard hip hop fan but i absofuckenlutely love this song RIP Wayne Static
\m/ fuck ya rip
Gangsta Rap & Nu Metal is what I was into by the time I was in the 4th grade and I have to thank some of my older cousins for it
Well this is around the time when rap/hip-hop fans and metal/rock fans were slowly setting aside their differences and coming together, so it makes sense
Hip-Hop w/Rock & Roll is a crazy original concept. I'm an aspiring rap artist & I play guitar & I'm even working on singing. The more originality that's put into rap/hip-hop then the more people will listen. Mumble rap doesn't have that much power imo.
The nostalgia this song/video evokes is overwhelming!! It's so bittersweet! There was a boy in middle school named Jonas Farrar that I was just absolutely obsessed with, he was just perfect and I secretly loved him until well after high school and into our adulthood. My closest friends knew about how much I loved Jonas and after high school, we ended up running with the same group of friends going to concerts together and such.
I finally told him that I had had a deranged obsession with him in middle school but at the time I told him, I was married with 2 stepsons and the feelings had calmed down drastically. He actually got kind of mad at me and said that I should have told him back then because he would have absolutely dated me back then. 😔 He died not very long after that conversation. I wish I would have said something back then, but I'm glad I finally got to tell him before he left this world.
He always made me think of Wayne static. He dressed like him and did his hair in crazy ways all the time.
Man, I miss both of them.
I hope Jonas and Wayne got to meet wherever they are now. 🥰😁
Sorry for ranting and being weird. 😒
This band is one of the kind. There's nobody like Static X or Wayne

this was the best so far.... RIP
This will always be a part of my past my present and my future. Long live Static-X

My favorite industrial metal band of all time 1999 Wisconsin Death Trip Album of the year IMO
Haven't seen the band without Wayne but this is still the band I have seen the most live. My all time fave band. I had a friend who wasnt a big fan but he came with during Ozzfest and saw them live and was blown away. He said he had never seen a live show like these guys. Will miss you Wayne!!
Today marks his birthday, thanks for the music. RIP Wayne.
It's been a long time since I listened to Static-X, and the other day I was playing Need for Speed Most Wanted and Skinnyman came on. Now I'm listening to all the classics again. RIP Wayne Static. You are sorely missed.

Metal Disco.... Static made that shit a thing. And it sounded incredible live. The energy everywhere in the show was nuts. Static had strippers bringing the whole band out shots of Jack after every song 😆 fucking legendary. Everyone in the place was wasted having a blast, the pits were some of the craziest I've seen! RIP
I can only concur that the pits for them at Ozzfest at the turn of the century (woof) were indeed legendary.
I saw them and soulfly on tour I thought I was gonna die in that pit 😅
no one's talking about how insanely gorgeous this man is
Static X is one of the most Original Bands ever. I don't know if anyone else mentioned it or not but ...Hes was one of the best song writers in history.
Was never a big fan of Static-X, but this song is awesome! How’d I go this long without ever hearing it?
I was in high school in the late 90's and korn and limp bizkit was what I was listening to, the only reason I never heard of static-X is because we didn't have cable TV and nobody passed me the cassette or CD to let me know they existed lol! But I sure would have listened to this if I had it !
