Perfect timing. I was driving yesterday and somebody who had a storage container attached to the back of their truck managed to not properly secure their ATV, which ended up plowing out of the back and onto the road as they took off from the light. They also managed to take a curb when drivers were attempting to flag him down.

I can understand unfortunate events that happen on the road. What I don't get is how someone could be smart enough to pass a driver's test, but still be a dumbass in public. I swear, so many of the people shown here shouldn't have a license or vehicle.
@@hughanthony2001 It ain't "not knowing"... It's forgetting to engage it PROPERLY... Some only barely pull the thing, and some just forget it all together... Most of the time, it's because they only think it's important on a hill, instead of just making a habit of using the parking/E brake... AND there's a few who saw some stupid movie or TV-show, and wear the rear brakes out using it to drift... SO it just no longer functions. Brake pads wear down as they're used over and over. They need replaced periodically, depending on the type, compounds involved, and size/thickness from the factory. A lot of people don't know that... apparently. ;o)
You're making an unwarranted assumption; not everybody has a driver's license. Most of the accidents that have involved people I know were caused by the other driver, who was nearly always unlicensed and uninsured. Also, a lot of these people might have started out decent drivers, but their skill slowly deteriorate because they are not consistently required to practice good habits. For example, in California, if you have a concealed weapons permit, you have to renew it every other year by taking a 4-hour class, a test, and qualifying with every firearm you will be allowed to carry (not just the same make, model, caliber, etc., but the actual gun, as indicated by its serial number). Does any state ever do that with a driver's license? Nope. You don't have to retest periodically, you don't have to take refresher courses, and you sure as hell don't have to show competence with every vehicle you will be driving (meaning you are only allowed to drive cars with a matching VIN as the ones you've tested in). Now, I'm not complaining about requirements to renew CCW permits, but maybe we should hold the privilege of driving to the same standards we hold for engaging in a constitutionally recognized right.

I would have continued following the armored truck for however long it took.
There was an incident in SF in the 80's with an armored truck did the same thing & 3 bags fell out the back with $250,000. cash & people loaded them into their cars & drove off. Not sure if they ever recovered any of it.

That guy who stuck his bumper onto the bikes rear was epic 😂😂
Perfect timing. I was driving yesterday and somebody who had a storage container attached to the back of their truck managed to not properly secure their ATV, which ended up plowing out of the back and onto the road as they took off from the light. I can understand unfortunate events that happen on the road. What I don't get is how someone could be smart enough to pass a driver's test, but still be a dumbass in public. I swear, so many of the people shown here shouldn't have a license or vehicle.
Not knowing where the handbrake is seems to be the most common failing here... Even I know where it is and I've never driven a car more than 400m.
They act good to the instructor, but be dumb and reckless when they are outside of the driving school.
A lot of people don't know that... apparently. ;o)
The drivers exam in most places unfortunately barely qualifies as a "test". Too many places treat driving as a right instead of a privilege.
