I love the cold and sarcastic way Barnabas calls Julia's "treatment" of Dr. Woodard a "success". So many nuances in his motions and especially his voice. What an actor Jonathan Frid was!
@@DocSeville That endeared Jonathan to me anyway. I never thought he was flubbing. I saw it as Barnabas being a bit awkward. After all he was an 18th century man in the mid-20th century.
The Josette story Barnabas is telling Julia is quite different from the 1795 flashback. Barnabas for one thing stated Josette arrived in Collinsport to marry Jerimiah.
Thank You . I’ve already said it. Love Barnabas clips. There are Many since he was on almost everyday. Jonathan Frid was the ⭐️ and pulled Dark Shadows from cancellation pile. Such a talent .
The oldest trick ever. Dr Woodward says “Hey! Look over there!” and scoots for the door! 😮😮😮😊😊😊
MANY thanks to whomever is doing all this work!!!!!
We are a busy crew. Thank you.
Absolutely I can't figure out why he never " took" Julia
Jonathan Frid and Grayson Hall so good together
Barnabas doesn't take any pleasure in what needs to be done, but his "secret" must be protected.
In the b&w episode the long dialogue-heavy scenes between Barnabas & Julia are more on point than later on in the series.
Maybe they started to trust each other a little more???
@@brendaamata9233 That, and their tangible chemistry. Grayson's capacity to learn dialog rivalled anyone else on the show.
Dr Woodard never had to deal with Angelique .
Barnabas said "l know a dead man when l see one"😂

He is such a skilled actor. As I am editing these videos, I am amazed at the long scenes with Jonathan and Grayson Hall.
When he remembered his lines!!!!!! Lol!

So convincing love it!
The program should have stay in black and white it was more spooky and more dramatic.
Barnabas is so into his precious Josette 175 years after she died.
Oooooo Dr. Hoffman zinged Barnabas ...

The Green eyed monster is not a good look For you Hoffman?
She's so cool tho
Gaw, poor Barnabas. He deserved a happy ending and never really had one. *sigh*
Whoah, this is not the Jossette story that came to be ...
Which is weird because the 1795 flashback happens like a month later.
It seems like only yesterday I used to watch this.
And such a good man 😊
So powerful!!
Wow!!!
