I would put a slice of cheese on each side so it "glues" the sandwich together. But this looks sooooo good!

Well, at least as good as leftover roast beef with swiss sandwich between sourdough, grilled. Add pickled onions, Tabasco, and a slice of fully ripe tomato. Lawdy mercy! It's lunchtime!

I do that with my leftover meatloaf too! I grill the meatloaf and some onions first then I jus do meatloaf grilled onions and some ketchup!! The ketchup acts like the glue instead of cheese and it's the bomb!! Try it!

Another good use for leftover meatloaf is shepherd's pie.
Little trick ,turn the pan heat way down so the cheese really gets melts before the finished toasted bread
If you’re the type of person who enjoys the flavor combo of eggs and ketchup I would like to recommend the leftover meatloaf omelet. Prepare in basically the same steps. Heat your meatloaf in the skillet. Remove meatloaf leaving those yummy bits and rendered fat. Then pour in your beaten eggs add your meatloaf and make an omelette. Extra ketchup or hot sauce is optional. Enjoy :)
I do the same with left over bacon minus the mayo. Mayo would probably be good though.
looks delicious, do you cook Bulgogi or Bibimbap, I used to enjoy them with my Korean wife.

Love it, but I'm gonna do mine with fried chicken (will chop them up lol) that I already have in my fridge and also add fried eggs. There I'd nothing like a sandwhich without Riggs (boiled or fried)for Africans lol. 😆😁🤭
I've never done this, but all the cooks in the Bon Appetit Test Kitchen say to put Mayo on one outside piece of your grilled cheese sandwiches. Might be good? Unsure...

I've seen soo many variations of a grilled cheese and I always see that people only toast the one side of the bread.... Am I really the only one who toasts both side of the bread?

This video came too late. I made meatloaf on Monday and I did make sandwiches out of the leftovers but ran out of leftovers yesterday

@ it's okay though. I make meatloaf every Monday in some way. I have theme days of cooking because I used to forget to feed my kids lol. I know right? Terrible dad but it took a couple of times before I realized that kids eat more often than adults when they are little. I would be fine but they would be hungry. To eliminate the fast food trips I came up with the themed days as follows:.

Meatloaf Monday: I cycle through about 8 different types that I make.
Taco Tuesday: Anything Mexican or Tex-Mex.
Spaghetti Wednesday: anything Italian.
Tourist Thursday: any ethnic food from anywhere in the world.
Fishy Friday: Anything Seafood
Steak Saturday: any steak meals
Sunday best: that after church meal that's usually pretty elaborate.
The days keep me on task when grocery shopping too.
