Yep, they’re now finding every chronic disease is linked to high insulin/insulin resistance, which is caused by eating too many carbs (including sugar) too often. It’s estimated that 93% of American adults are insulin resistant and metabolically unhealthy.

Same here. I don't feel much different, because I didn't eat that much to begin with. The difference is I no longer crave chocolate or sugary jam when my blood sugar is low. Instead I crave real food.
I'm 10% body fat and rarely eat sugar, but once in a blue moon I do eat a piece of cake or bowl of ice cream. You can choose moderation if you want to.
The way the cereal CO’s trick people is with the serving size. Who eats a 30gram bowl. Who eats only 10 potato chips. When you read the labels don’t forget to check serving size.
And the serving sizes/info are often off too. They aren't always correct. The most accurate way, as best as you can do it is to weigh your things out in grams. (I learned this from a UA-camr I watch who's a health coach). And ya, when you measure things out you also don't realize how SMALL a serving of a LOT of things actually is!

Insulin is the reason our bodies store fat. The more insulin over time, the more fat stored over time. Insulin is raised by glucose. Glucose comes from any carbohydrate. Sugar, bread, rice, pasta, etc. All other hormones that trigger fat gain do so by signaling for more insulin (like cortisol) Exercise can make a 10 percent dent in your fat stores because it burns up glucose, thus lowering insulin levels and allowing stored fat to be used. 90 percent is diet. The more carbs you avoid, the more fat you will shed Type 1 diabetics have 0 insulin. Before there was treatment, they would waste away and die because there was no signal to store fat. The worst carbs are the ones that hit your system fast, like sugar, bread, and pasta. The better carbs are the ones that hot you slowly. Vegetables and sweet potatoes. Easiest way to simplify changing your life is to eat only whole natural above ground foods. There is no way to overeat that continually. Even if you tried to prove a point and force feed yourself those foods for several days or a week, you would get really sick and throw up.
Yes, this! I just had some dumbass ripping me a new one in a comment section because I said that it's not just calories in-calories out that effects weight loss, that losing weight/fat is hugely impacted by hormones. I was told I'm wrong, and that's not true, that no matter what you eat, as long as you are in calorie deficit you'll lose. (Keep in mind I know from current personal experience that this is not the case, and have also researched this stuff and have a medical background. But no, the CICO/stuck in the 80s zealots are right and hormones like that pesky insulin don't matter!! lol)

Even off added sugars and artificial ones can’t have those either, I still get bodily itching and itching down below and burning, I think I’ve got other issues, not related to just sugar consumption.
