IMO, Kashmir is Zeppelin's greatest composition. It was their masterpiece, created at the peak of their ability and creativity. Pure innovation; no hint of any other music that might have influenced them earlier in their careers. Nothing like it had ever been heard before. And this is the best interpretation of that masterpiece I've ever heard. What a performance! Thanks for it.

Covering Plant´s voice is always a tough task. You delivered greatly, congrats! Also kudos to the drummer, he managed to control himself. His own chops were there, but they were tasteful and into the song.
Man, this cover is amazing... every musician is top class. Particularly the drummer who plays relaxed yet with full energy even coming close to the great Bonzo a few times during the song. Bravo bravo bravo...

What about the bass? Appears to me they are covering the version Zep performed live in 2007. The bass is diff than the album because John Paul uses only keys during the live stuff
Just learned Mark's solo by ear, there is so much clever phrasing in his playing that you only start picking up when you play it at speed. what a beast of a writer, and if it was improv on the spot then that's even more insane.
Wow! Nice wake up song this morning! Mark's middle solo was perfect, right in style with the piece, with beautiful phrasing. Martin's voice did the song justice. Well done in deed!

Ease up there. They're a great band, but you can't compare to Led Zeppelin. Martin did his best in trying to make the song his own, but I can't hear anybody besides Plant sing Kashmir and not think something's missing.
There's more bass in this cover... I think that's the one thing Zep was missing... maybe it was the mixing done in that era, but I always felt like something was missing, and that feels like the issue; it needed a bit more depth. It's kind of like listening to Ride the Lightning or St. Anger. The bass mix just wasn't there.
