Yamaha doesn’t advertise or make any claims on the range their bikes can go. I had my Wabash RT from 6 months now and I’ve been pretty close to the range that’s on display sometime more and sometimes less. I do notice the when you go faster the range of the battery is lower. I also noticed if keep the speed below 20 mph to get better range. I am a smaller and lighter rider that weighs 150 lbs. and keep the tire pressure at 50 PSI.
@@herminio001 I imagine the bike will go 100 miles + if I rode at a slower pace/speed and/or didn’t push the bike as hard. I am 210+ pounds and I rode the bike above 20mph pretty much the whole time (other than start stop points) during the test. The bike says 100mi on the display when put in eco+ mode with the battery full. I can’t imagine who other than Yamaha would be responsible for that calculation. What is your real world range in standard? I thought about trying it. Would love to know your experience before I plan a ride. Thanks
@@InfiniteMishaps My display say 104 on Eco Plus, I commute daily on my Wabash RT. Its 18 miles from my home to the Train station and then 7 miles to my work. That's 50 miles round trip on a full charge on Auto and Standard and I still got 15 to 20 miles left on the battery display, but my ride is mostly flat with a max climbing of maybe 460 feet. My ride consist of bike paths and bike lanes and I've got the timing down to avoid stop lights especially once I enter my hometown from the which have 26 stop lights on a stretch of 12 miles all the way home. Stopping and going also reduces the range so I try not to stop cause it takes a lot of energy to get going from a dead stop.
@@516pereira yes i hear it every time I stand up and pedal on the bike. Haven’t had time to look into it. Probably a little play in the headset or steer tube from when I flipped the stem. That or front wheel has something that needs a tad bit of tightening.
