I was 1 week into a full body cleanse and found you and high carb Hannah. I transitioned off of veggie juice to the starch solution and 50/50 plate method and in 8 weeks have dropped 30 pounds. I’m never hungry. Thank you so much for your videos. Too funny I just made some vegan lettuce wraps but have to try these!

Zojirushi is the best rice cooker. The rice comes out perfect every time. It has a warm feature that lets you keep the rice in the cooker and ready to go for up to three days.

We, Indians never cook saffron. You always soak it in warm water or milk and add it after turning off the stove. If you cook it, you will never have any taste in it. So, Saffron does have taste!

You have no idea how much you have changed my life. I have a hard time relating to "gym rat" fitness gurus. I have young kids and I work and just can't find time to carve out to spend hours in a building pumping iron, and honestly nor would I want to. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that if that is your thing, but for me being outdoors enjoying the earth and moving my body naturally through hiking and cycling and climbing is so much more enjoyable and sustainable than reps and sets under fluorescent bulbs. Your style, your tips, your recipes, your honesty have all been so motivating and you make it so EASY and stress free and unintimidating. I'm not stressing over macros or calories or any of that mess. Half veggies, half starch, repeat. So simple!!! I love you so much and you are such a tremendous gift and amazing woman. I can't WAIT to see your vaca vlog!!

Hi Kiki ,I am a half Persian and we add to our meals a lot of Saffron !The trick with Saffron is to ground it and put an ice cube on it ! While the ice cube is melting you will have a beautiful color and also taste ! And then add the yellow liquid to the rice !

I use my Instant Pot for rice cooking and I live in Colorado also and the 1:1 method works really well. Rinse rice and put equal amount of water, set for 28 minutes and use natural pressure release for at least 15 minutes before releasing and opening. Perfect every time. White rice, brown rice, whatever.

The Japanese rice cooker Zojirushi is the best. The $50 model comes with a steamer basket and you can make rice and veggies at the same time. It makes perfect rice, the inner basket is so easy to clean and it’s solid material not flimsy like most rice cooker baskets. I’ve had mine for years. It’s still like new.

Just starting out on a WFPB diet after failing on the Optifast program...800 calories per day of totally artificial shakes/soups led me to a very unhealthy relationship with my body and with food, plus I was ravenously hungry and miserable. This makes so much sense (although I am a little fearful of the carb load) but I am ALL IN!! Wish me luck!!

I like a fruit flavor at breakfast and prefer barley instead of oatmeal. I've been chopping lettuce and put previously cooked, cold barley on top then sprinkle cinnamon and top with fresh fruit like mango and a splash of soy milk. I love the crunch and chewy textures and the lettuce has a mild, sweet flavor when paired with fruit. 50/50 breakfast bowl success.

Kiki I don't know if you ever mentioned what air fryer you use before, but that basket seems quite large and other air fryers are too small for my family. I'd normally have to cook everything in stages even for the same dish. It ends up not being convenient and taking almost as long as regular oven cooking. Can you recommend your air fryer please? 💗🙏🌺

I use a zojirushi rice cooker from japan. It is beyond awesome! I love rice, and I am also picky about how rice is cooked. The Zojirushi has different settings for sushi rice, brown rice, long grain rice, white rice/mixed, quick rice, gaba brown rice, and steel cut oats. I have made each of the aforementioned in the Zojirushi rice cooker, and it comes out absolutely perfect every.single.time. My last rice cooker was an Aroma one, and it is a piece of crap next to the Zojirushi. It also comes out better than in the Instantpot, and that’s saying something cuz this girl loves her Instapot. I bought it off of Amazon. Was worth every cent. Oh, and it doesn’t leak! ☺️

As I am on the floor, thinking about everything you have said in your videos… I ate a few healthy snacks then went onto the floor to do yoga. I’m a musician and not really feeling healthy lately and have a show tonight so I wanted to at least TRY! As I’m wrapping up yoga and sit up, I realize there’s a book on the shelf next to me and my ukulele. This isn’t my house, we are staying here while we find a place to live in Key West. Anyway, it’s “Cleanse To Heal” by Anthony William. I noticed the watermelon on the front and as much as I LOVE cheese and low carb, I’m kinda thinkin this is a sign! 🤯

Love the bowl you put your Persian rice dish in. What bowl is that?

Love your videos. I notice how clean your kitchen always looks by the way. Do you use non toxic cleaners, and which ones? Would love to see a video from you on cleaning/organizing, just an idea 💛
