All this Heihachi stuff really shows how much he was still good in the early games. He would have been top tier if Jin wasn't busy having the best move in Tekken history.
If anyone has the arcade version of T4, Heihachi also has the blue spark hell axles WITHOUT the OTGF at the start, and it essentially hits grounded, so it could be used at the end of the combo for mega damage! And much more practical than OTGF starter. Removed from console version though..
I remember Heihachi having another follow-up after the delayed TGF. He does either a blue or red spark of TGF. Input for this attack df+1 after the shimmy step.
Thats why is my favourite character, lots of hidden stuff and secret techs that you had to master and practice, i hope that reina will keep this side of heihachi's design, even though she has a more modern type of fighting style aka lots of jumps, dashes and stuff.
Regarding b1, it was actually worse on hit than on block funnily enough. It was -2 on block but on hit, it was -3. Early Tekken frames go wild. I will note that b1 was + on hit against a crouching opponent though. f4 was also -5 on block so that was uhh… something. One more funny frame related thing is that d1 was not only -8 on block but it was also -8 on Hit. Pretty wacky although d1 was mainly powerful when used as a combo ender or oki tool.
I kind of miss Heihachi's old f+3 Lightning Crush. It was a nice "get away from me" move. Guess they changed it up because they gave Kazuya a similar f+3 in later games.
He wasn't a monster but he was definitely underrated and underused. Old school players were just so turned off by ewgf not launching on rh. Whereas the game before, tag 1, it ran the whole damn show.
@@mwkan772 that's because tag 1 had a stamina system where a combo took way more damage off his bar than other characters. He had one of the worst stamina in the game.
For these information videos, you should see if you can try to show the inputs.. because to be honest, I never knew about the red spark or the hell axes after the thunder god fist. Always Cool to learn new things about a game I spent hours playing alone lol
@@williamlindsey2744 I mean it was not bad, but red omens only occured due to execution error. You still did 30% more damage than regular omen and was not launch punishable at -15. At tip range you were only at -8 and not all chars had 8 frame fast jabs and sometimes even those whiffed due to the pushback. Also at a really specific range it became -7, so totally safe like blue omen.
His d+1 was really broken move when it is hitted near the wall. You must hit by d+1 twice and then tech roll or else if you tried to tech roll after just 1 hit, you will get another roop of d+1 😂

true lol
What move is?
@@BigFloppa360 Just Frame Laser Scraper
T4 Heihachi still can't fight T4 Steve very well, chiefly bc T4 Steve's jab is faster than Heihachi's

I see
thanks for the info bro
Why was it removed or was it a glitch? I very very rarely played t4
Heihachi is such an awesome character, easily one of Tekken's biggest icons! Reina and Kuma have some big shoes (sandals?) to fill.
so true

His b2 on counter hit gave him a free twin pistons, leading up to some juicy damage.

let's hope for the best

1:11 it is like t8 kaz

haha yeah
but I think his current f3 is way better
@@mwkan772Agreed. So satisfying to counter hit with that knee.
CD 441 as juggle prevented tech rolls, so you got a guarantied d+1 afterwards.
I see
Honestly looks like a really fun version of the character
indeed
0:02 And people complain about jin's hellsweep being safe on block in tekken 4
What's good about his hellsweep?
Heihachi's was a just frame (locked behind execution)
You didn't watch the entire video, did you?
He wasn't a monster but he was definitely underrated and underused. Old school players were just so turned off by ewgf not launching on rh. Whereas the game before, tag 1, it ran the whole damn show.
in tag 1 he was the weakest among mishimas I think
kaz and jin were stronger than him

Really thank you for this cool and informative videos man! You're the nostalgia king 🤜🤛
Glad you enjoy these videos^^
@@mwkan772 all of them are really excellent but these types have a special place in my heart 😀
Keep up the great content and work 👍👍
Hell axle to “Dragon axle” is sick. Wish that stuck in later games

Fair and balanced, I see no problem with any of this
it is fair n balanced as it requires a lot of execution haha
Is the only difference between Blue Spark TGF (OTGF) and Red Spark TGF just one point of damage?
SURYA!
The red one was unsafe at -10 and the blue one was safe at -7.
@@mr_coke1401 Oh yeah, forgot about that difference, lol!
@@zp8377 Oh got it, thanks! So pretty much, Red Spark TGF isn't as useful.

It would be interesting if they had brought back his variations of omen
I wish you also showed the inputs, great video though. had no idea about all of this.
Is the title supposed to be endless just frame attacks or endless plus frame attacks
yes
BOFF
Just frame heihachi where a few frame difference would add 1 to 5 extra damage lol
haha
I play Tekken 4 on PlayStation 2. Can I do these moves??? 😢😢
What was the input for the third electric with extra effects
Same input but you have to hold df longer, thats why regular eletric was a bit trickier.
diaper grants +5 hit points more if there is poo
haha
Ff3 in T4 is mad😂
true lol
T8 without him will be the begininng of scrubby generic tekken era
so true
That era already started during t7
Why is Hulk Hogan OP here?
