    > why do they need three?
Because, considering injury history, Andersen and Raanta put together are one healthy goalie.

Kochetkov isn’t ready and yes Raanta and anderson are both gonna be injured. So this is exactly what they should have done. Great deals

Two good goalies when healthy. Kotchekov can step in when eventually both are injured

I think they're fine bringing back both because PK is still waivers exempt. I think he's probably ready, but I'm not surprised to see him play another year in the ahl.

Lol Steve still spewing the BS "Carolina does not spend they are cheap". Ignoring that they are always at the cap CEILING, Don clarified for the people claiming this that he straight up asked the goalies and staal if they would take a paycut to help them build out the rest of the roster. They agreed and so Don got Orlov to play infront of the goalies and Bunting to help out in the top 9 for Staal. Don also mentioned that for what they are paying these 3, most teams are paying for just the starter and when you factor in Kochetkov is waiver exempt this is a NO brainer. But yes please keep telling us that the canes don't pay, even TSN has given in and now claims that carolina just won't give "term" (Casually ignoring Kochetkov, KK, Svechnikov and Staal deals)

Yeah, as much as I love Steve, he's wrong about the owner being cheap. The PREVIOUS OWNER was cheap. Dundon is actually willing to spend. Yeah, the Forslund stuff is a bummer, but I wouldn't be surprised if John just wanted a fresh start somewhere else after working in one spot for so long. That and the situation with Chicago isn't really on Carolina since everything I've heard about Chicago Wolves management does not paint them in a good light.

Dangle, love ya, but Canes fans know with this trio we NEED to run 3. They're a great bunch, but they WILL get hurt.
