You had asked in another video if we were still playing standard, I made a decision to stop playing standard completely until rotation and even then if a card doesn’t cut it in Historic or Timeless I am no longer crafting it. So that Will probably limit my standard options but need to start concerning mythic and rare wild cards. Very excited for bloomburrow plan on drafting that set a bit.
Great content ! I am currently 6 wins and 5 on the meta game challenge with Boros lurrus. Any tips regarding which sideboard cards are best and what to take against what matchups ? I feel that is my weakness right now. I am using your list but with espero sentinel instead of the crappy cat .
I’m away from comp right now but let me know if a matchup in particular and I can share my thoughts. I have a video of Bo3 to see but the list there is before my current iteration as I was testing different options at the time
@@MTGJoe don't worry; I mostly struggle to what to cut ( usually the esper sentinels are clear cut and one unstable amulet) but I end up adding to much removal or the battle and then I know what to take out ( against control and sweepers would be when I struggle the most )
@MrTheraseus usually esper sentinel in creature mirrors where tax isn’t relevant. Vs faster decks I cut amulet or sometimes 1 bombardment (basically cards I don’t want to see more than 1 of)
Is there a historic version of Rakdos Vampires that does ok? Am hoping to just port something over without having to craft too much. Thanks for the great info as always Joe.

@johnwhitby8851 it’s not terrible but pyro works a bit better here since it’s card advantage and more bodies for bombardment. Not terrible and you can likely make it work
Ok I'm late but I got eliminated twice by mono g devotion with I'm pretty sure the same list of yawgmoth shown in the deck, I'm thinking about potentially bringing in angel of eternal dawn for the mu. Anyone confirm ? Or should I just stick to an optimal post side 60 Idk about ? Or do I misplay the mu heavily ?

The thought is reasonable but I ended up just going with sun cleanser and it was really good

I’d say more fun of then top of the meta. Format is very fast with energy so it’s a bit slow.
My janky Grixis Herald deck is performing quite well in the current bo1 metagame, lol.
