Agreed about the different the high republic books does it really well

I really wish this show was like any of those books. This is why the authors should really be writing or supervising Star Wars they get it.

How does a light-whip cut a bug in half but only leave a scar on Quimir's back? If it is made of energy like a lightsaber then it shouldn't work the same as a normal whip that leaves scars, right? I really don't get that theory

@earthbump that's a good question. I think she has a setting where it does less damage than a normal lightsaber to subdue enemies without killing them so she probably didn't want to kill qimir if it was her who gave him the scar. She is a Jedi after all, although none of the Jedi have been acting like Jedi in this show to be honest lol.
