I really hate how lame looking they make the Jedi look. No kid today would want to pretend to be a Jedi. The fight scenes are really bad, too. Star Wars is not kung fu.
Of all the issues this show has, which is like literally everything about it except for the fight scenes and the Force Fu shxt is absolutely cool looking.
@@Byronic19134 Right. Lightsabers wildly missing targets or just aiming at other lightsabers is awesome. Jedi masters swinging light sabers in a forest behind trees nowhere near the opponent looks awesome too. Power levels that make absolutely no sense when padawans can somehow last longer than the masters. Hand to hand combat with Force users forgetting that they can actually use the Force is awesome. It's all terrible.
In the show, the guy she wants to kill is just around 8 - 10 years older than the twins. He is supposed to be 30 or younger. He was padawan, now it's something like 10 years later. They try to make him look like 40+. They can't even keep up with the age of their own characters. This guy should be in his prime now, the first years of his prime, late 20s, not old. It's a stupid show 🤦♂️
The whole show is like it's made by headless, female chickens. It's bad indeed 😂

Also how did Torbin become a master by just floating? Anakin was an active Jedi fighting in wars and he was denied the level of Master for a time yet this guy just force meditates and he gets master status.
Tommen Baratheon/Lannister:
It would be nice if someone in the show explained the meditation trance for ten years thing to explain why his hair, nails, etc weren't all ten years worth of growth while he's got a force shield around him. There's a padawan and the good twin right there who could ask about it, have Sol explain that it suspends or greatly slows all biological processes, or something really simple like that.

So someone made the explanation to me that, essentially, this is supposed to he the 'high republic' timeline. That this is supposed to he THE MOST de-militarized point for the Jedi, where they're barely more than glorified cops. They're basically untrained, and barely connected with the force themselves.

The show is bad but... the content coming from you and several others talking about it has been gold and fun. The reactions are better then anything they could have put out.

It will get worse. Just wait until Episode 7 where we see in-depth what the Jedi did on Witch World. Basically they did nothing wrong, and everyone would be alive if the witches hadn't flipped their shit.
And remember that they let apothecary dude off with a warning after admitting to being knowingly and willingly complicit in a murder. I'm guessing the writers couldn't think of any other way to get him out of trouble so he could be important later without giving away the (obvious) twist.

In movies, the character of the hero is in a way indirectly defined by the characteristics of the adversary he has to face. Simply put: A great villain makes for a great hero.
Kennedy and Headland have to awkwardly script their antagonists (usually men, and any person of dignity) into being mouthbreathing morons - being entirely oblivious to what that says about their heroes. 😏
These two are just like gamers who are using cheat codes, and who are getting a high out of mowing everybody down, enabled by the unfair advantage they enjoy. Pitiful.

Nobody wrote this show. She let the actors' genius define the characters and drive the plot. I guarentee they probably shot the whole show 3 times because the actors' performances inspired major story changes.
Spoiler alert! It does not get better, it gets much, much worse.
Just a head up. When/if you get to episode 7, keep reminding yourself that Leslye Headland said that episode 7 is sympathetic to the Jedi and makes it understandable how they thought they were doing the right thing. If she hadn't said that, I swear you'd think it was written with the intent to smear the Jedi. This accomplishing the opposite of what was it was meant to do demonstrates how unskilled the writing is.

Strong female protagonist (Osha)- why is she seduced to the dark side from a nude scene with a guy that just murdered her friends and kidnapped her to a different planet?
Darth Love Sausage- congrats for being the most well endowed character in the franchise. I’m sure that will sell a bunch of action figures.
Jedi Master Torbin- how did you even become a Jedi if all you want to do is go home after less than 2 months. Guess the galaxy be damned cause you miss your couch and TV. Also the times don’t add up. If you’re in your bubble for 10 years that means you went from Palawan to Master in 5 years. Sorry Anakin, this guys a better Jedi. Also, why drink the poison at all, if you didn’t do anything wrong?

Im still sore about the carrie ann moss bait and switch . She and lee jung jae was the reason i was intially excited for the show. 'They' 😁 killed trinity off within 20 mins of the first episode and made lee jung jae act off a horrific script and around amatuerish actors.
