Arthur doesn't want any more to do with them. He doesn't attend D.W graduation but would for Kate four years later. He wouldn't show up to anything that involves meeting with his family except when Kate or Mo is concerned (Grandma Thora is possible but I don't know if she would live this long).

Fortunately, you can't keep a good Neff down, and after two whole copyright claims, the gospel has risen again. Time will tell if they decide to come back swinging again for round three. OK so if DW at 5 or whatever doesn't know what a wedding is, how do all these women, who keep banging on about "oh I've been dreaming about my wedding since I was 3" know what a wedding is and how do they know they wanna do it? I think it may have to do with how much influence Religion has on one's upbringing. Like if they have a big family with many people being married in big ceremonies they are made to be part of (flower girl, ring bearer, junior bridesmaid, etc.) then they might start getting ideas early. Not to mention if there are Expectations of them growing up and getting married, then they might end up having ideas from a young age. Of course to a child, a wedding just seems like putting on pretty clothes and having a big party. So maybe the nuances of romance and commitment and such are believably glossed over by DW in the second instance here.

have you notice DW is starting to be less of a brat with each season? like there rare times something's not her fault and rarely not acting up.
Probably because they had parents complaining or something. I know people who's siblings watched Arthur and they started acting like DW, but worse. One of my friends sisters full on beat on her and one of them tried pushing her down the stairs because they both know they won't get in trouble (parents don't believe in beating their kids anymore) and my friend literally told me that they watched a lot of Arthur and liked the DW episode. They're 8 and 10, beating on a 15 year old and telling her to stop breathing because "they don't like it." DW needs to be thrown in a ditch.
