I’m shocked the ‘Draw!’ episode didn’t make this video! After Francine unapologetically makes fun of Fern, she gets revenge & shows the friends a comic she drew of a conceited cow named Frank who makes fun of everyone else. The kids find this hilarious, but when Francine discovers this, she is less than amused understanding the cow represents her. Soon enough, the group draw their own depictions of Francine, deciding to give her a taste of her own medicine. I won’t continue the plot as I believe many in this comment section would be familiar with the episode, just I think it would’ve been a better choice than the “bet to be nice” episode. Francine was a true blue bully in ‘Draw!’ & while the repercussions were well deserved, it also taught kids about the vicious cycle of bullying. To this day I still remember Mrs. MacGrady’s words: “I always say, - never serve anyone a stew that you wouldn't want to eat yourself." The only problem is, I remember at the end of the episode Francine admitting to Mrs.MacGrady that she was wrong to bully Fern, but we don’t see her apologize TO Fern. Arthur & the gang are shown to be apologetic at the end & run to make amends - but the resolution feels one sided.
I’m starting to believe the person who wrote Arthur had very misogynistic views towards the women he grew up around 😭 like we get it your sister was annoying you didn’t have to go this far

10:58 Interestingly enough, this Arthur episode is one of the RARE times Princess Peach was referred to as such outside Japan. The other times being Yoshi’s Safari and Super Mario 64. Before, she was referred to as “Princess Toadstool” in English.
I remember the glasses bit, because I think that was the 1st Arthur book I read when I was little. I was around Arthur's in-show age when I got my 1st pair. It took a good amount of getting used to. Thankfully, I had some good people around me to help me get used to the adjustment. I feel bad for any kid who had to go through anything like Arthur did when they got their 1st glasses as a kid.
I really wanted to like Francine because she was the sporty type as a kid just like me, but I could never stand how mean and bratty she was. No wonder Muffy and Francine are best friends.
When I watched this as a kid, I only hated DW but now that I am grown up and watch this I see that Francine was not better than DW. Think I could not watch this nowadays without being fed up with most characters. It is also interesting to see what their original names are. Back then I watched it in German Dub and they changed some Names 😂
One Francine episode that I STILL can’t stand is the episode where she bullies Fern. Having also been introverted and quiet and rather read/write Fern was always my favorite. She rightfully lashed out with comics making fun of Francine (everyone else joined in but she’s awful to them too) and the show made them be in the wrong because it made Francine cry. So?? She made Fern cry too. She never apologized either just said “she knew she shouldn’t have been mean” then she should’ve said sorry, she finally knew how everyone else felt when she was cruel. But no she’s the victim. At least they didn’t show Fern apologizing instead
Francine has the hots for Arthur. That's why she's mean to him, she's too immature to handle her newfound feelings of attraction.. Maybe in puberty they'll explore that chapter of her emotions towards him.
@@mattneff DW is easy on there but I'm not sure who else. I was wondering who your 5 least favorite Arthur characters are. There was Cora who appeared once and she was somehow worse than DW but at least Cora only appeared in 1 episode
There are 2 episodes in particular that show Francine calling Arthur out on his bullying. The episode where Arthur is happy that D.W. lost her voice and when Arthur makes fun of Sue Ellen for wearing a tacky sweater. She on the other hand made of Arthur for wearing glasses and not losing his baby teeth, made fun of Fern for liking a puppet show and calling out Muffy on her hockey skills. She really was one of the first hypocrites I ever got introduced to during my childhood 😂
I remember an episode where Arthur and Francine get locked in a public library overnight, and Francine is mad at Arthur almost the whole episode because he recently made fun of her for wearing a sweater that made her look like “a marshmallow.” She gets bent out of shape for days over someone calling her a name probably just one time, as opposed to the weeks that she spent endlessly taunting Arthur on two separate occasions. He even calls her out on this towards the end of the episode, but she completely sidesteps it by pointing out and flattering him over something more considerate that he just did for her in that scene. Talk about a hypocritical narcissist.

MacGrady’s words: “I always say, - never serve anyone a stew that you wouldn't want to eat yourself."
The only problem is, I remember at the end of the episode Francine admitting to Mrs.MacGrady that she was wrong to bully Fern, but we don’t see her apologize TO Fern. Arthur & the gang are shown to be apologetic at the end & run to make amends - but the resolution feels one sided.
Love your videos
Same here. Matts videos are the GOAT!
Thanks for watching!
@@mattneff Your videos are always good, keep up the good work!
I’m starting to believe the person who wrote Arthur had very misogynistic views towards the women he grew up around 😭 like we get it your sister was annoying you didn’t have to go this far
MATT NEFF THE JUNETEENTH GOD!
Lol, not my intention, but I'll take it
"Buster is so upset, that he momentarily switches bodies with The Brain." 🤣👏🏻
Thanks for watching everyone! Let me know what episodes I should cover next!
Locked in the Library
Could you cover the episode “Draw”.
"Citizen Frensky"
FRANCINE BECOMES A VOYUER
Draw or MacFrensky (even though I think Muffy is worse in it)
@@BlackOrderAlchemist yeah I agree. Muffy is worse in MacFrensky though.
what version of pumped up kicks is that
Holy shit smosh had officially become not stalgic old media. At around 4:50 this guy used the smosh shut up audio as a joke. I was not expecting that flashback.
17:14 What's DW doing there?
8:56 two arthurs
Locked in the library has FU Francine qualities!
No way you will convince me that she's worse than Muffy, I could not stand that character as a kid
Between DW, Francine, Binky and his father, no wonder Arthur talks to himself
This guy's my new favorite UA-camr
I love your videos and I started watching them yesterday
I’m just going to say I think she and Muffy are more of bullies than Binky. Like at least he’s upfront about how he’s very aggressive. Those two think they can do no wrong. Also Binky is shown to have a caring sensitive side to him
Are you gonna make a playlist

Interestingly enough, this Arthur episode is one of the RARE times Princess Peach was referred to as such outside Japan. The other times being Yoshi’s Safari and Super Mario 64. Before, she was referred to as “Princess Toadstool” in English.
Francine was more of a bully than all of the Tough Customers combined.
The intro was the third scariest thing I've ever saw second is DW and first is Caillou
How did he get a twin? 8:30
The fact that Francine and Arthur end up married worries me.
Do they canonically get married?
@@nicholassmith41 I remember seeing a flash forward of them as adults being married and the fan wiki backs this up.
The tough customers were more likeable than Francine.
Even as a kid I always thought Francine was just mean
I really wanted to like Francine because she was the sporty type as a kid just like me, but I could never stand how mean and bratty she was. No wonder Muffy and Francine are best friends.
Hey Matt Neff can you do a FU Arthur video on the episode “So Funny I Forgot To Laugh” where Arthur makes fun of Sue Ellen for days and goes too far
Francine thinks she's Helga (fitting, since Arthur and Hey Arnold premiered the same day)
6:35 whoever wrote this line knew exactly what they were doing and you can't change my mind
10:36 wow she lacks conscience too😂
Buster and muffy are also in the crowd next to Francine.
And what looks kinda like lois and Peter Griffin?
And maybe even a normal human?
1:56 What Version/Cover/Remix of Pumped Up Kicks is that.
During the montage of Francine is getting her ass kicked Buster is able to send her air born that's some crazy upper body strength
When I watched this as a kid, I only hated DW but now that I am grown up and watch this I see that Francine was not better than DW. Think I could not watch this nowadays without being fed up with most characters. It is also interesting to see what their original names are. Back then I watched it in German Dub and they changed some Names 😂
😂im so glad she was called out. I remember saying how she was a bully when i was a kid.
i hated francine so much as a kid i almost couldn't watch the show because i'd get so pissed
He covered that episode in the so funny I forgot to laugh review the second half of it
Its seriously not a big deal. I started wearing glasses when I was Arthur’s age. Everybody got their share of problems
2:51 Electric Soldier Porygon in a nutshell
Francine has the hots for Arthur. That's why she's mean to him, she's too immature to handle her newfound feelings of attraction.. Maybe in puberty they'll explore that chapter of her emotions towards him.
As a theater kid myself I’m grateful I never had a Francine to deal with
DW might be your worst Arthur character but is Francine a close second worst
True, who do you think the top 5 worst Arthur characters are?
@@mattneff DW is easy on there but I'm not sure who else. I was wondering who your 5 least favorite Arthur characters are. There was Cora who appeared once and she was somehow worse than DW but at least Cora only appeared in 1 episode
@@adantelee5017Muffy is another terrible character.
Matt Neff: Can't justify bullying even for love.
Me: no bitches? 🤨
For the next FU Francine, can you do these episodes?
1. THE INFAMOUS DRAW EPISODE!
2. Poor Muffy
3. A is for Angry ( even though Muffy was the worst in this episode)
