Lovely, enjoy the warmth, we are middle of winter, third day dog bowls are still semi frozen, even though it rained this morning, we were 0 at 6pm last night, expecting the worst but it clouded over sometime between 4 am and 6am. Forecast is severe Frost for next 10 days.
@@helenagreenwood2305 we had rain allllll day long until about 6pm so I guess it moved on to you next. How frustrating just after you’d done the watering as well. Maybe don’t do any watering and it will be sunny ☀️🤞🏼
@@myrustygarden oh wow, 33°C and we struggled with a few days in the high 20’s! The watering was absolutely relentless and very exhausting. I hope it cools down a bit for you soon. 😊
I cant believe your outdoor cucumbers are so well.Mine have stopped growing due to the weather. I take it you are not based in the north of England! lol Not much sun here still, 40mph gusting wind, overcast still. All looking great at your plot though, nice one!
@@Zinnia82 thank you 🙂. I am in the south and the cucumbers just shot to life in the heatwave, as did most things but it’s all stalled again now. I hope that we all get some sun and heat so our veg can grow 🤞🏼
Looking good ! As of today (sat) the heavens are thankfully doing the watering .Non stop rain here in Rugby !
@@susiespearing6165 oh yes we have the same here today! No watering required and hopefully the water butts have filled too ☔️☔️☔️

@@Sellers707 thank you 😊, I’m glad that you enjoyed looking around the allotment.

As I sit typing it’s 33c at 4pm 🥵🫠, it was 26 at 7 am. But hopefully it won’t stay as I’m already watering constantly. Have a chill weekend, Ali 🫠🌞🥵🇨🇦

When you fail to pick the ripe strawberries in time, they rot, get moldy, and contaminate the other ripening strawberries.

what kind of disease is affecting your strawberries
@@StellasVegetablegardens no disease, they’ve just finished for the year. They produce really well for 3 weeks then die back and stop producing.🍓
