Just wanted to say that you guys are really good reactors. I like how you're so analytical. A lot of people don't pick up on the fact that Beteleguese is written to be a foil to Subaru's character with a lot of similarities representing all of Subaru's worst traits.
Didn’t you guys notice that a certain character was missing the last couple of episodes 🤔 It’s exactly happy because of that! How did you guys missed that, I think it was blatant how the creators made that. 😅
I really love your guy's reaction. You guys are super into it which is awesome! Also I love Subaru's growth in this story so much. It made him so interesting to see his journey as a heavily flawed but persistent individual.
The reason Emilia didn't recognize Subaru in that cloak is because it is a magic cloak that makes it so people will see you but not recognize you. It basically helps you blend into the crowd and be anonymous without being invisible. You'd basically see it and think "Oh.. hey look.. it's some guy in a cloak..well whatever". And then someone would ask you "Hey, who was that guy?" and you'd be like.. "I didn't get a good look at him." Emilia was wearing the cloak before earlier in the series to blend in with the townspeople at times.
Beteleguese voice actor is the same for kirito from Sword Art Online, Soma from shokugeki no soma and bell cranel from danmachi. 3 main characters lol. But the voice is completey different in re zero
So the gospel that Betelgeuse has, is basically what will happen in his life, and what he will and has to do, so because Subaru wrote, "you're finished" with his blood in the Bible, he died, also SEASON 2 HYPE
Moving on to Second Season!! You're gonna LOVE the new OP and ED! Ps: You see a bit of it in episode 12, but most dragon carriages have a spell on them that lets them avoid wind-resistance. But if you lean out too far, you'll exit the spell's area of protection, and it can seriously cut you up. Also, Bete is just Bete. Not Subaru lol. PS: You should watch the movie, Frozen Bonds! It's about Emilia!
Season 2 episodes drop every Wednesday, Season 2 is split into 2 parts, Part 1 is most likely 12 episodes so it would end August-September and then Part 2 is the other 12 and it begins in January and we may get a possible Season 3 either by the end of 2021 or somewhere within 2022-2023 The thing that i took from the Ordeal is that the Witch needs a vessel to possess but if the coming fated day occurs then she would be reborn either way, but the Ordeal may just be a way to get her back early. Did i take this the wrong way because others have come to this conclusion, so.......? Because he makes it sound like she’ll appear no matter what and i bet the Light Novel will have a final fight with the Witch of Envy after she is reborn on that day or after she finds someone to possess Btw Unseen Hand only belongs to Betelgeuse and the Witch as we know since Unseen Hand is the Authority of Sloth therefore Subaru cannot learn it naturally. Would be cool if your theory of Betelgeuse being a twisted version of Subaru was true. Don’t watch the Director’s Cut after credits for this episode, it’s carried into Season 2 Episode 1
Bryan Garcia Shhhhhh don’t hint towards thing not yet shown, even saying some are No and Yes are kinda spoiling because it gives the idea that a few of these things are true, i know which are true myself but i didn’t hint that some did happen

One thought/my fan theory I want to implant now that you've gotten this far, is consider again WHO is really controlling RBD and what is THEIR end? You've mentioned "Emilia on the throne" and "acting selflessly" as prerequisites to "move forward" in the time slips, but I'm not convinced it's all that benevolent.
Well without spoiling anything we know that how Subaru acts does not influence whether he moves on or not. There are alternative stories called Sin Ifs in which Subaru takes differnt paths. RBD allows him to progress only if he does not die

Directors cut does not have a longer ending. It's literally just the first four or so minutes of season 2's episode 1 tacked onto the end as a teaser.
Emilia is the secondary protagonist and arcs 1-3 don't develop characters beside the MC and Rem's arc. Emilia will get a shot ton of development now
The actual plot kicks into season 2. And lets just say arc 4 is the best and longest arc anime-wise and will take up all of season 2

I personally quit after 12 (or 13). I came back after about 2 months though and it was worth it.
