Sig could operate his crabbing boat with his eyes closed. You da man Sig. Always, well done!!
I worked on a Couple of Crab Fishermans Harleys in the MID 90's.. Those Guys were Animals 👍👍.. And Sigs Boat was Parked in the Hylebos Water way in Tacoma along with a Couple Others
Capt. Wild bill wycrosky is the toughest of all on that show
The Trident Boat "Bountiful" is docked in Hylebos quite a bit
Thanks for making sure we know your connection to this 9 min. video. It's a better world now that we know.
No doubt on Wild Bill being the toughest he could a bowl of nails without any milk Jake is also a tough one as well
I love these Captains and Crews!I have some much Respect for them🚢🌻
Nature was telling Sig, "You didn't pay the fish tax to be allowed to fish.
Lol yup enforcement eagle
I grew up in the commercial fishing industry and it was such an exciting life and something always going wrong and someone almost died weekly because it was always go, go, go, all the time
The pun!!! Patriotic Fowl (foul). Well done, Mike.
love this series!!!!
Loosing the autopilot does not equate to losing “Control”! A better, non clickbait title would be “Sig loses the autopilot and has to steer the boat himself”.
😂
@@slipknotic Absolutely right .
Or... Sig loses it
Maybe television isn't for you..
At 5:16 and I quote “MY STEERING IS NOT WORKING” not even mentioning the autopilot till later after he gets told the antenna has been snapped in half, there is a BIG difference between the steering not working and him not having autopilot 😂
6:22 when u know sig is now just fed up with the boat it's a normal thing now and another day
"Anything Else?!" *TOTAL POWER LOSS* "Alright!"
😊😊😊 beautiful view
Hey! A little preventative maintenance goes a long way!
O sig Hansen está bem agora.. seu genro é o melhor parceiro para os negócios da família continuarem.
It's a bad day on the Northwestern lol

Would Edgar lose control of the engine room?
Not a Chance
I thought all crabbing was on hold up there!?
No only kingcrab and baradai are on hold the
@@TheStefanosss kk - thank you sir!
Thats a bad omen with 2 things goin bad like it did.
Ser pescador no es para todo el mundo so especiales esas personas
Wasn't crabbing canceled a few months ago?
Red King and Opilio. There are still several other fisheries though.
Crab prices have gone up and up,,, so has fuel cost!!
Cause and effect..duh. 😊
Edgar would have it fixed,,,, FAST....
I've asked before but nobody has provided an answer: why do they drop the pots when they don't know if there's crab down there? A simple underwater rig - maybe the size of a basketball - airtight with a GoPro camera and flashlight - would tell them if there's crab. You drop it down, have a look about, then decide.
This "drop the pots and hope for the best" method seems incredibly inefficient and wasteful.
Or, what am I missing?
Would the GoPro camera work 2400 to 3000 feet down?
@@calvinchung3419
Not on its own, obviously, but put inside some kind of deep water diving rig, no reason it shouldn't work. If they can send cameras and subs down to look at the Titanic at 12,000' (which is usually successful - the recent, tragic, incident notwithstanding) then they could send one down 3,000' to look for crab.
I'm just curious if there's some legal or practical reason for not doing so that I'm unaware of.
There is nothing worse than a man overboard. I'm from north Texas I will never forget the men you lose. Thank you sig. My family loves you.
Lol
What the wizard 😅
this dude is the same as the first season?
Yea, losing steering and losing autopilot is the exact same thing. Fudgeheads

Where is you brother. . Really ????
It looks like he's under the influence orf something.
I’m fairly certain that they’re all on something.
Probably pain killers, heart meds and fatigue.
Fatigue is actually the biggest factor hear I think.
Well
.. Fatigue and 25 years of fishing
Yeah more I think of it it's probably fatigue
@@jaspergobes You're right
Bad juju with his daughter not being on board.
No big thin
Sig sure seems to lose control quite often
Cause it's scripted like a motherfucker..I worked on the Cornelia Marie in the mid 2000s camera guys got in the way most of the time but most of the time back then was not scripted now the swells you can't script that but aside from that he still had control of the vessel he only lost his autopilot now it was something like he was able to seer it at all even manually then he'd lose control but that can be fixed even at sea just need to know what your doing and how to do it
Hahahaha
Try putting money back into your boat and have spare parts on hand. Especially things like antennas , hydro lines.
Poor captain leadership for sure
Help
Sig hansen bring your daughter then
Cig
sig is a bad motor scooter
It’s made for tv folks so it’s fake
Not a fan of Sig, he acts like a bully, I mean pretends to be a tough guy.
A bit full of himself from what I read about him .
I like fish
