The Connection Between No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw (and Let It Die)

- I'm a big fan of the games by Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture, and in the (currently) most recently released No More Heroes game (Travis Strikes Again) there are a LOT of references to other Suda51 games. However, one game that seemed overall to be lacking in connection to Travis Strikes Again was Lollipop Chainsaw. However, having played both games pretty recently, I noticed that there does, in fact, seem to be a pretty big connection between the two (which also connects it to Let It Die).
The man sitting next from uncle death in the arcade gives you tips in no more heroes 3 , also uncle death has a cameo on travis strikes again , in the same again we can see some characters from killer 7 , and finally in nmh 3 and tsa appears kamui is from shiruba jinken but with a significative redesign in the third part and it also forms part of the story
Love to see my fav game, Lolipop Chainsaw being talked about.
The death drives were probably meta created by grasshopper
I ain’t going to lie but I thought Let it Die and my god The first death drive appeared there. God damn this is just a big mixed connection I love it!
This is a good video but im not fully convinced on the lollipop chainsaw part, if i had to guess grasshopper just likes the concept and used it in lollipop chainsaw and then fully fleshed it out in let it die and travis strikes back
I wish they'd remake lollipop chainsaw
It's such a surprisingly good game, probably my 2nd favorite Suda51 game overall. I feel like a lot of Suda51's games end up being one-off though and unfortunately don't get sequels or remakes. Even a PC release would be great so it doesn't disappear when 7th gen console games start getting hard to find/play.
Sounds a little like Tron !
Maybe Tron is a Death Drive game too!
