Hi, thank you for this great video. It’s really helpful, as I’m considering doing the same thing on my Defender 110. Out of interest, how did you find your Road Angel RA8100 camera at night? Is the view of the camera clear enough when it’s dark?
Thanks, glad it helped! The camera is good at night - I also have rear work lights which I use if needed but in general it's pretty good with the reverse light illuminating the road behind
Good man! Top job! I have a project where I also need to drill into the body of my L322. Any tips on how you drilled your hole? Did you start with a pilot hole size and then gradually step up in drill bit sizes until you got to the desired size hole? Did you do anything to the bare metal of the hole to rust proof it? Thanks for the video!
Thanks! Just started with a punch mark and ensured I had a metal drill bit. Key is to actually set the drill to a quick setting so that it doesn’t chew up the metal. After that, I treated the bare edges with a primer and some paint 👍🏼
Just fitted a 80£ Bluetooth cam without any of the cable mess and ripping the car apart 😉
Hi Thomas! Which one did you go for? The Garmin one? Can you connect any Bluetooth camera to your head unit?
Yes. This information will help...
Like the content but its too dark when filming inside the car :(
Sorry yes! It's really hard to film the back as it's a really dark area
